Hello! Welcome back! Today is day four of sneak peeks and boy oh boy are you going to LOVE the sets we are showcasing today! We have two more sets today "Springtime in Paris" & "And Then Some"! I will be showing you a card made with the "Springtime in Paris" set :)

I have a funny to share with you or at least to me I got a chuckle out of it! If you have followed me for a while I'm sure you have noticed I don't use pattern paper very often. I mean it's like really rare! I find it to be so much easier to start out with just a piece of white cardstock and go from there! If I throw pattern paper in the mix for some reason I FREAK hee hee! Anyhoo, I was bound and determined to use patterned paper for this card. I even made a trip to HL thinking a few new pieces of paper "might" spark something! You see the little piece of pattern paper I used on my card? Well, that's about all that's left to that sheet! I whacked that baby up so much trying to come up with something!!!! I managed to save this piece! So see...that's why I don't use it that often it FREAKS me out bahahaha! Okay, now you know the history behind me and pattern paper I'll move along with the details hee hee! If you love Paris or anything Paris related you are going to LOVE this set!!! The Eiffel Tower die is included and let me tell you the cool part! It matches perfectly with the coordinating stamp! No lining up!!! Just stamp it, then position the die over it and cut it out...perfecto!! Can I get a whoop whoop!!! I used a sentiment from this set too!! This set also comes with some decorative flourishes (I guess that's what you call them) and I've stamped them in the corners!

Thanks for stopping by today and I will see you back here tomorrow for our Blog Hop! Hugs, Leanne

I have the same problem with patterned paper. I usually buy several pieces for that reason. You seemed to pull it off on your card. Very pretty and looks like I imagine Paris. Thanks for sharing.

Your crack me up Leanne! lol I can't believe you only had this little piece of pattern paper, but then again, maybe I do know exactly where you are coming from with the pattern paper. lol I have a hard time mixing patterns. And with that said, I love your card! The paper you used is so pretty, but I really love the solid background with the pretty flourishes. And who doesn't love anything to do with Paris?!! Looking forward to seeing what you have made for the blog hop.

Oh My Word Leanne! You said it perfectly about the pattern papers. I have a bit of it and a lot of it is just to bold for me. If I use any it is the faint quiet kind like the stamped flourishes. I love how your card came out. So sad a large sheet of paper came down to this ;) Maybe some can be used for small die cuts or rolled flowers? I do use bold colors in my solid papers but use a lot of white too. Again, great job on your card!

Well your use of the paper really set off this card. Love it - very elegant. Did you add the pink "stamps" used on the paper> Very nice touch of color.

Hee hee! Love your paper story and I commend you for not being drawn to all the pretty patterned paper. In fact, you've inspired me to think outside the box and to try and hold my paper obsession in check. I live in a 500 sq. ft. home so I don't have a lot of storage space for paper. I only buy 6x6 paper pads but buy enough of them and they start to take up space, too. Your card is just so lovely and I'm glad you managed to get a little of that patterned paper onto it.
