Hey ya'll!! I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday! I've been playing in my scrap room all day today! I wished I could say I've accomplished alot but sadly everything I've touched today has not went so well hee hee! I've had fun anyway. Hubby is gone and Kyle's been watching movies so I've just enjoyed having some playing time! Here is my take on the challenge over at the Bildmalarna Blog. Our challenge this time was to get our Bling on! I used Mimosa sitting as my image. The bench stamp is by SugarPlums. I cut some grass out using my cricut. I also stamped the little bird and embossed with red embossing powder. The sentiment is a Studio G stamp that I also embossed with navy embossing powder. I then added little diamond gems in the centers of some of the flowers on the pattern paper. I also added a row above the image. For more bling I used stickles on her bonnet, sleeves, and pants. Sorry, my bling is not showing up so well in the photo. I would like to congratulate Cindy and Kevin of StampingScrapping.com they are now the North American Distributor for Bildmalarna Stamps!!! Please be sure to check out there online store for these sweet stamps! I have a feeling these will be the next big thing so you want to start your collection now!! Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of the weekend!! Hugs!!

Good day everyone!! Hope you are having a fantastic Friday! I know I am! Our challenge this time on Scrappy Frogs Challenge Blog was to challenge yourself to do something you normally don't do. I have really been wanting to try making a mini album using the toilet tissue roll tubes (don't know the correct name but that's what I've been calling it hee hee) Since I've seen this I have been saving our's for awhile and got a nice supply so I could have plenty in case I really got into making them! This was a real challenge for me working on something this small and making mini albums is something I really struggle with. But I have to say I had a ball and I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out! I didn't write anything down when I was making it so I hope I can remember the supplies I used! On the cover I made this flower using my stamping up scallop punch and added a gem brad (which you can't see in the picture but its there!!). The leaves were punched with my Martha Stewart punch. I used my cricut for the word Family and the little frame but I'm sorry I can't remember which carts I used. I will have to start getting better on remembering this stuff!! Since I've gotten my Gyspy it seems like I don't pay much attention which cart. I'm using I just find what I want and cut!!
This page I wanted to add a picture of me and hubby on our wedding day. I used a template (Hot Off The Press) to hand cut the little file folder. I cut the wedding bands from the Sweethearts cartridge (yay!! I remembered that one hee hee) and embossed with Gold Stampin Up Embossing powder. I added a heart gem for the diamond. The rub on is from K & Co. and the flower is a prima flower.
Here I made a little fold out page. I used a Studio G stamp for the Happy Meter. I cut a heart out and ran it thru backwards so I could add some gold glitter. I then stamped the word love and attached it with some brads then glued in onto the side of the front flap.

Woo Hooo!! Two posts in one day!! I always like days like this! It means I've got to get some playing time in! At the moment I have several projects started (and scattered everywhere!!) so hopefully I will get some more time to finish a few of them up also. I've got some cards designed on my Gyspy if I can ever get the time to cut everything out! Since I don't work you would think I would have all the time in the world to get to craft....NOT!! But when I do I have sooo much fun! My nephews birthday is coming up and I thought I would make him a card. I used my Paper Dolls cart for the little cowboy. The fence is from Old West and the grass is from the Seasonal Easter solutions cart. I used Lindsay's All Around Phrases for my sentiment. I'm sooo proud of myself (patting my back as we speak hee hee) I learned to do something new (well new for me I'm sure everyone else has known how for ages I'm just slow!) I was able to learn how to change the color in my photo application!! Yay me!! (And my blood pressure never went up it was actually really easy) When you purchase Lindsay's file you get the jpg. file and then a png file (this is the one I used and was able to layer them) In my software it gave you a option just to fill with color and bam it changed just like that!!! I was sooo excited! Now that I've figured that out I feel like I could conquer the world!! Lindsay is having a 50% sale on her Valentine, Christmas, Halloween, and Winter SETS till Feburary 22nd. This is in her Shop and also her MyGrafico. This weekend she will be having a 25% off sale on everything (except what is marked 50% off) only at her MyGrafico so be sure not to miss it! Head on over to Lindsay's blog and see what she and all the other DT members came up with this week!! Thanks for looking!! Hugs!!!!
Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great week! We had a nice surprise on Monday...snow!! It came as a complete shock and I know our weatherman felt kind of silly because it was not predicted at all! That's usually when we get the most! We got close to 5 inches and it was sooo pretty! Only problem it was all melted away by the afternoon so we didn't get to admire it for long. Me and hubby (Kyle wouldn't peek his nose out) got the camera out and took some pictures. I've been trying to get a picture of a cardinal for weeks (how pretty would that have been in the snow!) No luck with the cardinal but did get a few of a fat Robin (I think that's the only way I got it, it was to big to move hee hee) Anyway, other than that it's been a pretty normal week! We are on challenge #2 over at the Bildy Blog and it's a Inspiration challenge. Here is my take on it. I used the Bildmalarna stamp Tossa with a mushroom. Isn't she the cutest??? I used my prisma pencils (sniff, sniff still no copics) to color her and then I cut out using my oval nesties. I used my cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder for the white cardstock underneath. I wished I could tell you who the paper is by but this was a scrap I found in my scrap pile. I used a Martha Stewart punch on the blue cardstock. The flower is a prima flower with a brad I made using my I-top. The sentiment is a studio g stamp. Be sure to check out the blog and become a follower new projects are posted every other day or so for inspiration. Also, if you don't own any Bildmalarna stamps head over to Cindy's store Stamping Scrapping and check them out they are sooo cute!! Thanks for looking and be sure to come back later on I'll be posting another card this evening!!
Also thought I would share my picture of the Robin :)

Hey!!! It's been raining what seems like forever and boy is it COLD!!!!! I'm soooo ready for warm weather!!! Our challenge this time on Scrappy Frogs Challenge blog was to alter a mailbox for Valentine's Day. I was the lucky winner of three of these mailboxes that came from target! I received, a pink, red, & white one. This is the red one. I know these were really in last year also but this is my very first one to do! I was able to use a cutfile and that made covering it really easy! I used the Cricut Sweethearts Cartridge for all the cuts. I used some paper by K & Company that I found at Tuesday Mornings sometime last year marked down really cheap. I almost forgot I had it! I've still got to do my other two (hopefully I can get them done before the 14th!) Be sure to head on over to the blog and play along. It doesn't have to come from Target I know the Love Struck cartridge has a mailbox and so does Lindsay! Also, check out all the other DT members they are soooo cute!! Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!!!
