MCT Designers Challenge!

Good morning and Happy Halloween! It's suppose to be a nasty day here today with rain and thunder storms :( I know there will be lots of little trick or treaters really disappointed! Our church does the Trunk or Treat which is normally outside but they have already planned to move it because of the weather. They may all be little drowned rats by the time they make it inside but they will at least get some candy hee hee! For me, I'm more worried about getting Jayden & Karsyn's picture taken in their costumes!

Today our sweet Miss Glora is hosting our Designer Challenge at My Creative Time. The challenge is to make anything you like using a Thanksgiving theme and MCT products! Such a fun challenge and we hope you will play along with us!

For my Thanksgiving project, I found this cute little turkey treat box in the Silhouette store and decided to dress him up a little using Emma's products! I started first my using PK-755 Critter Faces instead of using the face that came with the file. I added Liquid Glass to his eyes and his gobbler (is that what you call that thing hee hee) and added some blush using chalk. I then used Emma's Scallop Stitched Rosette die for his tail. You know I've mentioned before how much I lovvvvveeeee Emma's Medium Stitched Scalloped Bow die so yup this Turkey gets a bow too lol!! The pilgrim hat is another svg file from the Silhouette store. Here's a picture from the side...

The first picture didn't show but I also used Emma's, Scallop and Stitched Circle die to stamp my sentiment on. The sentiment is from the All Around Everything stamp set. I have a small bag of candy corn inside but  you can't see it either so I spread some around my box!

I got my light box in!!! I'm pretty sure once I figure out where to add my lights and get my camera settings right I'm going to LOVE it!! I'm really proud of it! No more worrying if the sun is shining or if it's night time!!

Again, I want to wish you all a Happy Halloween! I hope the weather will be better in your neck of the woods! Have fun Trick or Treating and thanks for stopping by! Be sure to play along with us!
Hugs, Leanne

Celebrate The Season

Good morning peeps! Happy Hump Day! I'm back with another Christmas card to share with you today! I just LOVE the way this one came out and I normally don't say that! I'm usually my WORST critic and question everything! This one came out exactly how I envisioned it and trust me that is so rare! It just makes me smile :)

You know how I love trees so I've pretty much have every tree stamp CTMH sales! These trees are from the Frosted Workshop on the Go Cardmaking kit. This kit is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love the stamp set that is included and the paper is so pretty (so pretty that I've been hoarding it and scared to cut it up) Is anybody else like that?!! This kit has enough material to make 15 cards 5 each of 3 designs or if your like me make up your on designs! It's a great deal and a way to really get a jump start on your Christmas cards! Anyhoo, I stamped the trees using CTMH Exclusive ink in Topiary. I sponged the sky with a Sponge Dauber using another of our Exclusive ink, Sky. I've added Liquid Applique for the snow but this time I didn't heat it with my heat gun I just let it dry. Aren't these little bunnies so cute! The bigger bunny is from My Creative Time's, To My Best Peep. I've added Liquid Applique for his little bunny tail. The smaller bunny is from My Creative Time's, All Around Holidays set. I cut them out in white cardstock then inked them using CTMH ink in Chocolate. The sentiment and star is from CTMH's stamp set, Glory To God. I used the color Honey to stamp the star and Chocolate to stamp the sentiment. I hand cut the snow banks and inked them using the color Sky. This is probably one of my favorite cards I've made in along time! Again, I normally don't say things like that but I'm patting myself on the back for this one lol!

Just a reminder if your interested in becoming a Consultant please contact me on how you can get a FREE Artiste cartridge! Warm Holiday Wishes

Hello all my crafty friends! Looks like I've went straight from Halloween cards into making Christmas cards! I wished I could get the lighting right on my pictures it's really driving me crazy! I've ordered a light box (which should be in today) and keeping my fingers crossed it's the answer to my prayers lol!!

Anyhoo, I have a card to share with you today using the Campin Critters cartridge. This deer is the one that is holding the fishing pole with the fish. I just cut the fish and line off and hand cut a marsh mellow. I've added some googly eyes to him. I also added some red stickles to his nose (he's Rudolph the red nose reindeer hee hee) I also added some stickles to the fire too. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's, Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set. The snowflakes is from the new Holidays From the Heart gift guide, Santa Claus. By the way have you had a chance to look through this gift guide yet?? If not, CLICK HERE I just LOVE everything in this guide! I've got to get some time and start showing you how awesome these stamps are and the paper line is soooo pretty! I'm still offering a FREE Artiste cartridge for anyone that signs up to become a Consultant! Click Here if your interested! If you have any questions please feel to contact me! Also, I was still wanting to do a Mystery Hostess club (need six people) Email me if your interested and I'll give you all the details. Just looking for ways to grow my business and need some feedback on things you might be interested in! Don't be scared to suggest anything I'm all ears!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a GREAT Tuesday! Big Hugs, Leanne

Scrapping The Little Things

Happy Monday ya'll! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and your Monday is off to a great start! Today is Scrapping the Little Things over at My Creative Time and don't faint I have two smash pages I want to share with you! I freak out every time it's my turn for this day! I don't know why because once I get started I enjoy it! I think it's the getting started part that freaks me out lol!!

I decided to smash a few photo's from our Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge trip we took back in September. Just a little of the highlights of things we did while we were there. This first page I kept it simple and wanted to do my journaling on this side since my photo's were small. I used My Creative Time's, Stitched 3x4 Journal die and the Journal It stamp set. On the bottom one, I used the Stitched Tab die and stamped a sentiment from the Cherish This Moment stamp set. The banner is a die from the Stitched Party die set. I also used the stamp set, You Are Here for the little silverware and the sentiment Let's Eat. I can't even begin to tell you how hard we laughed at Dick's Last Resort! If you haven't eaten at one you need to!

For the second page, we ate at the Dixie Stampede. We have been to the Smoky Mountains so many times and always wanted to go but it just never worked out so this time I was determined to see this show! I'm so glad we finally got too it was a amazing show and the food was awesome! We even got a mugshot hee hee! I used the Stitched Tab die again and another sentiment from the Cherish This Moment stamp set. Since the show had lots to do with horses I had to add one to my page somewhere! I used the cartridge Yee Haw for my horse. I used the 3x3 Fancy Envelope to hold our ticket stubs. I tied a piece of hemp around it and also used a star from the Stitched Button dies. The sentiment in between the two smaller pictures is also from the Cherish This Moment stamp set.

Even if we didn't get to stay as long as we had planned for the trip it was fun getting away and VERY MUCH needed lol! I've got a few more pictures I've got to get printed that I will add to the envelope and these two pages will be finished! Now that I'm finished and no longer freaking out over it I'm glad I was pushed to get r done (in my Larry the cable guys voice) Thanks for looking and I hope you have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne

Hey ya'll! Today is day two of our Halloween Hustle week at My Creative Time. I sure hope you are enjoying it as much as I am! I LOVED seeing what the other Design Team ladies did yesterday and super excited to see today's projects too!

I have another fun card to share with you today (well, I thought it was fun making it hee hee) It measures 5x7 so it's a little bigger than I normally make and it's also a side folding card. I got this file from the Silhouette store (design #48571) I went a little crazy with the faux stitching but I felt like it needed something to "spruce" it up a little lol! I also added some green stickles to his eyes and also to the leaf of the pumpkin. I used My Creative Time's, Fright Night for the sentiment and the bats.

Thanks for looking and I'll see you back here tomorrow with another Halloween project! Have a GREAT day! Hugs, Leanne

Halloween Hustle Week Day One!

Welcome to our 5 days of "Halloween Hustle"! Good morning ya'll! Welcome to day one of Halloween Hustle week! This week Emma and the Design Team will be sharing a Halloween project each day! This should give you lots of inspiration for those last minute Halloween projects for all your little Trick or Treaters! This week is going to be LOTS of fun and prizes all week long!

I've just recently added my cards to a little shop locally in town and needed to add a few more Halloween cards so this week I've mainly focused on cards I can add there. I also want to apologize for my picture. I've had to take this one inside and it was hard getting my lighting right.  I've been complaining for over a year about the lighting in my room and FINALLY I think my hubby has a solution! I'll have to keep you updated on that one but I sure have my fingers crossed it will work!

Anyhoo, for my card today I've used a svg file from the Silhouette store. I just thought this Dracula was so cute and I've been wanting to cut him for awhile! He's also all decked out with Emma's Medium Stitched Scalloped Bow Tie! I'm just in love with this die and don't be surprised if you don't see it again this week! I do believe now everything needs a bow tie hee hee! The sentiment is from a older set, All Around Halloween and I heat embossed it.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have enjoyed my Halloween card :) See you back here tomorrow! Hugs, Leanne

I have a fun little Christmas card I want to share with you today! I got this file from the Silhouette Store it's design #49565 for those of you that might want it too! It was super easy to make just kinda hard to photograph!  Here is my card when you first open it up....

I used the new All Around Holiday set for the sentiment. I love that this set has the little dies that fits right in the middle! The little tree in the center is part of this set. Isn't it cute! I also love that she made this set to coordinate with the Scallop and Stitched Circle die! It looks like it's time now to be dusting those dies off and putting them to use!

Here's a picture of the other side ...

I've added CTMH Liquid Applique for the snow. I applied it and then heated just a little way with my heat tool then smeared it around with my finger. I also added just a little bit to the trees. This stuff is awesome for snow lol!

MCT Sneak Peek Day 4!! I'm Late!!!

Howdy peeps! Have you ever heard the expression better late than never?? Well, I'm definitely running behind today and apologize! Today is our last sneak peek and we are showcasing the new Scallop Stitched Envelope die! This envelope coordinates with the Stitched 3x4 Journal die and I absolutely LOVE it!

Okay, I had to break down and use my tree stamp from the CTMH Always Grateful stamp set. I know I've said this in several of my posts but I'm such a sucker for tree's and this set is by far one of my favorite tree sets I own! I had this little scene created in my head and couldn't shake it till I made it hee hee! I started out by using my CTMH Exclusive ink in Slate, Sunset, and Honey and created my background. The grass I used CTMH ink in Sweet Leaf and Pear. I then stamped two of my trees using black ink and the one in the middle using Slate (I wished I would have stamped this one in black to it's not showing up as well) I then used Autumn Terracotta to give them the Fall color. The little Dracula boy is a svg file from the Silhouette Store. I used the stamp set Fright Night for the sentiment and the bats. Here is a closer look of my card...

Here is a closer picture of my envelope :)

I just love this envelope! Emma has a awesome video on different ways you can make it so be sure to watch it! Also, the sneak peeks on Emma's blog today are all AMAZING so be sure to check those out as well! Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your day! Hugs, Leanne

MCT 27th Edition Sneak Peek Day 3!

Good morning! It's day three of My Creative Time's Sneak Peek week and also one day closer to release day!! Yay!! Today's peek we are showcasing two new die sets "Small Bow die" and "Medium Bow die"! I've got to say I'm over the moon excited about these dies! As soon as I saw them I let out a HUGE squeal (I'm sure if you listened hard enough you would have heard it hee hee) Everything just might have a bow on it from here on out!

For my card, I used a svg file from the Silhouette Store for my reindeer. I promise I still love my cricut and haven't forgot about it but trying to use up my credit before it expires (I don't like that it does that by the way) Anyhoo, I'm not sure if you've ever seen a reindeer with a bow tie but I decided this little fellow needed one lol! I also used the Build A Chevy Background set for the chevron stripes. The sentiment is from the Chocolate Greetings stamp set. Not a lot of details to share since it's a very simple and quick card but it's one that would be great if you had to make a lot of!

Are you getting excited for the release?! I sure hope so! Emma has outdid herself again (but I'm sure that doesn't surprise anyone she's amazing!!) Well, that's a wrap for me today but you will see me back tomorrow with another sneak peek! Enjoy your Wednesday! It's hump day!! Hugs, Leanne

MCT 27th Edition Sneak Peek Day Two!

Happy Tuesday ya'll and welcome to day two of My Creative Time Sneak Peeks! It's definitely feeling like Fall in my neck of the woods. The mornings and nights have gotten a lot cooler! I guess I shouldn't complain I know there are places that are already seeing snow and not just a little I mean a lot of snow! Snow is beautiful but for me seeing it in pictures and on tv suits me just fine!

Today we will be showcasing a new stamp set "All Around Holidays" and a new Rosette die! I have a super quick and easy Halloween card to share using them both! The Witch Silhouette is from the Silhouette Store. I used the Scallop & Stitched Circle dies to stamp the sentiment on (yup, she made sure they fit these dies so be sure to get ready to dust these off your going to love this set!) Isn't that little pumpkin cute?!! Eeekkk!!! Emma has included little dies for different Holidays in the All Around Holiday set too!!! Sweeettt!!! I just had to add a little smiley face to him and that came from the "Things I Love" set.

That's it for me today but I'll be back with another sneak tomorrow (just FYI your going to LOVE tomorrows sneaks to hee hee) This release got you drooling yet?!! MCT Sneak Peek Day One!

Hey ya'll and good morning!! Today is our first sneak peek day over at My Creative Time! Emma has came out with another awesome release that is going to have you drooling again hee hee! Today we are showcasing three different sets: "Build A Postcard", "Postcard Add-on's", and "Holiday Tickets".  Making these little post cards can be addictive so be warned now!!

For my postcard, I've used the Stitched 3x4 Journal die. To be honest, I actually meant to use the Stitched 4x6 Journal die but didn't realize I had goofed till I had was finished (I'm such a dork!) So anyhoo, just a FYI you can make postcards 3x4 bahahaha! For my background sky, I've used the Stitched Cartoon Cloud die as a template and sponged around it using a sponge dauber and my CTMH ink in the color Sky. The sentiment "Autumn Greeting", wagon, and pumpkin are all from the Piles of Smiles stamp set. I've stamped the sentiment with CTMH ink in Chocolate and then used my sponge dauber again for the ground and around the edges of the card. The rest of the stamped images are from this new release Build A Postcard and Postcard Add-on's. I had such a fun time making my postcard! I think these would also be awesome for project life or to add to a layout!

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you back here tomorrow with more sneaks! Have a AWESOME day!
Hugs, Leanne

Good morning peeps! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! I was hoping to get to play yesterday (being that it was World Card Making day) but hubs had different plans and I wasn't home till late! I did manage to finish up a card I had started and thought I would join in on the Timeless Twine challenge

My snowglobe is a svg file from the Silhouette Store. I've also used a CTMH stamp set, Flakey Friends for the snowman and sentiments. It's hard to tell in the photo, but I randomly stamped some snowflakes around the snowman. The snowflake stamp I used was from the CTMH Polar Bear Holiday. I paper pieced the scarf and hat on the snowman using some scraps from my stash. I also used some Liquid Applique for the snowballs and at the bottom of the snowman. Another thing hard to notice in my picture (sorry) is I've added Liquid Glass to the entire globe!

If you would like to purchase any of the stamp sets I've used for my card today please head over to my CTMH online website by clicking HERE! If any questions please feel free to contact me! I'm here to help you in any way I can! Thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

MCT Designer Challenge

Hello! Welcome to My Creative Time's Designer challenge! Our host this time is the talented Cindy! She's challenged us to make anything using a pumpkin (or in my case something that reminds us of a pumpkin hee hee)

For my card, I've used several different cartridges Frightful Affair, CTMH Artbooking, and Trick or Treat. The Jack O Lantern bag is from the Trick or Treat cartridge. I can't believe I forgot all about owning this cartridge! The candy pieces are from the CTMH Artbooking cartridge. The tombstone, moon, and cat scene are from the cartridge Frightful Affair. I used a Fiskars border punch for the grass. The Happy Fright Sentiment and the bats are from MCT's Fright Night set. The little spider and web are from one of her older (but goody) sets, All Around Halloween.

Be sure to head over to Emma's Blog to see what she and the other Ladies have made for the challenge! I'm sure they are ALL going to be A-Mazing! I'm so blessed to be on a team with such talented Ladies! Be sure to link up and play along with us! Thanks for looking! Have a super duper great day! Hugs, Leanne

May Your Days Be Merry & Bright

Happy Hump day! I've been without internet since Monday and boy have I been lost without it! AT&T just left and I practically shoved him out the door to get online (well just as soon as I made sure the problem was fixed bahahaha) I'm so glad to have it back :)

I want to share two cards I made using the Frosted Workshop on the Go CardMaking kit. I haven't dove into the gorgeous papers yet. I'm still trying to decide if I want to go by the instructions and create the cards that way or play around using my own ideas! Decisions, decisions...If you haven't heard of our Workshops on the Go you really should! These kits are awesome and a great bargain too! It comes with enough materials and accessories to create 15 cards (5 of each one)! Only just a few basic tools are needed that you probably already have (ink, stamp blocks, etc) Here's what's included in this workshop, Frosted....

Included in the kit:
1 – My Acrylix® Frosted Cardmaking Workshop Stamp Set (D-size)
2 – Frosted B&T Duos® Papers
5 – Cardstock Sheets (2 Colonial White, 1 Kraft, 1 Olive, 1 Ruby)
15 – Colonial White Cards & Envelopes
1 – Champagne, Colonial White, & Silver Baker's Twine (10 yards)
1 – Silver Glitter Gems (108)
1 – Instructional Brochure

You get ALL of this for $24.95!!  It's a great way to get started on your Christmas cards too! Okay, nuff about that lets get on to the details of my cards! Both of these are like super quick and easy! These would be easy to duplicate and whip out really quick! For the card above, I've used the stamp set that's included in the kit. I started by stamping the sentiment in the middle using our Exclusive ink in Cranberry. I then stamped it again on some cardstock (to use as a mask). Next, I stamped the trees on both sides of the sentiment using, Sweet Leaf. I left my mask on then stamped the snowflakes randomly using Sky ink. I used Bamboo for the border stamp across the bottom. See hee hee easy peasy!

Now onto my second card...

This one was even easier than the first one! I stamped the sentiment in the middle. I used my mask again and randomly stamped snowflakes! I used the same inks/colors as I did on the first card. Another super easy peasy card!! I hope they weren't two simple for you! I'm just a simple kinda gal :)

I really hope you take the time to check out this WorkShop On The Go! I think you would really love it! If there's any questions or you need any help be sure to let me know! I'm here for you anytime! Thanks for looking and I'll see you back here tomorrow with a project for this weeks MCT Designer Challenge (it's a fun one!) Also, next week is our Sneak Peek week and wowzers it's AWESOME!!
Hugs, Leanne
