Celebrate Christmas Blog Hop!

Good morning all my crafty friends! Welcome to day two of our Celebrate Christmas Blog Hop! You should be arriving from Saundra's Blog (she's also the first stop on our hop!) I'm so glad you could join us!

I had the pleasure of getting to play with July's Stamp Kit of the Month! Talk about cuteness overload this set has it hee hee! If your not familiar with PK's Stamp Kit of the Month here is a LINK that explains it in details!

For my first card, I used the super cute train and Santa waving from the window from the kit. I colored it all with my copic markers and then went back and added stickles to add some sparkle! I used some Liquid Applique to his hat, suit, and wheels. I also used it along with some stickles for the ground. For the sentiment, I used PK-11 November 2012's stamp kit. I thought that sentiment went great with my little scene! The snowflakes are from PK-148 Snow Gifts and I've added some stickles to the center for more sparkle!

For my second card,  I just LOVE these cute little penguins that are in this kit! They just make me smile! I found this little tree with ornaments in the Silhouette store and added Liquid Glass to the ornaments. I also printed my paper using my cameo. I paper pieced the penguins scarf and the band to his ear muffs. I also added some Liquid Applique to the ear muffs and on the ground to look like snow. The sentiment is from the stamp kit. The cute little bow is a die from My Creative Time, called Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow. I used the sprinkles in the stamp kit and stamped them on the bow. I then just added a thin strip of card stock underneath.

Here is a side view of the my card...

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Now it's time to hop on over to Michelle's Blog

Today I will be featuring the new set "Circle Tab Sentiments"!

Can you believe I'm using pattern paper!! Yup, it's been a while! I normally start out with white card stock and go from there! I'm still learning my Cameo and this week I have been playing with the cut and print feature! I've been having fun with some digital paper :) The little girl and boy kissing plus the mistletoe & bow came from the Silhouette store. I used Emma's, Stitched 3x4 Journal die to place them on. I've used the new "Circle Tab die" and the new "Circle Tab Sentiments" for the hearts. Here is a side view of my card...

I've used the banner from the "Vintage Stitched Label die" to stamp by sentiment on. The sentiment is also from this release, "A Fun Variety on the Inside & Out".  Here's the inside sentiment I used to go along with it!

I'm in LOVE with this release! I wished I would have had more projects to share with you but to be honest still not doing so great with my MS, it's been a bad week :( I go to my MS doctor today and just praying really hard he can prescribe something that will help with this pain! Good morning! Welcome to Day Two of MCT Sneak Peeks! Today, I will be featuring two of Emma's new release "A Fun Variety on the Inside & Out" and "Fun Stitched Edge Die". I'm in LOVE with both of these!

I found this cute bald headed Santa in the Silhouette store and have to say every time I look at him I chuckle! I added some twine to his bag and also used Emma's "All Around Holiday stamp and die set" for the presents. I stamped two of the presents using the houndstooth background stamp in the "Build A Banner Kit". I used Liquid Applique for the snow. Now on to the new goodies hee hee! I used two of the dies in the "Fun Stitched Edge Die" set. One is very easy to spot...the scallop edge on both sides of my pattern paper! The other one is a little harder, it's what I used to make my snow that Santa's standing on! I just used it on the top of the white card stock to make my little slope (hope that makes sense)

The sentiment on the front and the one I used on the inside (picture below) are from the new release, "A Fun Variety on the Inside & Out" I LOVE this set!!

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Leanne

MCT Designer Challenge Winter Holiday Tags

Good morning! Today starts a new designer challenge over at My Creative Time! Katie is our host and the challenge is to make a winter tag using Emma's products! I've used Emma's, Tag Dies for my tag. The set comes with two and I've used the one with the scallop bottom. I cut a branch with my cameo and applied Liquid Applique to it for the snow. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the green branches and added more liquid applique to them too. I hand cut two white pieces of card stock to represent the mounds of snow and again added more liquid applique (told ya I love this stuff hee hee) I used Emma's, To My Best Peep stamp and die set for the bunny and for my sentiment. I haven't decided if I'm going to make a gift bag to go with this or just add the tag to the present for my best friends Christmas gift. I guess it will all depend on what I get her hee hee. Anyhoo, I thought that sentiment would be cute :) I've also used one of the buttons from Emma's, Stitched Button dies and tied a bow using hemp. The ribbon (or what ever that is called lol) is from my stash :) I forgot to add that I cut my bunny out with white card stock and then used a sponge dauber and CTMH ink in Chocolate to shade him with. I also added liquid applique to make him a bunny tail! I just love making these little winter scenes so this challenge was really fun! Be sure to play along and link up your tags over on Emma's Blog! Thanks for looking and have a awesome day! Hugs, Leanne

Ho!Ho!Ho! Merry Christmas

Hey ya'll! Happy Hump Day! Brrrrr it's turned cold here! I so dislike cold weather lol! I can tell this winter is going to be a long miserable one every bone in my body is aching! I'm not sure if it's the MS or just old age but I can definitely see me hibernating next several months!!

I have a fun little Christmas card I would like to share with you today! I actually used both the Cricut and Cameo to make this one! The Santa is from the Silhouette store and I've added some Liquid Applique to his hat (just love this stuff hee hee) Instead of using the mustache that came with the file I used a mustache from Emma's, What's Growing On set. The chimney is from the Simply Charmed cartridge (just trimmed it down). The speech bubble is from the Stitched Square Speech Bubble set. The Ho!Ho!Ho! sentiment is from the stamp set Warm Holiday Fun and the Merry Christmas is from Teeny Tag Holidays set.

That's it for me today I'm going to get all bundled up and try to stay warm! See you back here tomorrow with my project for the new Designer Challenge over at My Creative Time! Have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne

Inspire Me Tuesday!

Good morning! Today is Inspire Me Tuesday over at My Creative Time! This challenge is soooo easy and yet again soooo hard!! There are so many crafters that inspire me on a daily basis that it's hard to pick just one! One of my favorite places to get inspiration is Pinterest! I literally can spend hours looking at all the pretty cards, layouts, 3D projects and truth be told recipes!!! Pinterest has helped me gain a few extra pounds hee hee!

Since I don't like taking other's photo's without permission I'm just going to give you a link to what inspired me for this tag! You will have to scroll down, for some reason I couldn't get a direct link to the post with the picture (sorry). Her card really inspired me with the snowman and the frame she used! I knew Emma's snowman and frame would work just perfect! Anyhoo, click HERE to see her beautiful card! Now that I'm all finished, photo taken I wished I would have not made mine so plain! I'm sitting here looking at it thinking of all the things I could have added! Do you ever do that? FYI the card is under the Nov. 7th's post.

I used Emma's Tag Dies for my tag. I then cut Emma's Stitched Postage Frame and stamped the snowman from the It's A Magical Season stamp set. The sentiment is also from that stamp set. I colored the snowman's hat and nose with my copic markers. I then added some Liquid Applique for the snow. I used Emma's, Small Stitched Scallop Bow and added a crystal gem from my stash in the center. The gold ribbon is also from my stash. See this is very plain compared to the link I gave you of my inspiration! I still think it will look nice on a Christmas present!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs, Leanne

Life is Good!

Hey ya'll! Hope your having a great week! Just think ONE more day and it's the weekend :) I'm back with another card I would like to share with you today! I found this cute roller coaster in the Silhouette store. I also was playing around trying to learn how to print and cut! I finally "think" I figured it out! There is just so much the Cameo will do and I've got a lot I need to learn! I also still need to figure out my light box the color in the this photo still is not right but for me on anything it takes baby steps hee hee I still like the pictures better than how they were and if I can figure out how to get the gray gone I will be tickled pink! If anybody has any suggestions please leave them in the comments! Anyhoo, back to my card! I added some stickles to the little seats/cars or whatever you call them lol! The sentiments are from Emma's Life Is Good stamp set. Here is a side view...

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Leanne

MCT Favorite Stamp of the Month!

Hey everyone!! Guess what today is?! Not only is it Emma's Favorite Stamp of the Month it's my Birthday!!! Happy Birthday to me.....Happy Birthday to me....Happy Birthhhhdayyyyy dear meeee Happy Birthday to me!! Not only is today my Birthday it's my husband's Birthday too! Yup, we both have the same Birthday (he's one year older than me) isn't that cool?!!

Okay, back down to business lol...this month Emma has chose two of her stamp sets Piles of Smiles and Mixed Holiday Sentiments for her Favorite Stamp of the Month. Each month she likes to focus on past stamp sets and revisit them!  I got some more good news! If you order either of these sets (or both) you get free shipping until November 15th!

I found this cute silhouette in the Silhouette store. The sentiment is from the Piles of Smiles stamp set. The little tulip she has in her hand is from the Just A Little Note to Say. The little hearts are from the My One and Only stamp set. I also used a embossing folder by Paper Studio called Doodle Frame. I used my Scor Pal  to make the lines above and below the silhouette. I also used a copic marker to highlight around the silhouette.

Thanks for looking and have a Happy Hump Day! Hugs, Leanne

MCT Tag It Tuesday!

Good morning! Welcome to Tag-It Tuesday over at My Creative Time! I have a tag I would like to share with you today using Emma's Tag Dies. This set of dies come with two different tags to chose from and I used the one with the scallop edge at the bottom. To start off with, I cut my tag out using white card stock (which if you followed me for awhile that is probably not a shocker hee hee). It seems like in anything I make I use a white background to get me started! Anyhoo, I then used a file from the Silhouette store #49657. The file had some other cuts like hay and a fence but I didn't want to use them. It was the little crow that I fell in love with and thought he would look cute just perched up on the sign! For the sentiments I used the stamp set Piles of Smiles. I used some Black Striped Grosgrain ribbon from Close To My Heart and tied a bow using some Natural Hemp also from Close To My Heart.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne

Happy Holidays!

Hey ya'll! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'm back with another Christmas card I want to share with you! I think I'm stuck in these scene cards so please forgive me hee hee! I just have so much fun making them!

For my card, I've used the tree stamp from the Workshop On the Go Frosted Cardmaking Kit. I stamped the trees using CTMH ink, Ponderosa Pine. I've also added CTMH Prisma Glitter (you can tell in more in the bottom photo) to add some sparkle. I cut the deer and his bow using my Cameo and a svg file. I created my snow banks by hand cutting a piece of card stock and then using a sponge dauber and the ink color Sky. Oops forgot to mention when I cut my deer I cut him using white card stock then used the ink in Chocolate to shade him with. I think he came out more life like don't you?! The sentiment is from CTMH Holiday Tag set. I stamped it using the Ponderosa Pine also.

Thanks for stopping by! If you are interested in any of the products I used on my card today head over to my CTMH website by clicking HERE! If you spend $50 in product you qualify for the Stamp Of The Month! Here's a picture of it...

Glory to God!

Happy Friday ya'll! Did you all get spooked last night?!! It's one more Holiday that we have behind us now which means it's getting closer to Christmas! Of course, there is Thanksgiving but my mojo (as far as crafting) has focused on Christmas! I think Christmas by far is my favorite Holiday for making cards! It really puts me in the Christmas spirit and well it just makes me happy!

Today I want to share with you a card I made using CTMH's Glory To God stamp set. When I look at this stamp set I can't help to start humming (since I've been told my singing can sometimes ruin a song bahahaha) Silent Night! I started out by creating a mask using a square nestibility die. I used a sponge dauber and Tim Holtz pumice stone distress ink. I think that color is nice for a night time effect. For the ground, I used CTMH Bamboo. I removed the mask and then stamped the wise men and the sentiment with CTMH Archival Black ink. I used CTMH Honey to stamp the star. This was a pretty fast card to make but I love the results! I love the silhouettes on this stamp set they make such a great impact on a card!

If your interested in becoming a CTMH consultant be sure to contact me. Remember you get a FREE Artiste cartridge! I would love to have you on my team! If you would like to earn free product and host a online gathering be sure to email me! It's a great way to get the items on your wish list for FREE!  If you would like to purchase the stamp set I used on my card today CLICK HERE. If you would like to start building your CTMH ink collection (which I LOVE their ink) CLICK HERE! If you spend $50 in CTMH product (before taxes) you qualify for November's Stamp of the Month...

As always thank you soooo much for stopping by! I love getting feedback so if you have any suggestions or requests please let me know! I'm here to help you in any way I can! Hugs, Leanne
