Happy New Year!!

Hello! I know it's a day early but I wanted to share a card I made to ring in the new year! We've got a super WILD night planned and not sure if I will be in any shape to share on New Year's.........NOT!!! Bahahaha did I have you going??!!! We do have plan's but they are about as tamed as you can get! My mother in law is cooking supper for us and then we plan on spending the night playing cards :)

This was a super quick card to make! I used the print feature on my cameo for the fireworks and the Happy New Year 2015. Both of those files came from the Silhouette Store. I outlined the fireworks using my Jellyroll Stardust pen. I also added a few sequins for a little bling. The cityscape is a die I found at Hobby Lobby awhile back and have never had a chance to use it :)

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Happy New Year!! I'll see ya back here tomorrow when I can finally share my BIG news :) :) :)

Hugs, Leanne

A look back in 2014!

Good morning! As the new year is approaching, I thought I would share some of my favorite cards from this past year! It's so hard to believe that this year is coming to a end!

With the new year comes new changes :) I was honored to be on Emma's team for the last four years and have always enjoyed working with her products! Change sometimes is hard but sometimes it also leads to new adventures! I'm excited to get to share my BIG news on the 1st! I'm truly excited and also very honored for this new adventure I will be taking in 2015!! Stay tuned I'm just counting down the days till I can share!!

I think most people I saw shared their top 10 projects of the year but I'm going to bend it with just a few more hee hee! I hope you enjoy looking back with me! In one way or another these projects have touched my heart and I enjoyed making each one! Okay, enough rambling onto my projects!!

Happy New Years to you and your family! See you back here on January 1st!!

SVG Cutting Files Guest Designer!!!

Good morning!! I know I said I was taking a break till the 1st of the year but I wanted to share some exciting news!! SVG Cutting Files recently did a guest design team call and eekkk guess what??!! I was chose for the month of January!! Woooo Hooooo!! I'm super honored and excited! I LOVE Ann's files and look forward to playing with them!

I also wanted to share the card I sent in for my submission :) I used the svg file, Kawaii String of Lights. I just love these bulbs (reminds me of the lights that were on my grandparents tree minus the faces hee hee). Speaking of faces, I used the cute set PK-1357 Sweet of You face assortment to bring these little bulbs to life! I used MCT Boughs of Holly for the background branches. I stamped the branches several different times in length and also using different shades of green ink. I also added some highlights using my white jellyroll pen. The sentiment is from MCT You're Brilliant. I added liquid glass to the bulbs and some red stickles to the berries. Oh and I almost forgot to mention, I used some pop dots underneath the bulbs to add some dimension :)

We are having our Christmas tonight with my son and his family! I'm excited to see my grand-babies open their gifts!! They are both so precious! Like the sentiment I used, my world is brighter with them in it!! Okay, I must get off and start cooking!! Merry Christmas!!

Happy Birthday Kathy!!!

Good morning!! I hope you all are having a GREAT week so far :) I'm just getting in from my MS treatment and running behind on posting my birthday card for Kathy! I'm sure everyone knows who I'm talking about but just in case Kathy is the owner of Peachy Keen Stamps! Yup, those AWESOME face stamps that we all so LOVE!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LADY!! You are so very special to sooooo many people and I hope today is one of your BEST birthday's yet!!

Everyone is surprising her by uploading their cards to The Peachy Place on facebook. I've got mine added there but wanted to share with you here too :)

I'm not sure if the sets I used are still available but for my snowmen I used PK-153 Snow me a Man & PK-149 Happy Snowman w/Label. I colored them both with my copic markers. I added some stardust stickles to add some sparkle. The snowflakes are from the set, PK-148 Snow Gifts. I've added the stickles to the center of these too! The sentiment is from the Snow me a Man set which I listed above :)

I've got one other project scheduled for this Friday but after that I may be taking a small break till after the Holidays :) It's been so crazy around here that I haven't got a lot of crafting time in :( I'm sure everything will get back to normal after Ho Ho comes hee hee!! With the new year around the corner there will be new things happening! I'm excited and can't wait to share my news! Have a GREAT day and if you get the chance head over and wish Kathy a Happy Birthday!!
Hugs, Leanne

MCT Monday Made In Minutes

Good morning! I hope you all had a GREAT weekend! I'm sorry I haven't been around lately it seems like the last few weeks have been super busy! I'm sure it's only going to get worse! I'm still not through with my Christmas shopping ugh!

Today is Made In Minutes Monday over at My Creative Time and trust me I threw this card together so fast! I've been out all day and didn't get home to late! I still have tons to do before I can even think of going to bed so my crafting time was very limited!

I love this little puppy from the set, Christmas Doggy! I think he's so cute! I colored him using my copics. I stamped his Santa hat on a separate piece of cardstock and then hand cut it out. The little antlers are from the set, Oh Deer. I made him a cool dude by adding some glasses from the die set, Winter Snowman. I also used the word dies that are included in the Oh Deer set. I cut those from gold glitter cardstock. The bottom sentiment is from the set, More of My Favorite Sayings. I had my best friend in mind when I was making this! Since we were little she's always been my partner in crime hee hee! I picked up a bag of this snow from Hobby Lobby when they first put out the Christmas crafts. I used some glossy accents to apply it :) The stitched frame was made using the Stitched Rectangular Frames & More set. I have to confess I had this already on my work table and added it last minute lol!

I hated SO BAD that I missed last week's Five Days of Christmas :( Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday! I love making Christmas cards!! This year time is just not on my side :( I do hope soon I will be able to lock myself in my craft room and get some much needed crafty time! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a AWESOME Monday! Hugs, Leanne
