I Love Nates ABC!!!

***If your looking for the SSDT Creative Partner Thank You Blog Hop it's below this post***

Good evening everyone! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! It's been gloomy here this week with thunderstorms and lots of rain! Great weather for long naps hee hee and I've had my share of those this week! Can't wait for Mr. Sunshine to come back and if the weathermen are right this weekend I believe he's suppose to make a appearance! Fingers crossed! I got Nate's ABC in the mail this week and OMG! this cartridge is adorable! I really love it and Kate's ABC but since I have a son and I'm a big doggie lover this is probably my favorite of the two! I thumbed thru the book (first thing I ALWAYS do lol) and spotted this cute birdie (you know I'm a HUGE bird lover) and knew this was the first thing I had to cut! Now I know this is a very simple card but for some reason I just didn't want to take away from the diecut so I left it plain! I thought it went well with Emma's stamp set Mom You Rock. A girl at church just had a baby and I thought this would be a cute card for her :) It seems like all my cards are getting plain hope your not going to get bored with them. Sometimes I have the hardest time matching my diecuts up with pattern paper (does anybody else have that problem or is it just me??) Anyhoo, hope you like my simple card! Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your evening!

Oops! I almost forgot I used Peachy Keen Baby Faces for the eye!

Here is my card I made for the hop! To start I used my scor pal and scored my card base. The card measures 5.25 X 5.25. This adorable stamp is La La Land Marci Ballerina and I colored her with my copics. I then used my Grand Calibur to cut the Spellbinders frame and labels 5 to stamp my sentiment on. The sentiment is by My Creative Time, Turn That Frown Upside Down. I used my I-Rock to add some gems above the sentiment. I also took one of the flowers that Stamping Scrapping has designed folded it in half and added a brad. I used the I-Top and some Basic Grey paper to make my brad. The branch is a Martha Stewart punch. The gorgeous paper is Basic Grey! So that's all the details on my card!  I would like now to say thank you to the companies listed above! It's been such a honor and pleasure getting to design with your products! I love each and every one of them! Thanks for looking and be sure to add your link for a chance to win! To start at the beginning of the hop head to Emma’s!  Also, look at the blog list woo hoo we have two very special guests joining us in our hop!! Be sure to leave a comment on each person’s blog because one lucky winner will win all four of her newest stamp sets and she’s even throwing in the exclusive set!! For my card I’m using the new stamp set My One and Only.  This one is super cool and I love, love, love the font! And just look at this banner! Love it to hee hee! Each phrase included in the set will fit inside how neat is that! I used the Sweetheart cartridge for the cute little bride and groom birdies in the nest.  For the bare tree I used the cricut lite Bloom cartridge. I used my Gyspy and way oversized it then just trimmed it to fit my card. I stamped some clouds and highlighted with my cool shadow copic marker. I used my cuttlebug to emboss the birds nest and the tree and then used some Tim Holtz distress ink.  Well my friends that’s it for me so it’s time for you to hop along to Vicky’s blog! Don’t forgot to leave a comment on ALL design team blogs for your chance to win!! Emma will announce the winner on her blog! Thanks for looking now bounce along!!

***I've had alot of people wanting to know the name of the embossing folder I used for the nest and tree and I'm sorry I did not include this in my post (mainly because I forget the names of them hee hee) but for the nest I used the A2 Forest Branches and the tree I used A2 Distress Stripes. Both of these are cuttlebug folders and I think they are both kinda old but you should still be able to get them! Hope this helps and again sorry I didn't add it to my post!!***

You are My Superman!

Hello! I got my Playtime cartridge that I won on Ebay in the mail today!! I couldn’t wait  to play so I made this super quick card using it and Emma’s stamp set You’re My Best Buddy. I had some design paper in mind that I was going to use but instead of getting up and actually pulling out the paper I went ahead and cut this little guy out thinking these colors would work. Well guess what? Nope didn’t go what so ever! Soooo I frantically searched thru my mile high paper stacks and plus the individual sheets I have and didn’t find anything I liked! Does that ever happen to anyone else or just me?? I really like using white backgrounds because you can always make white work hee hee! I stamped a few little clouds and highlighted with my copic marker and now I have me a little sky scene going on haha. The grass is cut from a friskars bordar punch. I have the wide eyed peachy keen set on the way but they haven’t arrived so I used the Princess face assortment. Ha ha not sure if that’s allowed using princess faces on little boys! I’ve seen little boys with long beautiful eyelashes haven’t you?!?! I cut out a word bubble from the Paper Pups cartridge (man I forgot all about this one till I did a search on my Gyspy!) and then stamped my sentiment on it. Last I added a wobble (thank you Nikki!!) to him so he moves back and forth!! Super, super cute!!  Well, I’m off to watch a movie and then to bed! Thanks for looking and be sure to come by tomorrow for a blog hop featuring Emma’s newest releases! Also, we have two very special guest hopping along with us! Can’t tell you who but you don’t want to miss this hop!! Hugs!

Thursday with Emma!

Did everyone get to see Emma's newest releases? OMG!! Can you say AWESOME?!?! For my card I used the new set Fun Borders. I embossed it with white zing embossing powder on black cardstock. The baby is from Baby Steps. This is such adorable cartridge! If you have been on the fence whether to get it or not let me just give a good shove! The balloon actually goes with the toddler I just wanted to use it with this baby!  The bakers twine was give to me by miss Nikki (THANK YOU NIKKI!!!) Be sure to head over to Emma's blog to see what the other design team members created using her newest stamps! Thanks for looking!!

Moms are the Best flowers picked...

Howdy ya'll! Wow! This weekend has been totally GORGEOUS!  Sooooo lovin the warm weather we are having! I'm sure we will still have some more cool days but hopefully the freezing temps are in the past and sunny days are ahead. I'm sooo excited I got some new cartridges this weekend! I sure do wished Provo Craft would slow down a little on their releases. By the time I get to get the ones I want they have released at least a dozen more! I got Kate's ABC, Baby Steps, Campin Critters and Pack Your Bags!! I also won Play Time on Ebay!! Hubs said no more for me the rest of the year but for now I'm happy! Well, other than I still want Nate's ABC, Birthday see I could go on forever!! I luvvvv Kate's ABC there are soooo many cute cuts that it was hard chosing which one to do first! I chose the vase with flowers because I thought it went perfect with Emma's Mom You Rock stamp set! I added some glossy accents to the vase and it's all nice and shiney in real life but it's not showing up in my picture. I also wanted to add a little sparkle so I used stickles for the center of my flowers. I used my Grand Calibur and labels 17 to stamp my sentiment on. The design paper is actually a freebie. I was on facebook and I have Stamp TV on my likes and followed some links they had and happen to run across this paper! I think it goes well and the best part it was FREE hee hee!!!  I used my copic markers to add some shadowing under the vase. Well, that's it for me tonight! It's bedtime and my pillow is calling my name! Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Somebunny Special

Hiya! I hope your having a wonderful weekend. I've got the house all to myself today (love me some peace and quiet lol) I should be outside enjoying this beautiful weather but instead I'm in my craft room playing! I'm just got to give a shout out to my bud Nikki aka ScrappinNavyWife! I totally love everything she does! She's what inspired me for the card I'm sharing with you today. So if you have not been to her blog before you don't know what your missing! Head over there and tell her I said hello and oh yeah be prepared to be blown away! For my card I used a background stamp that I got from Hobby Lobby a long time ago and until now has never been inked that I can remember! I embossed it with Zing white embossing powder. I then used some Tim Holtz distress ink in barn door, wild honey, mustard seed, and scattered straw. I LOVE how this turned out!! I'm totally hooked! Now I just need to find more background stamps and I'll be making my own design paper hee hee I wasn't sure what to do with it when I got finished and since I haven't made any Easter cards I decided a Easter card it should be! The bunny is from the Easter 2010 cartridge. I used my Grand Calibur and the Ribbon Tag Trio to stamp my sentiment on. The sentiment of course is by MyCreativeTime from the Color Me Happy set. I just used a piece of cardstock for my ribbon since I didn't have anything that matched (I need more ribbon lol) For the eye of the bunny I used Peachy Keens baby animal faces. I wished I wasn't so slow! The day is flying by and I still have lots more I wanted to do before my crew gets home! Guess I better get off and get to it! Also, before I go just wanted to remind you I pick my winner for the blog candy tomorrow so if you haven't entered you should do so! Enjoy your weekend!

Oops! Almost forgot! is now offering a Deal of the Day. On the weekends its called Wow Weekend and your able to get the deal for the whole weekend! This weekend the deal is on JustRite Stamps. Click here for more details!

I'm adding this into the Simply Sunday Challenge - Sugar and Spice

Wish Big...

Hello! Woo hoooo I got Emma's new stamps in the mail today and here's a real quickie card I would like to share with you!  I didn't have a whole lot of playing time but I just had to ink at least one of them up! I used  a sentiment from her new set Wow! So Many Candles. Love these! The bird is from Straight From The Nest. Isn't he a cutie? Or maybe I should say she instead of he because of the eyelashes! Either way I love using Peachy Keen stamps hee hee This face is from the Critter set (large). Have you seen all of Emma's newest releases? If not OMG you have got to! I can't wait to play with them all! Thanks for looking and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! The weather here is beautiful FINALLY some sunshine woo hooo!!

Happy Mother’s Day

Hi! I hope that everyone has had a wonderful weekend!  I have a Mother’s Day card I would like to share with you. It’s for our challenge at SSCC. This challenge we are using a sketch that our very own design team member Sheri has designed. I just love sketches! They really help me when I’m in a rut! Now if I could just figure out a quicker way on choosing which papers that I want to use I would be set lol!
I’ve really been obsessed with birds lately! I hope you are not getting tired of seeing them!  I used the 50 States cartridge for this one. I love this cartridge but I do wish the layering was a little different. I cut this out three different times and did some cutting so I could get the tummy to stand out a little more. I also used my copic markers to add some shading. The bird nest is from Create a Critter and I got the eggs off of the From My Kitchen cartridge. I used my Martha Stewart punch for the branches.  I know I’ve said this before but I’ve just got to say it again I LOVE MY GRAND CALIBUR!!! It just makes using your spellbinders dies so much easier! I used the Spellbinders dies Lacy Squares, large squares, scallop circle, classic circle and labels #8 along with the matching Spellbinders stamps Lacey circles and Label Accents. Here is another picture of my card from the side.
And here is a close up of my bird. You can see his eye a little better in this one and that I’ve added some white specks to the eggs with my white jelly roll pen:)
Thanks for looking and also for stopping by to visit! Have a wonderful day!

Pot of Gold….

StPatricksDayTeddyHello everyone! Thanks for stopping by today! I’m super excited to show you a card I’ve made using Miss Emma’s stamp set I Believe in Leprechauns! This svg set is by MyScrapChick and it’s called Lucky Rainbow Bears.  I used Peachy Keen Funshine Face Parts for the little bears face. The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch and embossed with three different cuttlebug folders. The grass is a fiskars punch. Here is a photo from the side.

I added some pop dots underneath the cloud that the sentiment is stamped on. I also did some faux stitching with my black Prisma marker.  I’ve used Colorbox cyan blue to shade the edges of the clouds.  Well, I do believe that covers all the details! I hope you like it! It’s been pouring down raining here so I’m watching for my rainbow and the best part I don’t even have to leave the house to find my pot of gold…it’s all here inside my little home with my wonderful family! Be sure to head to Emma’s to see what my other design team members have made and I’m sure Miss Emma has something amazing to share with us also! Have a great day! As always thanks for stopping by! Big hugs!!

Happy Monday ya'll! We were informed yesterday by the water department that our water would be turned off all day while they work on the water lines (and I sure wished they would hurry up lol) I can't tell you at the times I've went by the sink to wash my hands and then it dongs on me duh the water is off!! It's kinda like when the power goes out flipping the light switch on like it's going to magically turn on! But I am thankful they gave us a warning so I was able to get up (at the crack of dawn mind you) and get showered and beautified for the day! I really needed to clean the house today BUT... since no water = no cleaning! Now I know your probably thinking you really don't need water for dusting but lets just pretend for today k? I went with a better option making a card!! I used my cricut to cut the vases and I know this is horrible but now I can't remember which cartridges I used and I've turned my Gyspy off!! Ugh...I'm pretty sure two of them were off Walk In My Garden and the other one was from PaperDolls cartridge (just don't hold me to that lol) The greenery was from Lyrical Letters (same image just one is flipped) I used several different embossing folders along with my Grand Calibur (love, love, LOVE this machine hee hee) to emboss the vases and then used Tim Holtz distress inks and some gold glimmer mist (that's not showing up in the photo but its all shimmery!) The tag is another one of my favorite dies from the Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio set and along with that I used the Spellbinders matching stamp set Tag Accent. My sentiment is by MyCreative Time the Mom You Rock set. Ugh, while I was typing this up a guy from the water department knocked on my door and the water will be off again tomorrow!! Do they not understand I NEED MY WATER ON!!!! I guess I can look on the bright side no cleaning tomorrow either!! Thanks for looking and don't forget to enter my blog candy!!

Thank you very much!

Hello everyone! Happy hump day! (well what's left of it hee hee) I meant to get this posted earlier but just didn't get around to it! I needed to make a thank you card this week and this is what I came up with! I used Home Decor for the bird and the cricut lite bloom for the branch. I'm really loving the Grand Calibur! It really made this card come together so much quicker! I used Spellbinders lacy squares, classic squares, classic circles and scallop circles and was able to cut them all at one time! I also love the fact as soon as you get thru cutting you can easily go and emboss all at once to! I used the Spellbinders Matching Stamp set Beaded Circles for the sentiment and the border stamp. The bow is from a Hot Off the Press template that I hand cut . I also added a brad to the center and did some faux stitching. The paper is from my scrap bin. I guess that's all for me for tonight! Thanks for stopping by and looking and hope you enjoyed my card!
P.S. I just also noticed while linking my products that the Grand Calibur is back in stock and on sale at and all orders over $75 is free shipping!! Just in case you have one on your wish list this would be a great time to purchase one!!
