Hey everyone!! Here is my card for Lindsay's Stamp & Stuff Thursday! Lindsay has some new stamp sets in her shop this week and this image is from one of her newest sets Tea-riffic. I colored the tea cup with my copic markers and then added glossy accents (had a few goof ups with my glossy accents but thought oh well it gives it character hee hee) I used stickles for the sugar cube and also the sentiment Hey Sugar. I used my nesties for the oval and scallop oval. I then wrapped some twine around and added a button from my stash. I also did some faux (I think thats what you call it) stiching with my copic marker. I used this weeks sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches. Be sure to check out Lindsay's new stamps at MyGrafico and also she will be having a freebie for everyone on her blog that you don't want to miss. Also, don't forget to check out the other DT members blogs to see what they have created for you this week! Thanks for looking!!

Hi! Hope everyone is enjoying thier week. The weather here is BEAUTIFUL!!! My best friend came by today for a visit and we went to grab some lunch. We also went into some local shops just to pass some time. I always have such a great time when we are together. She keeps me laughing the whole time!! It's also like a adventure anytime we are together something always happens!! It's bad when we do plan a day out both our husbands, our mothers call to make sure we behave hee hee!! Anyway, on to my post for today! I almost forgot to post my challenge card for the Bildmalarna Blog (YIKES!!) This challenge was to have embossing and a flower on your card. I used cute little Mimo with roses as my image which you can find here. I also used a Sugar Plum fence stamp you can find here. I wished I could tell you who the paper is by but the cover to my paper stack has vanished and you know how my memory is!! (If I can locate it I will come back and update) I used my copics to color Mimo. I really love my copics I'm soooo happy I was finally able to get some!! I've been in a flower making mood so instead of using one I've purchased I made my own using the scallop circle technique (which I think in one of my older posts I listed how to make these) I added a little gem to the inside and cut the leaves with my cricut using Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. I also used Storybook to cut the top die (I know that's not the correct name but it reminds of the top die!) The sentiment is a Studio G. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder and the Martha Stewart Doily punch for my border. I'm not really pleased with this card except for how I colored Mimo!! Click and make it bigger I think I done better with him than I've done so far!! You can let me know what you think!! I just love these stamps and can't wait till the new Spring ones arrive!! We would love for you to come join in at the Bildmalarna Blog (there's also a chance to win one of these cuties!) So head over and see the other DT members take on this challenge they are awesome!! If your interested in ordering any of these stamps click here! Thanks for looking and be sure to come back I should have some more things to post this week!!! Hugs!!

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a great week! Sorry I haven't posted anything in the last few days. My dad's been in the hospital and didn't get to come home till last night. They treated him for conjestive heart failure and his kidneys have not been working properly. He is doing some better but if you could keep him in your prayers I sure would appreciate it. This week instead of making a card I used LSS Egg Basket SVG file. I've been wanting to create it just as soon as I saw it but this is the first chance I've had. See the little bunny it's also included in this set! The set comes with 9 SVG files *repeat* 9 SVG files how cool is this! Can you believe it's only $3.00 what a deal!!! I cut the egg basket from Prima Watercolor Rainbow Collection (awesome paper). I also cut the bunny (svg file) using SCAL out of some scrap brown cardstock. After this I switched and started using my cricut to cut the grass (Zooballoo) the scallop circle (Mini Monograms) and the circle (George) and lastly Happy Easter (Easter 2010). I used some lace for the sides (that I can't get to lay flat hee hee) I used Martha Stewart glitter around the scallop frame (which is also pop dotted) and the top layer of Happy Easter. The basket cut like a charm and was real easy to assemble! I enjoyed making this and really hope that you like it to! Be sure to visit Lindsays blog tomorrow to see what she and the other design team members have created for you this week! As always thank you so much for looking and have a great rest of the week! Hugs!!

Hey everyone! Thank God it's Friday!!! I hate to rush time but I'm so glad I have this week behind me! Today was a really beautiful day here and tomorrow is suppose to be even better! The weather has really got me in the Spring mood!! It's getting late but I really wanted to post this card before I head to bed. I was in a swap a while back and got tons of images that have been screaming for me to color them! I'm sorry I can't remember who to give credit to for giving me this sweet image of Tilda. I just love the Tilda stamps and wish I had tons more! I colored her with my copics and then added some stickles to sparkle her up some (I don't think I could live without my stickles hee hee) I went thru all my cartridges trying to find something that she could sit on and ran across this bridge on the PaperDolls cartridge. I used some stampin up chalk to bring out the stone. The grass with flowers is from Straight From The Nest. I got this cartridge and haven't had time to play with it and I just had to find something I could cut from it tonight! The clouds are from Zooballoo and the sun is from Doodlecharms. The paper is a piece of scrap that I had in my scrap pile and I thought it would go great for making her look like she was really sitting on a bridge! Well I'm off to bed! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend and as always thanks for looking! Hugs!

Hey folks! Sorry I haven't been posting much. I've had sooo much going on at home that I haven't had time to do much crafting! The plummer came back and I now think we have everything fixed (hopefully). We went and stayed with my parents till he could get here. I just couldn't deal with not being able to take baths and use the bathroom! Things have not been going on so well around here on top of all of the water issues Kyle wrecked my vehicile :( He is truly aging me FAST!!! It didn't total it and he didn't get hurt and I'm thankful for that but it did do damage to my X-Terra. Sooooo needless to say I've also been a little down and out. I'm trying to hold my head up but the way things have been lately I'm just waiting on the next disaster to hit! I was able yesterday to get in my craft room and make this card for LSS. I had some scraps left over from the card I made on the last post so I decided it went perfect with one of the images from Lindsay's Pretty Primative Stamp Set and I also used the circle phrase from the Doodle Flower Set. I used the png files and by using them I was able to put the sunflower w/the little bird inside the circle phrase. I printed it out twice and cut the little bird out so I could raise it up using a pop dot. I colored the image with my copics. I'm not sure if your able to tell in the photo but I did use some stickles to give it some sparkle. I used my nestibilities for the scallop and regular circles. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the border and some ribbon from my stash. Everything is 30% off till midnight tomorrow night at Lindsay's My Grafico and remember for every $5 you spend you get a free stamp! Lindsay is also going to be offering a free stamp on her blog tomorrow so be sure to check that out and also don't forget to see what the other design team members have created this week. Thanks for looking and please bare with me I'm hoping I can get to where I'm posting more! Have a great Thursday! Hugs!!

Good evening to everyone!! We are on a 4th challenge over at the Bildmalarna Blog! This challenge is to use the colors brown, green, & yellow. I used Mimosa on a Bench for my image and I colored with my copic markers (which by the way I love but still have not completely got the hang of them yet!) I used my nestibilities for the oval frame and a Studio G stamp for my sentiment. I added stickles around the frame, heart, and also around the edge of the mat I used under the image. The flower is a prima flower and the button is from my stash. I used the swiss dots embossing folder for the yellow cardstock and for the brown cardstock underneath I used a Martha Stewart punch to make the border. I'm sorry this is not the greatest photo! I could not get the lighting right when I was taking my picture. In real life it seems to be a little brighter! I would really like to take this time to tell everyone or well let me say recommend everyone about the Bildmalarna stamps they are awesome!!! I really love these and they are such great quality stamps. I am so impressed with how crisp the images are when you stamp them. Also, if you visit the Bildmalarna Blog you will get to see a sneak peek of the new stamp club coming out soon! I can't wait and hope I'm able to order them! It contains at least 8 large stamps with Mimosa and Tossa plus 6 smaller stamps. These are all unmounted and the only way to get the smaller stamps is thru the stamp club they will not be for sale afterwards! I encourage you to head to Cindy's shop Stamping Scrapping and order yours today!! Also, keep checking in on the Bildmalarna Blog new inspiration will be posted every couple of days! My card will be up tomorrow so if you get a chance I would appreciate some love here and over on the blog!! Hope everyone has a great weekend! We have a plumber coming out tomorrow so hopefully by Monday we will be back in business!! Hugs!!

Hey everyone! Well, you know in my earlier post today I said that we had our clogging problem fixed now I'm not so sure...I'm washing a load of laundry and water shot up from one of our bathroom sinks! So if I was a betting person I would have to bet we are fixing to be out loads of money :( Well on to a happier note! I wanted to share a picture frame that I altered. I got this for a $1 at Freds. I've always wanted to give it a try and when I ran across this I figured if I mess it up I'm only out a buck! I forgot to add the little metal thing in the middle so that's what is making it look like the glass is away from the paper. I added it a few minutes ago but I'm just to lazy to retake pictures!
I used the cricut to cut the flowers and leaves except the small orange one I used a scallop punch. I cut each flower in different sizes and layered them. The golden one has glimmer mist on it but you can't really tell from the picture. I'm really digging making these flowers they are so cool!!
I also used my cricut to make this little frame and the word love. I added a heart gem just to spice things up a little! This was a really fun project and I'm really pleased how it came out! I made this to go in our bedroom to go on top of our dresser. Now I just need to find some photos to add and I will be set!! Thanks for looking and have a great night! I'm heading to bed and praying real hard that in the morning our little problem will be gone!!! (Pray that for me to pleassseeeee!!)
Hello and happy Thursday!!! I'm running behind again this week on my LSS card (sorry) We have had one pretty crappy week around my house....literally our showers, toilets, sinks all backed up YUCK!! We had to call a plumber in and now everything is properly flowing again!! Anyway, I usually try to have my card ready at least by Wednesday night but I had to get up this morning and do a speedy card!! I used Lindsay's Funky Tree #1 and the bird nest from her Birds & Branches set. Since I was in a hurry I thought this tree would be perfect to do some paper piecing. I printed the stamp out once on white card stock and then again on a piece of My Minds Eye Abby Road. I then just hand cut some more to make the grass and pop dotted the top layer. I used some ribbon from my stash and added the scallop and plain circle with a sentiment from Studio G. Very simple card but I think it kinda turned out cute! Lindsay is also having a 30% sale today thru Sunday so be sure to head on over to her shop and rack up while you can! Be sure to also check out the other DT members projects for this week and Lindsay has a freebie for you to! Thanks for looking and have a great day!!!

Hello everyone!! Hope everyone is having a great week! I'm running behind on posting my card for this weeks LSS. This week I used a flower from Lindsays Doodle Flower Set. I printed three flowers out and colored with my copic markers. I then cut and layered them together to give it some dimension using pop dots. I used my nesties to cut the circle and scallop circle. I used my paisley & swiss dots embossing folders for the background. The little bird and its wing I hand cut using a template from Hot Off the Press. I then used my MS punch for the little branches. I haven't come up with a sentiment yet but will when I decide what I'm using the card for! Be sure to head over and check out what all the other Design team ladies have come up with for this week! Sorry this is a short post but I'm running behind on supper to!!! Thanks for looking and have a great evening!! Hugs!!
