Hey ya'll! Welcome to the MCT 29th Release Blog Hop! You should be arriving here from the sweet Micia's Blog but if you need to start at the beginning of the hop head over to Emma's Blog! I'm sure you have already realized this but I've just got to say it hee hee isn't this release AWESOME!!! Emma has certainly done it again with another FABULOUS release!!! I know your excited to get through the hop so I'm going to get right on with the details of my cards and try not to ramble lol!!

Today I will be featuring the "I'm a Lucky Girl" set and just let me say it makes St. Patrick's Day projects so FUN!! I've never been one to like this Holiday but this set is quickly changing my mind hee hee! Okay, for this first card I've used the most adorable little Leprechaun I've yet to see! He's this Friday Freebie today in the PPPR's Store so hurry up and snatch him up!! I've added some Liquid Glass to his eyes and teeth (every Leprechaun needs glossy white teeth hee hee)! I've also got him on a action wobble so he can dance if he wants to! The music notes are from Peachy Keen's-02 2012, Stamp Kit of the month. I used the new "Bracket Dies" and coordinating stamps for the top and bottom bracket (LOVE!!!). The sentiment is from the new "I'm a Lucky Girl" set and I stamped it on the banner from the "Vintage Stitched Label" die set. I really wanted to round off the corners of my base card BUT my corner rounder has went missing (RIP corner rounder I sure do miss you!) Here's a lookie at my card from the side....

For my next card, I really love how this card came out and it was so quick and easy! I just hate that my photo doesn't do it much justice :( It looks way better in person. These die cuts all came from the Silhouette Store and I used my print and cut (even my background paper). Both the little clover and the sentiment are included in this set, "I'm a Lucky girl".

Here's another look at it from the side...

For my third card, I haven't decided if this is a cute Leprechaun or a scare the heck out of you Leprechaun!!! I asked my hubby (like he knows hee hee) and he liked it (that should have told me something right there!) Anyhoo, I got him from the Silhouette store too! I used PK-02 2012 Stamp Kit of the month again for his face. If you look real close I gave him a gold tooth and added Liquid Glass to the other one (I added it to his eyes also) I colored the inside of his mouth with copic markers. I also stamped the little clover that's in the "I'm a Lucky Girl" set on his shirt. The cutting file came with a hat but I switched it out for the one that's included in the "I'm a Lucky Girl" set, it's way cuter!!! I've added gold stickles to it, the gold coins and the gold pile he's standing on (no he's not standing in a big pile of mac n' cheese it's gold bahahhaha) The sentiment is from the new release set, "I'm a Lucky Girl" also!

Yup, you guessed it, another side view picture hee hee....

Okay, for my final card, I've used Emma's, Stitched Doily Die and the clover from the "You're My Pot of Gold". I placed the clover die in the center and ran it back through my Grand Calibur" to cut it out. I then backed it with a piece of pattern paper. I used Emma's "Medium Stitched Scallop Bow" and arranged it under the clover. I then used the banner from the "Vintage Label" dies to stamp my sentiment (also from this new set). I did mask the sentiment. I used this part for the front and the remaining part for the inside of my card. The embossing folder is by The Paper Studio called Quatrefoil.

Another look from the side...

Good morning peeps! I'm sorry I didn't get to join in the first two days of peeks but I have lots to share with you today! I've been without internet the last few days and thank goodness it's back! I was fixing to go a little stir crazy hee hee! Anyhoo, I've got several cards to share with you today and to keep this from being a long, longggggg post I'm going to get started with the details hee hee!

Today we are sneak peeking two sets, Hello Chickie and a new die, Stitched Grass die. LOVE both of them!! For my first card, I found this cute chubby rabbit in the Silhoutte store (bless him he's been eating to many carrots hee hee) I just thought he was so cute and knew he would be even cuter using the face stamps from Peachy Keen, PK-1357 Sweet on you! I used the nose that came with the cutting files but I added some whiskers from PK-138 Kitty Tear face parts. Hee hee I know, I know they are kitty whiskers but today just think of them as bunny whiskers lol! I used a copic to shade him around the edges. The basket holding the carrots is also a sneak today from the Hello Chickie set! Not only does this set have awesome sentiments it has dies included too!! SCORE!!! Anyhoo, the sentiments are from this set too. These are two separate sentiments and I had to mask off the "Wishing you a " because I wanted to pair it up with the "Happy Easter" I also did a little doodling around them and the border of my card (thank you Debbie for giving me the courage to give doodling a try! I'm not great at it but it was a change up and sometimes change is good!) It's hard to tell but I've used Emma's new Stitched Grass die! OMG! I totally love this die!! I used a sponge dauber and used a cloud from the Fly Away With Me die set as a template to create the sky background. Oh, and before I forget I added some Liquid Glass to the eyes!! Here is a side view of my card...

My next card, I used a cutting file from PPPR called Hoppy Easter! This set has some of the cutest Easter bunnies in it! One of the things I like to do is make my files real big and then trim them down. I did this with this bunny and love how he came out! I used another Peachy Keen face set, PK-757 Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed for his face. I also did some masking on my sentiment. The first part, Thanks for being an egg-cellent is from the new set Hello Chickie and the word friend is from MCT's Just Simply Live set. I thought this would be a great Easter card to send to one of my friends!

Here is a side view....

This next card is not only using a sentiment from the set, Hello Chickie but I've used the dies that are included! The grass is from the Stitched Grass die and the little hearts are from the Stitched Sweethearts & XOXO die set. Isn't that little chickie just TOO CUTE?!!! I added a face from Peachy Keen to it also, PK-460 Happy Lashes. The embossing folder is by The Paper Studio called Doodle Frame.

Here's a side view picture of this card too...

Today is Design Team day over at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon's Blog and this is the card I made for it (it's a post down) I used another sneak on this card so just in case you missed it I thought I would share it again here! I used the cross from the Easter Cross Cutting file as my focal point. The grass (which I trimmed here) is from the peek, Stitched Grass die and the sentiment is from the peek Hello Chickie. The pattern paper is all from my scrap stash.

Another side view picture....

WHEW!!! This turned out to be a long post anyways huh?!! I may have to go lay down from all that typing bahahaha!! I hope you liked all my cards today! I am in LOVE with this release and I'm sure you will be too so get ready to put a BIG O hole your wallet because you are definitely going to want them all! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for sticking with me through this long post if your still reading this!! Have a fantastic Wednesday! Hugs, Leanne

For my card, I've used the cross from the Easter Cross cutting files and used it as my focal point. The pattern papers are some I've had in my stash for a while. It's also sneak peek week at MCT and remember I told you were going to get to see some sneak peeks? The grass and sentiment are being sneaked today! I trimmed down the grass to make it work for my card. I thought this sentiment paired up with the cross went together great :)

My card I'm sharing with you today is SUPER simple but I still love how it came out! I absolutely LOVE this cute cut file from the Make A Wish set! I think this little guy is so adorable blowing out the candles! It's hard to tell in the photo but on his shirt I used the polka dot pattern stamp from MCT's, Build A Banner kit. The sentiment is from MCT's, Polka Dot "Surprise" stamp set (a oldie but a goodie hee hee). The pattern paper and also the shape is from the Silhouette Store. Here's another look at my card from the side...

PPPR Design Team Wednesday!

Good morning! I hope you are enjoying your week! We woke up yesterday to snow and expecting LOTS more today!! Don't worry, I've got my gallon of milk and my loaf of bread so I'm good :) Not sure why I got bread? I guess it's just considered one of those things you "just get" when the "s" word is mentioned! Anyhoo, bring on the snow!! I'm ready :)

Today is Design team day over at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Blog and I have a card I would like to share with you! When I'm looking at die cuts I always like to try to challenge myself to use them in ways that they were not intended (I know I'm weird lol) I don't know why, I just think it's fun lol! Anyhoo, I spotted this Cauldron in the Little Witches Cutting Files and knew it would pair up great with the sentiment from MCT's, Fight Night! I also knew I wanted to make it a Valentine's card so I changed the "brew" from green's to red's and BAM we now have a luvvvv potion hee hee!! The tiny little hearts are from the stamp set, Once Upon A Time. I used my StarDust JellyRoll pen to go along the edges of the luvvvv potion and the wand to add some sparkle. I wanted to add some stickles but just realized I'm all out sniff, sniff! I felt like it still needed a little something so I added some faux stitching around the edges.

Well, that's it for me today! I hope you liked my card and I'm so glad you stopped by for a look :) Be sure to head over to the PPPR's Blog to see what they have made for today! Happy crafting and have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne

My card today is super (and I really mean super hee hee) quick and easy! I created it in under 10 minutes! I started out by stamping the dash lines that are included in the set, Gift Card Sentiments. I then used the smallest heart in the Stitched Sweethearts & XOXO dies. The sentiment is from the stamp set, Lots Of Love. See!!! I told ya! SUPER easy and quick!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day! Hugs, Leanne

PPPR Friendship Blog Hop!!

Good morning! Welcome to our Friendship Blog Hop! If you came from Lisa's blog then you are in the right place. If you just stumbled across this post and would like to start at the beginning click HERE! Today's hop is all about friendship using PPPR's cutting files! This is going to be such a fun hop you definitely don't won't to miss a single stop! One lucky person will have the chance to win a $15 gift card to the PPPR Store. For a extra chance, be sure to "LIKE" Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon on Facebook by clicking HERE and/or sign up for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon newsletter by clicking HERE

For my card today, I used the Ladybug cutting file. Isn't this the cutest little bug?!! I fell head over heels in love with it just as soon as I saw it! I used Peachy Keen's face set, Sweet on You for the face. I chose a sentiment from MCT's stamp set, My Favorite Sayings. I split the sentiment up by masking it with tape. I made this for a friend of mine! Every time she wants to ask a favor she usually begins by saying...I hate to bug you and my response is always you can bug me anytime! So just in case you were wondering why I used it I hope it makes sense to you now :) I'm sure she will get a kick out of it! The pattern paper and the base card shape are from the Silhouette store.

Did you know that we also have a challenge going on now over at PPPR's Blog? It's a Anything Goes Challenge! The projects can be ANYTHING just as long as you are using PPPR's files!! One lucky winner from this challenge will receive $20 to the PPPR's Store! Be sure to play along and link up your project HERE! You can also find a list of the rules there too :)

So much has been going on in my little world the last couple of weeks! I'm so sorry I haven't been posting many projects :( Just a little peek at what's been happening...I've had pneumonia, a nasty stomach bug (it went through my whole family), we moved our son out into a place of his own, trying to get my house back in order and making sure no germs are left, and yesterday my FIL was admitted back into the hospital! I'm REALLY hoping to catch a break soon!!! Apparently my rabbit's foot STINKS!!! Anyhoo, just wanted to say sorry I'm still here and will be back to crafting soon just bare with me :) Hugs, Leanne
