Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon and My Craft Spot Cross Promotion!

Hay ya'll hee hee! Welcome to our cross promotion blog hop! If you have arrived from Karen's Blog you are hopping in the right direction! If you need to go back and start from the beginning click HERE to Lisa's Blog!

Today I'll be sharing some cards I made using PPPR's cutting files... On The Farm, Farm Critters, and Cute Chicks! The stamp set I chose from My Craft Spot is Down On The Farm! I have to say I'm am in LOVE with these cutting files! The farm critters just crack me up and especially this chicken! I used a card base from the Silhouette Store and layered the frame with several layers to make it nice and thick :) I had so much fun piecing everything together! For my cute little farmer boy, I used a face from Peachy Keen's, January's 2014 stamp club kit. I also added some pop dots underneath him to add some dimension. I love this sentiment and if you knew my neighbor this card fits her PERFECT and I know she will love it since she was raised on a farm! I may even have to bake a little something special to send over with it hee hee!! Here's a view from the side....

For my next card, I used another card base from the Silhouette store which I think it's called a tent card? The background chicken wire is a background stamp from MCT called, Spring Chicken. I used my StarDust jellyroll pen to give it some sparkle. The chicken is from the Farm Critters cutting files (OMG! Isn't he just the cutest!) The little baby chicks are from the Cute Chicks cutting file. I love how cute they look all shrunk down :) The hay is from the On The Farm cutting files. I used a die by MCT called Square Stitched Goody to stamp the sentiment Just Hatched on.

Here is a side view of my card....

These cutting files and the stamp set I chose work so PERFECT together!! Now for the prize details! Up for grabs is a $20 gift card to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and $20 gift card to My Craft Spot! MCT Whatever Wednesday!

Hey ya'll! This is my second post today if you are looking for my PPPR Design Team Wednesday project click HERE! Also, if you click my picture above you probably can see it better! I had a hard time getting a decent picture of my tag and decided to surrender and just go with this one lol!!

Today is Whatever Wednesday at My Creative Time! I've been wanting to make some sort of shaker for a long time! Yes, I'm going to admit it...I was skeered!!! So, I started with baby steps and made this tag! I did have to perform a little surgery on it but all in all I'm pretty pleased with it hee hee! I started out by using one of the tags in the Tag die set. I then used the Stitched Restroom Peep dies and ran it back through my Grand Calibur. Before I started to do the shaker part I wanted to stamp my sentiments. The top sentiment is from the Home Sewn stamp set. I wanted it to curve so I achieved this by curving it on my block before I stamped (I was a little off with my curve). The bottom sentiment is from the stamp set, Many Greetings. After I assembled the shaker part, I used the small heart from the Stitched Sweethearts & XOXO die set and glued it in the center.

These are really fun to make! I will definitely start looking at things a little different now to see if it can be turned into a shaker hee hee! I hope you all have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

PPPR Design Team Wednesday!

Hey! It seems like FOREVER since I've posted anything :( I have been fighting pneumonia now for the second go around :( I swear I'm so ready for warmer weather and hopefully that means NO MORE being sick lol! This winter has definitely not been good for me and I'm sure you have heard the expression I'm SICK of being SICK!!! Well, that's me, I've had enough!

It was hard getting my Mojo back but I do have to say it was fun getting in here and playing! I've been wanting to try a shaker card for quite some time so I decided to give it a whirl hee hee. I've used the cute little duck from the Little Duckling cutting files. I turned the flower into the shaker by cutting a circle using one of my SU circle punches. I've not got a lot of supplies to make the shakers so here I filled it using coffee :) I think it worked and it smelled good too! It shakes!! The grass is a die by MCT, Stitched Grass. The sentiment is also by MCT called Color Me Happy. It's hard to tell in the photo but I did sponge (very lightly) some blue for the sky you just can't see it here :(

Be sure to visit the PPPR's Blog to see what the other designers made for our Design Team day! I hope you all have a AWESOME Wednesday! Hugs, Leanne

The sentiment I created using several of MCT's stamp sets and of course I forgot to write it down and now I can't remember (sorry) :( I also forgot to add I added some Liquid Glass to the eyes and some pop dots to Harry for dimension. MCT Inspiration Wednesday!

This is my second post for today if you are looking for PPPR Design Team Wednesday please click HERE.

Good morning (hee hee again bahahaha) Today is Inspiration Wednesday at My Creative Time! This is where we can use anything as our inspiration when we are making our project. I don't have a photo to share with you what inspired me :( All I know I've been making Easter cards lately lol! Maybe the dirt inspired me, or the carrots...whatever it was this is the result bahahaha!!

I used two different cutting files from the Silhouette store. One had the little bunny and the other had the carrots! I hand tore some paper for my dirt. For my sky background, I used one of the cloud dies from the Fly Away With Me die set. I love using this cloud as a template and sponging around it with some ink! The sentiment at the top, "Hippity Hoppity" is from the set, Happy Hunting. The sentiment at the bottom is from the set, Color Me Happy. I stamped it on the Stitched Curvy Label die. Here is another look (I think the colors are better in this photo than the one up above)....

I'm sorry I haven't been posting as much lately and I wanted to let you know why! I've been in my craft room "trying" to destash! I've got so much stuff that I don't use and probably never will use and it's been driving me CRAZY!! I feel so unorganized and my craft room has been staying such a huge mess that I finally decided to do something about it! I've got such a hoarder problem (I pray that I don't get turned into that show lol) I hold on to EVERY little thing thinking that one day I will use it or what if I need it later on! I'm trying my best to stop that and just get rid of it! I mean who needs THREE Scor Pals??? I have two Scor Pals and one Martha Stewart one! Anyhoo, that's what I've been trying to do in all my spare time. I know when I get finished it's going to feel sooooo good to step in here but right now I've got a long way to go! Wish me luck :) Have a AWESOME day!! Hugs, Leanne

PPPR Design Team Wednesday!

Good morning! I'm sorry I have not been posting a project everyday lately. I'm in the process of trying to destash! I have so much that I really don't use and I've got to get rid of it! I wished I could say that I'm about finished but it's still a work in progress lol! I'm also having to fight those hoarder issues! I'm trying to quit using the words "might" or "what if" that's what got me in this mess to start with! Anyhoo, I just wanted you to all know I'm still here (somewhere in all this mess) and hopefully when I get through I can get back on more of a regular schedule!

Today is Design Team day over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon Blog! Lisa sure has added some of the cutest cutting files here lately! I hope you will take a minute and check out her store! This little piggy is from one of her newest releases, Farm Critters! Isn't he cute! The mud puddle came from the Silhouette store. The sentiment is from MCT's, I'm Here For You Rain or Shine. I can't wait to cut some more of these adorable critters!

Be sure to head over to the PPPR Blog to see what the other Design Team ladies made! They always amaze me with their talent!! I hope you have a AWESOME Wednesday :) Hugs, Leanne

MCT Whatever Wednesday!

Hey ya'll! I hope everyone is having a great week :) Today is Whatever Wednesday at My Creative Time! This is where we can make whatever we want a card, layout, or a 3D project. I bet your not shocked that I went with a card hee hee!

I used this cute little chick from SVG Cutting The name of the file is Chickadees. Isn't he cute hee hee! I replaced the glasses that were included in the file and used Emma's from the What's Growing On? stamp set. I went a tad bit overboard with the stickles lol (okay I screwed up so had to cover up my mistake...there I admitted it bahahaha) Anyhoo, he's all sparkly! I printed out the paper using my Cameo and the barbed wire frame is from the Silhouette Store. The daisy is from the Stitched Daisy die set and I added some more stickles to the center. The sentiment is from the newest release, Hello Chickie and I stamped it on the banner from the Vintage Stitched Label die set. To finish it off I added some faux stitching around the edge of the card. Here's a lookie at it from the side...

AFTER I was finished with it I was thinking (I know scary lol) it would have been cute to add the chickie to a action wobble :( I guess I still could, I'll have to think about it :) I always forget that I have a ton of action wobbles! I need to remember to use them! Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Leanne
