MCT 46th Edition Release Blog Hop!!

Good morning :) Welcome back to MCT's August release blog hop! You should be arriving from Veronica's blog! If you need to start at the beginning of the hop you can do that by going to Emma's blog. Well...today is the day I'm sure you all have been waiting for but a day I'm dreading sniff, sniff. It's been such a blast guest designing for Emma this release! Her releases are never a disappointment and this one is no different! 

Here is the two new sets that I used on my card for today...

Fall Friends

Stitched Squares Inside & Out

 I used several of Emma's products for today's card! I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock from the Stitched Square Inside & Out die set. These adorable little critters, pumpkins, and sentiment come from the new set, Fall Friends. Aren't they adorable?!! I did lots of masking to help make my scene! I used my copics to color the images and ink to sponge my sky. The back layer cardstock is from my stash and NO telling how long I've had it hee hee! The bottom sentiment I made by using the set, Happy Thoughts for the word...Smile. The rest of the sentiment is from the set, Family is Everything. I did a mask and combined two of the sentiments to get this one :) I did get just a little off with the word... We, but hopefully you will think it adds character lol!!

MCT August Release Sneak Peek Day 4!

Good morning! Welcome back to the last day of sneak peeks! I have so enjoyed being part of this release! It's always fun getting to play with Emma's products! This release is so stinkin cute and I'm sure when you see the full reveal you are going to fall in love with it too!

Today's sneak is featuring a new set called Prehistoric Holidays. Just look at this sweet little dino!!! He just melts my heart!! I love how Emma has a coordinating die to fit each image! Makes it super easy and no more fussy cutting! I used the Stitched Retangular Frames & More for the layer I stamped on and also for the background pattern paper. I made my sky and ground by using a sponge dauber and my CTMH ink. I colored my images (all from this new set) with my copic markers. I did add a little wink of stella to the palm tree leaves and also to the dino spots just not sure if you can tell in the photo. I added some foam dots under my dino and also under the top layer for dimension! The sentiments are from this new set! This was a super quick and simple card to make but hopefully you will like it!

MCT August Release Sneak Peek Day 3!

Good morning! Welcome back to day three of My Creative Time's sneak peek week! Isn't this release AWESOME! It's been so fun playing along with Emma and the team this week!

Today we are featuring a new set, Fall Friends! Like all the other sets, this one is also loaded with super cute images, coordinating dies, and lots of great sentiments! For my card, I decided to use this little fox! I just think he's so sweet :) I used the Stitched "Capture" Frame with arrow dies for the frame. The fox, tree stump, leaves, and hearts are from this set we are featuring today. I used my copic markers to color. The scallop strip that I stamped my sentiment on is from the die set, Treat Slider Box. The sentiment is from today's sneak, Fall Friends. The background I made using the Grainy Wood Background stamp. The green polka dot paper is some I had in my stash!

MCT August Release Sneak Peek Day Two!

Good morning peeps! Welcome back to day two of My Creative Time's sneak peeks! I'm so happy that Emma asked me to guest design for this release! It's soooo stinkin cute and has been so fun to play with! 

Today we are sharing a new set called, Too Cute To Spook! It's packed with super cute images, dies and sentiments! I used the cute little mummy that is included to make my card! I also used the new Stitched Squares Inside & Out that we showcased yesterday. I started by stamping the little mummy four times and then used the square die to cut each one out in different positions. I then stamped it one more time and used the coordinated die to cut this one out. The little spider is also from this set and I stamped it on each square and the mummy at the bottom. I used my copics to color and also added a little wink of stella to the spiders. The sentiment is also from this set! I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More for the very back layer and used foam dots to add dimension.

Good morning peeps! I'm so honored to be guest designing for My Creative Time's August release! This release is super cute and was so much fun to play with! The two sets that are being featured today are Fangtastic Day (which is this month's freebie) & Stitched Squares Inside & Out.

For my card, I started by cutting out the frame in the die set, Stitched "Capture" Frame & Arrow set twice. Once in pattern paper and the other one in white to allow me to stamp my images on. Isn't this Dracula sooo stinkin cute?!! Did I mention it was FREE!! Yes, you heard correct FREE to the first 150 shoppers! So don't just walk...RUN and place your order early to be able to get it! I stamped him three times to use as a mask. I then started stamping him randomly to make it look like there were several Dracula's doing a photo shoot lol! I colored each one with my copic markers. I then made another mask using the round circle die from the set, Seasonal Greeting to use as the sun. I used my CTMH ink to sponge the sky and I also used some white ink to go lightly over the whole image to give it a foggy look! The sentiment that is stamped across the moon is from this freebie set, Fangtastic Day! The sentiment stamped on the Stitched Tab Die is from the set, Hello Baby. I used the largest rectangular die from the set, Stitched Rectangular Frames & More on my background paper.

Eeekk Guest Designer For.....

Good morning and wooo hooo it's Friday!! Today is a extra special Friday! Wanna know why?? I'm guest designing for Emma at My Creative Time!! I was super excited to be asked and before I get started with the details of my card let me say a HUGE THANK YOU to Emma for this opportunity!!

I'm also going to say SORRY for neglecting my little blog for sooooo long! I'm so happy that you're here and still following me!!! Thank you for hanging in with me! I felt I needed to step back and away from crafting for awhile. I have to admit I was totally burnt out and when I realized the fun was no longer there I knew it was time for a break! This doesn't mean that I am completely giving it up just taking time to enjoy life right now. Our grandson's are growing so fast and they are keeping us pretty entertained! Instead of staying cooped up in the house, I'm actually getting out and enjoying summer! I feel better than I've felt in years! My best friend and I walk every morning and I go swimming at her house when I can! I could go on and on with what all has occupied my time but I'm sure you are ready to get on with what brought you here...my card!

I got the pleasure of playing with the set, Hello Baby! These little animals are just TO CUTE!!! I used the little onesie die that's included in the set and decided to use it to do my stamping on. I started out with the animals and done those by masking each one as I went. After I had them stamped, I replaced their masks and used the polka dot heart from the set, Puffy Hearts Just For You. I thought it would be fun to add shades to the little animals! I used the ones from the set, Winter Snowman Dies and added glossy accents. The sentiments are from the Hello Baby set :) I cut the onesie again using some fun foam for some dimension. The paper is a older set from Close To My Heart called Baby Cakes. I've been hoarding it and decided it was time I used it lol! I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More on the polka dot background paper. I know it's a super CAS card but I think it turned out really cute and especially for how rusty I am!! I hope you like it!

Isn't it AWESOME!! I just LOVE it! For my card, I wanted to create a scene. I pictured myself flying (which is not going to happen anytime soon hee hee) over the mountains. The mountains are from the Silhouette store. The clouds are from the new Fun Stitched Cloud dies. I used my inks to create the sky :) 

I just want to say thanks again to Emma for letting me guest design! I always have fun playing with her products! Thank you to all that have left me comments this week! Today we are peeking two new sets, Thanks for the Lift & the freebie for this month Enjoy The Little Things. I'm using the new set, Thanks for the Lift for my card today! OMGeeee how cute is this chubby little plane?!!! I've cut it out twice once with cardstock (which I colored with my copics) and again with fun foam. I used the new Fun Stitched Clouds from this release. The background is from the Build A Scripty and Watercolor Background set. I'm loving the sentiments that are included in this new set, Thanks for the Lift!! The fonts are AWESOME!! The frame is from the Silhouette store.

MCT 42nd Edition sneak peek day 3!

Good morning!! Welcome back to day three of sneak peek week! Today is two super fun new sets that I know you are going to LOVE...Fun Stitched Clouds & The Sky is the Limit!

I'm just in love with the new hot air balloon in the new set, The Sky is the Limit! I stamped it first then using the die I cut it out three times. Once in pattern paper, again in kraft cardstock and last, white foam. All my pattern paper for this card is by Doodlebug. Next, I used the new Fun Stitched Cloud dies and placed them around the hot air balloon. The sunburst background is from the Silhouette store. I used one of the Fun Stitched Edges dies for my ground. The sentiment is from the new set, The Sky is the Limit.

MCT 42nd Edition Sneak Peek Day Two!!

Good morning peeps! I'm so excited to be guest designing for My Creative Time this week! I hated that I missed yesterday's sneak but my goodies from Emma decided to take the scenic route lol! I wasn't able to play till late last night and seriously threw this card together! It's totally not my favorite but Emma (bless her) swore to me it wasn't butt ugly hahahaha!

Anyhoo, today's peek is so flipping awesome! If you are into feathers you are going to love this set called Believe in Your Dreams! To start with, I used one of the Stitched Rectangular dies and cut a piece of white card stock. I then arranged three of the feather dies and ran that through my Grand Calibur. I backed that with a piece of pattern paper. I used the coordinating feather stamps and stamped onto the pattern paper. I didn't stamp the feather with the monkey because I didn't want to cover him up hee hee. I then used the paint splatters that is included in the stamp set, Family Is Everything. The sentiment is from this set we are sneaking today :)
