CSN Stores

I've been asked to do a review for CSN stores! I'm sooo excited! They carry anything from Pendant Lighting to great cutlery and cute cookware! I've had several of my friends that have done reviews for them in the past and have really given them high praise! Thank you CSN for giving me the chance to try some of your product! I'll be back with my product review just as soon as all the details are worked out!

Movie Night!

Hey everyone! We are doing things a little different now at Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff. Instead of posting on Thursday only we are now being able to post any day of the week or as we get projects done. Lindsay is such a great person to design for! She understands that life sometimes gets in the way of fun stuff and also there’s weeks that your mojo likes to go into hiding lol. She will still offer her freebies on Thursday and on Friday’s she will be doing a recap of all our projects on her blog. You can find a list of links to all my design team members and Lindsay’s blogs on my sidebar so be sure to visit them! Ok, now on to my project!  I want to apologize for my crappy picture :( I could not get the lighting right in my little space I photograph in.  This is much cuter in person and I wished you could see it in real life! I found the movie strip picture frame at Michaels (I believe it cost $2) and thought it would be fun to decorate it all up with Lindsay’s Retro Movie Clip cutting files. They were so fun to cut and piece together! I haven’t added any pictures yet to my frame because to be honest I haven’t gotten any! I don’t know why we have movie nights here alot! We have teenagers in and out (Kyle and his gang)  and one of the things they like to do is rent movies and eat popcorn! So the next time I’m going to sneak out my camera and take some pictures hee hee. Which then I can use these files again to make layouts with cool huh? Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

Make A Wish

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great week! Our challenge at SSCC is to use the color pink and here is what I’ve come up with!  I’ve had the cartridge A Childs Year for a long time and to be honest I’m not sure I’ve ever used it before! I’ve been really trying to use my cricut more and exploring my cartridges. It seems I own several that need the dust knocked off of them lol! But anyway, that is where I got the fairy! Other than my cricut my next love is Spellbinders dies so I used the Spellbinders Nestibility label nine for the chocolate cardstock. I used white zing embossing powder and the Spellbinders Matching stamp set Dash It All for the border (another love lol).  I also used the Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio 2 to stamp my sentiment on using Memento Rich Cocoa ink. I used Emma’s, at MyCreativeTime stamp set Polka Dot Surprise for the sentiment. I didn’t have any ribbon to match so I just cut me a strip of the same chocolate cardstock and ran it thru. I forgot to mention earlier and I know it’s hard to see but on the fairy I did use some stickles! Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend!

Top Of The Mornin’ To You!

Top of the mornin’ to you! Rise and shine it’s going to be a gorgeoussssss day!! Today is Throwback Thursday’s at Emma’s and I’m so excited because this is also my week to show off Emma’s awesome stamps!!  For this card I actually used TWO of her stamp sets My Journaling and I Believe In Leprechauns! The sun, clouds, and 4 leaf clovers are from the Lucky Bear Collection at MyScrapChick.com. For my sun I used Peachy Keen’s Everyday Character Face Assortment (don’t you just think he’s cute peeking out behind that cloud hee hee) .  I also used my cuttlebug and the divine swirl embossing folder to emboss the white cardstock. I outlined the clouds with stickles and also added some stickles to the journaling stamp.  Well, that’s it for me for now! I hope you like it and I hope I showed that you can use the journaling stamps in card making also not just for layouts!  Now head over to Emma’s and see what Emma and the other design team members are going to wow you with!  As always, I wish you a wonderful day and hope that where ever you are there is plenty of sunshine no matter if it’s a cloudy day! Hugs!!

Not sure where this came from or even how long I’ve had it but just tickled that I had something quilled hee hee! I kept my card simple to show it off. I used my scallop and oval nestibilities and the matching stamp set beaded ovals for the border. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from MyCreativeTime stamp set Polka Dot “Surprise”. The pearls are from my stash. Linda will be giving away one of Emma’s (MyCreativeTime) stamp sets so be sure to leave a comment on each person’s blog. Lindsay's Stamp Stuff - Lovey Dovey!

Good morning everyone! I usually have my post up by now for Lindsay's Stamp Stuff but I'm running wayyy late! I have been at the hospital with my father in law the last few days so everything is kinda out of whack around here! I'm having to make this a quick post we may be heading back to the hospital if the roads clear up soon. I guess I failed to mention it snowed again last night!! We didn't get as much in inches but from what I've been reading we had ice underneath so the roads are a bit slicker. For my card I used the cool Vintage Sheet Music Digi paper that is one of Lindsay's freebie she has on her MyGrafico store. I did tweak the coloring some in my photo application. The sentiment is from Emma's stamp set You Had Me At Chocolate (I have used this set soooo much! I absolutely love it hee hee) I used the Spellbiners labels and tag Ribbon Tag Trio2 and the matching stamp set tag accents for the border. The birds were cut from 50 states cartridges and inked with Tim Holtz distress inks. I used my I-rock and crystal gems for the eyes. The branch I am having a hard time right now remembering which cartridge it came from (sorry will try to remember to come back and add it) and the leaves are a Martha Stewart punch. Be sure to head over to Lindsay's blog and see what her and the other girls have made this week! Thanks for looking! If you hadn't seen the blog hop I'm in (the post below this one) be sure to check it out for a chance to win one of Emmas stamp sets!!

Emma's Stamptastic Blog Hop!!

Hi ya'll!! I'm sure most of you know that Emma at MyCreativeTime has released four more stamp sets this past week! We decided now would be a great time to showcase her new stamps and what better way than a blog hop!! That's right our first blog hop!! If you have come from Glora's blog than you are on the right track! Emma is first on the hop so if you happen to get lost along the way be sure just to head back to her blog to start at the beginning!! You don't want to miss any of my fabulous team mates blogs because each one will be offering one of the new release stamp sets up for grabs!! But in order to win you must leave a comment between now and Sunday on EACH design team members blogs. I bet you have already guessed which new stamp set I had the pleasure of working with this week!! Yup, your right Paper Princess!! Love this set! This sentiment fits me so perfectly!! One of the things I seem to stay behind on is laundry! It's never ending around here (I do believe our clothes mulitply as we sleep hee hee) So when I seen this wash tub from the Country Life cartridge I just had to use it with this sentiment!! I used skittles for the soap bubbles and the flowers are from my stash. Now more good news....this is the stamp set (Paper Princess) that I'm giving away today!! Just remember you must leave a comment here and on all the other design team members blogs to be entered in to win! I'm not requiring that you become a follower but if you do I'd love that also!! Thanks for looking and now next up on the hop is Vicky! Happy hopping!!

Here is a list of the blog hop just in case you get lost!!

You Had Me at Chocolate!!

Hello everyone!! It's my turn today to share my project for our Valentine's Day challenge at SSCC.  I made this for my hubby so I kept it pretty simple! The strawberry truffle is a free svg file from SVGCuts.com. I used Spellbinders labels 5 and the Matching stamp set Dash It All for the border. I used Emma's, You Had Me At Chocolate stamp set for the sentiment and my cricut to cut the box from the Love Struck cartridge. Just a little note on the box it did have a heart cut out in the front but I've covered mine up with my label. Now to go hide it so he don't see it!! Thanks for looking!!

Don't Worry Be Happy!

Hello peeps! I hope everyone had a wonderful Monday!  I'm hoping to be a better blogger this week!! I've got 75 of my place cards made and working on the last 25! I took a small break and wanted to share a card using Emma's new stamp set Turn That Frown Upside Down! I received her new releases in the mail today and oh my they are AWESOME!! I just couldn't wait to play with them!! Isn't this froggy cute to! It's a svg file I got from MyScrapChick. I also used the beaded oval nestibility and the matching stamp set for the border around Emma's stamp. The white background is embossed with a Fiskars plate. I also was digging around and found this cute little lady bug so I thought I'd stick him on here to! Thanks for looking and taking the time to stop in! Have a wonderful week!!

Valentines Day Sale, Place cards

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I've been a bad blogger this week! I have started the project I had mentioned in a earlier post and been tied up with that! I'll share a picture in just a sec of one of the things I've started and see what ya think! But for now I want to tell you about Lindsay's Valentine Sweet Sale she has going at her MyGrafico store! As the banner reads it starts today and ends on Sunday with everything 30% off!! So be sure to head over and stock up on all those digis and svg files you have been wanting while the sale is going on!! Also, today is Thursday and Lindsay always has a freebie for you so head to her blog and be sure to download it to!! Now on to part of what I've been working on hee hee!

I've been asked to make some place cards for a wedding rehearsal using a nature/bird theme. This is what I've come up with and I'm in the process of making 100 of these little suckers lol!! I used Spellbinders Nestibility Label 5 in two different sizes and the Matching stamp set Dash It All for the border. I cut the bird from the cricut cartridge 50 States and added a small pearl for the eye. The green branch is a Martha Stewart punch. Let me share a wonderful tip that one of my wonderful design team sisters and friend Diane shared with me today that was such a LIFESAVER!! I was punching along everything going great and all of sudden my darn punch got to where I could barely squeeze it! Well, I started in doing the only thing I knew to do...yelling at it lol!! My husband even came to see what I was so mad about and you know Mr. Know It All swore it was just me! So I handed it to him and guess what as strong as he is, it was doing the same thing with him! Ha! Anyway, I just knew it was trash bound but I got online and sent out a mercy cry and Diane shared this with me and it worked!! She had one to do this also and her son used W-D40 and it made it like a new punch! So, if you ever have a punch that gets to where you just about have to jump up and down on it to get it to punch drag out the W-D40 (which works wonders on so many things lol) just be sure to punch till the oily is gone!! Thanks Diane you saved me from having to purchase a new one!! They also want me to do the invitations and I have made several samples of what they were asking for but till we narrow it down to "the" one I'll wait to show you those! Last, I would like for you to say a special prayer for my son Kyle tonight. He has lost another friend this morning. He passed away in his sleep. So, if you could pray for his family also I would greatly appreciate it. Today has been a really hard day....Thank you!
