He's FINALLY here!!!

Hey everyone!!! I'd like to welcome the newest member of the Garner family!! Isn't he BEAUTIFUL!!! At the moment still no name! They have narrowed it down to 3 when I left the hospital so hopefully tomorrow when my peepers open and I call he will have a name!!! He weighed 8 lbs 7 ounces and let me just tell you folks he has STOLEN my heart just as soon as I laid eyes on him! Today "my" baby turned 19! He received the most PRECIOUS gift!! He was also very close to being born the same exact time as my son! He missed it by about 30 minutes!  Everyone is doing GREAT! I'll have more pictures but for now I'm getting ready for bed! I'm WIPED out! It's been a longggg day! Hugs, Leanne

Just a note to brighten your day...

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a FANTASTIC week! I'm super excited today is FINALLY here! Sometime today I will be a grand ma or Mimi hee hee!! It's so hard to believe that "my" baby is having a baby sniff sniff. He turns 19 today also so he's getting a REALLY special Birthday present!!

I just wanted to jump on and share a super quick card with you and when I say super quick I mean SUPER quick hee hee!! I found this patterned paper at Hobby Lobby and as soon as I spotted it I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do (doesn't happen that way often lol) I used the butterfly die that comes in the Chunky Jar Accessories stamp & die set. The sentiment is from a new Close To My Heart set called Card Chatter-Sympathy Occasions. I stamped the sentiment using CTMH ink Gypsy. The color matched PERFECT!! I also used the sentiment that coordinates in the inside. The front reads (it's a little hard to tell in the picture but not in real life) "Just a note to brighten your day..." and the inside reads "and chase the clouds away. Here's a picture from the side...

If you haven't had a chance to check out the new Spring/Summer catalog you should!! It's got some really pretty sets! I actually even have some of them hee hee I've just got to get some time to play with them!!! If you would like to purchase the set I used today or to browse the catalog please visit my website by clicking HERE :) If there is anything I can help you with please feel free to email me!! Have a GREAT day and as soon as I have pictures I'll be back to share!! Hugs, Leanne

MCT 3D Wednesday! Got Eggs?

Hello everyone! Today is 3D Wednesday at My Creative Time and whew I just barely got this one done in time hee hee. It's still been CRAZY around here and crafting time is been very limited :( I will FINALLY get to meet my new grandson tomorrow!!! She is having to be induced so tomorrow is the BIG day!! I will have to get pictures up just as soon as I can to show him off hee hee! I say him because the two knuckle heads are still trying to agree on a name! They stress me out so bad!!! But anyhoo...

I decided to use the Bubble Gum Treat Holder die to make a little Easter project! I just did some trimming on one end of the die to form a bottom for the box. I used my Imagine and the cartridge Elise for my paper. I  used the Stitched Fun Ticket die to make a little background for my Bunny. Speaking of the Bunny, it's also from the newest release, To My Best Peep Stamp and die set. I used PK-757 Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed for his cute little face. The grass is from a Fiskars punch. I used the layering labels from the Chunky Jar Accessories and the sentiment is also from the To My Best Peep Stamp and Die set. I stamped the sentiment using CTMH ink in the color Sky. The blue hemp is from Liz's Paperloft Boutique. I didn't take a picture of the inside but I've added some grass (the kind you put in Easter baskets) and filled it with these chocolate eggs.

Thanks for looking and be sure to head over to Emma's Blog to check out the other ladies 3D projects! They always blow me away with their projects! Have a great day! Hugs, Leanne

Baby Boy Wreath!

Hey peeps! I hope your having a AWESOME weekend! I wanted to jump on real quick and share my baby wreath I made before I head to bed! I made this to hang on the hospital door!

I purchased my wreath from Hobby Lobby and I also got my ribbon there too. I picked up my diapers at Wal-Mart. I bought the Wal-Mart brand in newborn size. They won't be able to use these again since I used hot glue but that's okay these wasn't that expensive. I then took a diaper opened it up, formed it around the wreath and then tied my ribbon. I continued that till the wreath was covered. I used Birthday Bash for the font (it had a shadow). The monkey's are from the Sweetheart cartridge. The pacifier and bottle are from Baby Steps cartridge.

Here's some closer up pictures of my monkey's!

No grand baby as of tonight but maybe tomorrow! I'm soooooo ready for him to make his appearance!! Enjoy the rest of the weekend! Thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

I've used four of the new releases for my card today...Stitched Doily Die, Chunky Jar Dies, Chunky Jar Accessories, and Stitched Button Dies!  Here's a look at the sets...

TOTAL AWESOMENESS Right???!!! Here's a picture of my card from the side...

I've been on a roll buying some embossing folders and slowly getting to use them hee hee. This one is by Sizzix called Beaded Ribbon. I used my Imagine and the Imagine cartridge Elise for the pattern paper. The little branch was left over from my card yesterday where I trimmed the tree down to fit my card. You can't tell it by the photo but I've also cut the chunky jar in acetate to go over the top of the pattern paper. It looks more realistic in real life :) The hemp is from Liz's Paper Loft. I used some silver paper from The Paper Studio for the jar lid and handle.

This is such a AWESOME release and I wished I would have had more projects made to share with you today but don't worry I will definitely be using these A LOT!! Have a AWESOME weekend! We are hoping that our new grand baby will make his arrival this weekend!!! He's due just anytime!
Hugs, Leanne

Hello everyone! First, just let me say THANK YOU soooooo much for not leaving me!!! I know it's been awhile since I've posted any projects and WHEW, I was worried that I would find everyone gone when I started writing up this post!!  THANK YOU for not leaving :)

Welcome to Day 4 of My Creative Time Sneak Peeks! My oh my is this just not the BEST release EVER!! The ladies have absolutely BLEW me away with all their sneaks this week!! Today's peek we are showcasing 3 different sets...Treat Slider Treat Box, You're My Best Peep, & You're My Pot of Gold!  Let me start off by sharing my card using You're My Pot of Gold...

I used my cricut to cut my tree and my Imagine for my pattern paper! I scored two new Imagine cartridges over the weekend ($4.83 EACH!!!) The pattern I used here was from the Elise cartridge. I used PK-297 Kiss Me Leprechaun and colored him with my copics. I used some gold stickles on his collar and the buckles. The sentiment is from this set (You're My Pot of Gold) and it also includes this cute four leaf clover die! I also used a button from the Stitched Button die set (part of the new release) The hemp from Liz's Paper Loft.

Here is a picture from the side :)

Next up is my Treat Slider Treat Box...

I'm soooooo excited about this die!! OMG! Isn't it AWESOME!! I went out and found everything (well not EVERYTHING but close to it hee hee) that would fit and oh my at the possibilities with this die! I thought for today, I would stick with my "St. Patty's Day" theme and fill it with some gold coins! I REALLY wanted the chocolate gold coins that you find around St. Patrick's Day but I guess it's still just a little early they are not out yet here so I used some play coins I found at the Dollar Store! I also used another new die, Stitched Fun Ticket. I absolutely LOVE this die too!! I love that it layers and love the stitching around the edges! The sentiment is from You're My Pot of Gold and the little button is from the Stitched Button die set.

Ok, that's it for me today but I'll be back tomorrow for the hop! Thanks for looking!!
Hugs, Leanne
