3D Wednesday...Hoppy Easter!

Good morning and welcome to another 3D Wednesday at My Creative Time!! Easter sure has snuck up on me this year! I do have Jayden and Karsyn's basket all filled with goodies so the Easter bunny is all set hee hee!

Let me start off by saying this is not my idea! HERE is the video tutorial on how I made my little treat holder. I thought it was such a cute idea, I just had to make one! The bunny is from My Scrap Chick called Pocket Bunny (I just left off the pocket hee hee) I also used PK-440 Cute & Cuddly for the face. The sentiment is from MCT, To My Best Peep. I stamped it on the label from the MCT, Chunky Jar Accessories die set. The Easter egg is from MCT, Hello Spring die and stamp set. I used the swirly pattern included in the set to stamp my egg. The flower is from MCT, Flower Petals die set. The hemp and dome flower are from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. For my treat, I added some grass and chocolate eggs! Here is a picture from the side...

Next, I thought I would show you a picture from the back! I added a cotton ball for his tail!

I ran a little strip of pattern paper along the bottom just to add some color! I really love the way this came out and it was so fun to make! I LOVE trying new things and this one I can see making again and again! I wished you could see it in person :( I had such a hard time photographing it! I'm still struggling with my lights ugh!!! Well, that's all for me today! I hope you enjoy my little Easter treat! Thanks for looking and have a GREAT Wednesday! Hugs, Leanne

Just a little prayer

Hey all my crafty peeps! I hope your enjoying your weekend! I have a card I want to share with you using March Stamp of the Month, Floral Happiness! I just love these roses and the fact that you can layer them! The lighter shade of the rose is our exclusive ink in Hollyhock and the darker shade is Ruby. The stem is from the Flirty WorkShop on the Go Scrapbooking kit (Item#G1050) found in the Autumn/Winter 2012 catalog. I stamped it using another of our exclusive ink, Topiary. The sentiment is from the Card Chatter-Sympathy stamp set (D1476). I also stamped the coordinating sentiment on the inside of my card, which reads "that God will keep you in his care". Both of the sentiments were stamped using our exclusive ink, Hollyhock. To make the background, I used our ink, Sky and a sponge dauber.

Here's another look at the entire stamp set...

If you spend $50 this set can be yours for only $5! If your interested in placing a order please click HERE and it will take you to my CTMH Online Website! Thank you sooooo much for stopping by :) If you are new to my Blog I would LOVE for you to follow and if you are already a follower THANK YOU for dropping by too! Enjoy the rest of the weekend! My Creative Time 3D Wednesday!

Good morning everyone! Today is 3D Wednesday over at My Creative Time and I would like to share something I have been wanting to make for a while!! I have been truly blessed by being on Emma's Design Team from the beginning! I absolutely LOVE every stamp set and every die she has released! Miss Katie from Crafting With Katie came up with the PERFECT solution on how to keep up with them all! I know several of the Design team ladies have already made them one and I've been chomping at the bits to do one too! So finally here is my take on it....

It was so hard deciding on how to decorate my cover! All the awesome dies and stamps really made it hard narrowing it down (don't tell anyone but lots of innocent paper WAS harmed in this process) I knew for sure I wanted a flower on it. Having all boys around here I wanted to definitely make it a little girly hee hee! I used the Flower Petal Dies for my flower. For the center, I used one of the Dome Flowers from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. The little branch is a Sizzix die that I picked up at Joann's a while back on clearance for $2 and haven't had a chance to use (have now ha!) The butterfly is from the Chunky Jar Accessories. I also used the Stitched Doily Die (LOVE!!) The sentiment is from Paper Princess. Last, I used CTMH C1459 Stitched Together for the border. I also knocked off cobwebs, spiders, and dust bunnies and used my Cinch to make my holes!!! I used some jump rings to hold it all together! I'm SO proud of it!! I love just flipping thru it hee hee!! Well, that's all for me today! Thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

Life's Sweet And A Winner!!

Hello all my crafty friends! I hope your day is starting off GREAT!! I'm back with another quick card I would like to share with you!

I've got Spring fever and wanted to make something that reminds me of warmer days hee hee!! I'm loving this stamp set, D1535 Bugs And Hugs it definitely makes me think of Summer!! I started out by first stamping the grass/mushroom border using CTMH Exclusive ink, Pear. I then used a sponge dauber and CTMH Exclusive ink, Sky to make my background. I love the little bee that's included in this set! I randomly stamped it three different times using CTMH Exclusive ink, Black. I colored their little bodies with a copic marker. Next, I used what is becoming one of my favorite sets, C1459 Stitched Together. I'm not sure what to call this...bee trails?!! Anyhoo, I used CTMH Exclusive ink, Sky for what I'm calling bee trails!! The sentiment is included in this set also and is stamped using CTMH Exclusive ink, Black.

Thank you to the ones that placed a order on my Close To My Heart Website! I truly appreciate it soooo much! Scrapping the Little Things!

Good morning peeps! I hope you had a awesome weekend! The weather was gorgeous here over the weekend and now I'm REALLY wanting Spring/Summer to hurry up!! We grilled out and was able to get some much needed yard work done (or I should say my hubby got some much needed yard work done hee hee)

Today is Scrapping the Little Things over at My Creative Time! I decided to buy another Smash Book (the baby one) and get started so I won't "hopefully" get to far behind! I went back and forth trying to decide if I wanted the Smash book or to start a album but for now I chose this! I really, REALLY need to scrapbook more! Anyhoo, I had to skip over a page because I wanted to start out with something else but could not get my picture to print (wasted TWO days trying). I had some pictures of Cayla ready to pop that I wanted to start with but till I get them printed I saved the pages and moved on!

On the first page, I used the cartridge 9 Months for the stork, Mini albums for the pocket with tags, and Artiste for the bow. The clouds are from MCT Fly Away With Me dies. I used the Chocolate Greetings set for the sentiment, "It's A Boy". I also used the Stitched Envelope Die and stamped it with a sentiment from the stamp set, Happy Mail. On the tags, I glued a ultrasound picture to the front and back of each one. I then used the stamp set, Camera Shy to stamp a sentiment (front and back) on each one. I thought it needed something around the edges and it also gave me a chance to use my new set Stitched Together again! I love it! I used CTMH Exclusive Ink in Cashmere to stamp the border and the sentiments.

For the next page, I used the cartridges Baby steps for the baby, 9 Months for the ultrasound picture and the  title. I made the envelope from the Mini Album cartridge. It holds Karsyn's Ultrasound video. The "dvd" in the title is MCT's, Lowercase Fun dies. I stamped the date using MCT's, Label Font set. I also forgot to mention I used PK-650 Just Baby Faces for the little babies face!

I have to be honest, I stress out when I even think about Smash Books/layouts! I've been stuck on cards for so long that I think I've got it in my head that these are hard! It definitely takes more "thinking" time than a card but at the end it's SOOOOOO worth it! I just need to keep reminding myself that!

Don't forget I'm having a GIVEAWAY and today is the LAST day to be entered! Click HERE for all the details! Thanks for looking and I hope you have a AWESOME Monday!!

Happiness is HomeMade

Hello everyone!! I hope your having a GREAT weekend! I'm still playing with some of my new goodies I got recently from Close To My Heart and having a ball!

Today, I'd like to share a card I made with the stamp set, D1543 Country Born! Hee hee I'm DEFINITELY Country Born so this stamp set was right up my alley! I started out by creating my sky and ground. I used CTMH Exclusive ink, Sky and a sponge dauber for the sky. For the ground/grass I used CTMH Exclusive ink, Pear. After I had those completed I stamped my images. I used my copics to color and also to add some shading. There are several sentiments to chose from in this set! I had a hard time picking which one to use but decided to go with this one, it seemed like it fit my scene the best!

Don't forget you only have till Monday to be entered into my Giveaway (Click HERE for details) Also, March is almost over and you don't want to miss March's promotion, Jump For Joy! Contact me today and let me set your Gathering up!! Thanks for looking and enjoy your weekend! Hugs, Leanne

A friendship card!

Hey everyone! Can you believe it?!! This makes my 3rd day in a ROW to post something!! Woo Hooo! I'm scared to use the words "I'm back" because just as sure as I say it life will throw me a curve ball!! So for now, I'm taking it day by day (sometimes minute by minute hee hee) and enjoying every chance I get to sneak off in my craft room and play!!

I'm excited to share my card with you today! It was so fun to make and I got to play with lots of my new goodies all on ONE card!! First let me tell you which stamps sets I used and then I'll move on to which ink colors I used! I started out stamping the stitch border using C1459 Stitched Together. I have been wanting this set for a while and so glad I finally broke down and ordered it! I love it! I then used the set C1536 Happy Thoughts Seasons And Nature for my flowers, leaves, & bird. The sentiment is from B1400 Beautiful Friendship! I added some adhesive gems that came from the Avonlea collection for the centers.

Okay, now on to the Exclusive Ink pads that I used! I'm just going to make a list telling the image then the ink. I think it will be easier this way hee hee!

Stitched border - Champagne
Sentiment - Cashmere
Bird - Honey
Pink Flower - Cotton Candy
Yellow flower - Creme Brulee
Blue Flower - Sky
Orange Flower - sunset
Light Pink Flower - Blush
Leaves - Pear

I decided since the sun was out today I would photograph my card outside. I may start doing this instead of stressing over taking them where I normally do! This started off as me just wanting to play around with my new ink colors and stamp sets but so happy it turned into a card! I have everything linked to my CTMH website so if you see something you like click it and it will take you straight on over where you can purchase it :) :) :) Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy your weekend! Hugs, Leanne

Happiness is... And a Giveaway!!

Good morning! I mentioned in my post yesterday about receiving my CTMH order and was excited I got a chance to play with my new ink and the Stamp of the Month, S1303 Floral Happiness last night! I just LOVE the layering on this stamp set! It just really adds so much dimension and it makes the roses and leaves more realistic in my opinion! I used CTMH's Exclusive Ink in Buttercup and also Honey for the roses. For the leaves I used Topiary and Sweet Leaf. For the sentiment, I used Twilight. I can not say it enough, I LOVE these ink pads!!! I also used another of my new stamp sets, D1535 Bugs & Hugs for the little bee! I stamped it once on my card and then again on another piece of card stock. I cut the second one out and placed over the one on the front of my card. This way I didn't have to trim out his little antenna's! To color the bee I used the ink pad, Honey and a blending pen. I used stickles on the wing. I also forgot to mention, I went over the roses and the leaves with the StarDust pen! I love how the pen makes it all sparkly! Here is a side view of my card....

I'm still having lighting issues when I'm photographing my projects :( It really puzzles me because nothing has really changed and months ago I wasn't having these problems! Anyhoo, I talked my hubby into a Lowe's trip and we purchased a new light fixture, higher watt bulbs and poo it still didn't get any better! Hee hee it may also be the fact I don't know how to operate my camera (but I wouldn't EVER confess that one to him bahahahha). Maybe before long I'll have a break thru and figure it all out! Okay, enough about that lets move on to something EXCITING.....A GIVEAWAY!!!

I have been going on and on about how I LOVE our Exclusive Ink pads so now I want to give you a chance to try one out yourself! I have a brand new Exclusive ink pad in Topiary that one lucky person can win! That's not all!! I have something else I want to add to it! I have a extra (no longer available) January Stamp Of the Month, S1301 Happy Valentine. Valentine's Day may be over but this set can be used in so many other ways than just this one Holiday! It would be great for Anniversaries, Weddings, and also if you have a rose garden you like to Scrap Book! That's just a few ideas off the top of my head! So, now I guess your wondering how to win!! For every order that is placed on my CTMH website between now and Monday I will put your name in the hat and then draw a winner! Just a reminder, you can spend $50 and earn this month's Stamp of the Month for only $5 or you could just purchase it straight out for $17.95. Hello!! Today is 3D Wednesday over at My Creative Time! It's also my first project using my Cameo!! Yup, I caved and got one! BUT I have to say I still LOVE my Cricut and my cartridges so I'm keeping them too!

I purchased the little egg basket from the Silhouette store. It was super easy to put together and didn't even have to use adhesive!!  The little bunny is a freebie from Miss Kate Cuttables. The sentiment is from the set "To My Best Peep". The butterflies are from another of Emma's new release, Chunky Jar Accessory Set. I added some green grass (fake of course lol) and Reese's candy eggs to the inside.

I'm trying real hard not to eat my display but those Reese eggs sure have been calling my name! One wouldn't hurt you think? Hee hee might as well not even lie to you...those babies are HISTORY!! Thanks for looking and have a GREAT day!! Hugs, Leanne

Fluttering by to say Hi

Howdy peeps! Can you see me over here doing the happy dance?!! Well I am!! I actually got to make a card today! Shhhh we have to be very quiet because I'm hiding out right now and don't want to be found hee hee! I was hoping (and still might) to make more than one card but for now it's a start! It took me a little while to figure out what I wanted to make :) Even tho I haven't made anything in a while it hasn't stopped me from buying so I've got lots of new goodies to play with!!

For this card, I've used a set from the CTMH Spring/Summer catalog called A1124 A Tree. This is a really cute and affordable stamp set! It's also quick and easy to color! I started out by stamping the tree using our Exclusive Ink in Black (I used it for the sentiment too) and then I colored it in using my copics. You can't tell it in my photo but I went over it using a star dust pen so it's all nice and sparkly in person! I then stamped the butterfly (also included in the set) using the Exclusive Ink in Buttercup. I have to stop here and say how much I LOVE CTMH's Exclusive ink!! I've been working on getting them all and when this next order comes in I won't like but a few that's how much I love them!! Ok...back to the details hee hee! I outlined my butterfly with a fine black tip pen (I think its a Martha Stewart pen I've had it for ages!) I also added little antenna's to each one too. I used my Fiskars punch for the grass. The Chevron background is from the stamp set D1540 "In The Background" and you can find it also in our Spring/Summer catalog.

Thanks for looking and maybe after supper tonight I can sneak back in here and play some more!! Hugs, Leanne
