Farewell Blog Hop!

"Welcome to our "Farewell Blog Hop"! We are doing this hop to HONOR & send off our "Current design team" in a fun way. Since all of us have become friends, we are doing our LAST blog hop together making it a "Friendship"  theme.  I hope all of "YOU" thoroughly enjoyed this team as much as we did! Since this is a special day, there will be a giveaway at EACH STOP! Yep, that means we are having a total of 19 giveaways! All you have to do is leave your comments in order to qualify! Emma will announce all the winners on Monday, 12/23//2013 on here blog! Here is what I am giving away today:

*You should be arriving here from Kim's Blog*

Good morning! I'm glad you could stop by for our farewell hop! I don't know if I can find the right words to describe what a HONOR and BLESSING being on this design team has been to me! I'm honored that Emma has let me be part of this journey with her from the beginning and I've sooooo enjoyed it every step of the way! I also mentioned that I was blessed and oh how true that is! Not only has Emma put together a AWESOME group of ladies as a design team she also not knowing formed a FAMILY! I not only think of these ladies as "boss" and design team members I think of them as sisters! We have been each other's support group, cheerleader, and whatever else the person was needing at the time! We truly have a bond and friendship that I don't think will ever be broken! I can't say THANK YOU enough for being with me through so many ups and downs in my life! To Emma and my MCT family I love you all so much!

Okay, I guess I should get on with the details of my card (if I can wipe the tears from my eyes to see hee hee) I found this cartoon dog in the Silhouette store and been wanting to use him for a while! He was super fun to put together! I added some liquid applique to his Santa hat and the cuffs of his sleeves. The paper I printed using my Cameo. It's by Carta Bella, so this is Christmas paper pack. For the sentiment, I used Emma's, Classy & Fabulous stamp set.

For in the inside of my card, I used the Merry Christmas from the Fun Variety on the Inside & Out set. The little stocking with bones is part of the cartoon dog svg file I just added it to the inside :)

I want to say THANK YOU to all of you too for always leaving such sweet comments and visiting my blog! Don't fret! I will continue to use Emma's products so be sure to come back and visit!!

Now on to a even more sadder (if that's a word lol) note.  For those of you that have followed my blog for a while know that my dad has had Alzheimer's Disease. On December 9th, he passed away :( I miss him terribly but I know that he his now home with his heavenly father. I loved him so much but God loves him more and he is at peace :) I've decided to take a break from my blog till after the Holidays. This Christmas is going to be hard and starting the New Year without him is going to be strange so I just need some time to start healing and to spend even more time with my mom. I know you will understand! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's! Big hugs to you ALL!! Leanne

Well here we are, it's the last day of our five days of Christmas sniff, sniff. It's been such a fun week and I hope you have had plenty of inspiration from Emma, the design team, and me! I know I've enjoyed jumping up each morning to see what those talented ladies created! It's hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner it seems like yesterday I was still in shorts and flip flops (by the way I sure miss those lol)

Anyhoo, I guess you wished I would quit rambling and just get on with the details! I've been finding some of the cutest svg files in the Silhouette store! I don't think I will get them all cut before Christmas! This cute little deer and the tree are both from there (separate files) I added some more liquid applique to the tree and also around the ground for the snow (told ya I LOVE this stuff hahaha) I used a punch for the snowflakes. The sentiment is from Emma's set, It's A Magical Season.

I sure hope I didn't disappoint you this week! I know I've made nothing but cards. I think I have enough Christmas cards to send one to everyone in my little town hee hee. I can't help it! I just love making them and especially this time of the year! I do put them in a little shop here in town so hopefully they will all sale!

Thanks so much for all the sweet comments everyone has left this week! You don't know how much they brighten my day! Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Leanne

Wow! I can't believe we are already on day four! This week is really passing by FAST!  I know for me it's been a blast and I hope the same for you! Today, I have another quick card to share with you! I used the print and cut feature again with my cameo (I think I'm getting addicted HELP!!) The paper is by Basic Grey. The silhouette carolers and the trees are from the Silhouette store. I used Emma's, Stitched Fun Ticket die to stamp my sentiment on. These dies layer but this time I decided to only use the bigger one. The sentiment is from the set, A Day In December that Emma released for Black Friday. I used some pop dots to add some dimension. Lastly, I added some Liquid Applique to the trees and at the bottom of the Carolers.

Well, that's it for me today :) I'll be back tomorrow for our final day of Five Days of Christmas (sniff, sniff lol) Hope you have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne

Christmas is absolutely my favorite Holiday and especially when it comes to crafting! I LOVE making cards! It just seems like the ideas are endless and come to me so much easier than the other Holidays. For today's card, I've used some svg's from the Silhouette store. The penguin and the sledding tube are two separate files but I thought they would be cute together! Doesn't he look like he's having fun?!! For the tree's, I've used the stamp set from CTMH's Workshop On the Go Frosted Cardmaking Kit. I've also used some Liquid Applique for the snow and his hat. The sentiment is from Emma's, From Our Family To Yours stamp set.

That's it for me today! I hope I have inspired you in some way! Be sure to head over to Emma's Blog if you haven't been there yet! Emma and the Design Team inspire me EVERY day! They are all so super creative! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a awesome day! Hugs, Leanne

Celebrate Christmas Blog Hop!

Good morning all my crafty friends! Welcome to day two of our Celebrate Christmas Blog Hop! You should be arriving from Saundra's Blog (she's also the first stop on our hop!) I'm so glad you could join us!

I had the pleasure of getting to play with July's Stamp Kit of the Month! Talk about cuteness overload this set has it hee hee! If your not familiar with PK's Stamp Kit of the Month here is a LINK that explains it in details!

For my first card, I used the super cute train and Santa waving from the window from the kit. I colored it all with my copic markers and then went back and added stickles to add some sparkle! I used some Liquid Applique to his hat, suit, and wheels. I also used it along with some stickles for the ground. For the sentiment, I used PK-11 November 2012's stamp kit. I thought that sentiment went great with my little scene! The snowflakes are from PK-148 Snow Gifts and I've added some stickles to the center for more sparkle!

For my second card,  I just LOVE these cute little penguins that are in this kit! They just make me smile! I found this little tree with ornaments in the Silhouette store and added Liquid Glass to the ornaments. I also printed my paper using my cameo. I paper pieced the penguins scarf and the band to his ear muffs. I also added some Liquid Applique to the ear muffs and on the ground to look like snow. The sentiment is from the stamp kit. The cute little bow is a die from My Creative Time, called Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow. I used the sprinkles in the stamp kit and stamped them on the bow. I then just added a thin strip of card stock underneath.

Here is a side view of the my card...

Today I will be featuring the new set "Circle Tab Sentiments"!

Can you believe I'm using pattern paper!! Yup, it's been a while! I normally start out with white card stock and go from there! I'm still learning my Cameo and this week I have been playing with the cut and print feature! I've been having fun with some digital paper :) The little girl and boy kissing plus the mistletoe & bow came from the Silhouette store. I used Emma's, Stitched 3x4 Journal die to place them on. I've used the new "Circle Tab die" and the new "Circle Tab Sentiments" for the hearts. Here is a side view of my card...

I've used the banner from the "Vintage Stitched Label die" to stamp by sentiment on. The sentiment is also from this release, "A Fun Variety on the Inside & Out".  Here's the inside sentiment I used to go along with it!

I'm in LOVE with this release! I wished I would have had more projects to share with you but to be honest still not doing so great with my MS, it's been a bad week :( I go to my MS doctor today and just praying really hard he can prescribe something that will help with this pain! Good morning! Welcome to Day Two of MCT Sneak Peeks! Today, I will be featuring two of Emma's new release "A Fun Variety on the Inside & Out" and "Fun Stitched Edge Die". I'm in LOVE with both of these!

I found this cute bald headed Santa in the Silhouette store and have to say every time I look at him I chuckle! I added some twine to his bag and also used Emma's "All Around Holiday stamp and die set" for the presents. I stamped two of the presents using the houndstooth background stamp in the "Build A Banner Kit". I used Liquid Applique for the snow. Now on to the new goodies hee hee! I used two of the dies in the "Fun Stitched Edge Die" set. One is very easy to spot...the scallop edge on both sides of my pattern paper! The other one is a little harder, it's what I used to make my snow that Santa's standing on! I just used it on the top of the white card stock to make my little slope (hope that makes sense)

The sentiment on the front and the one I used on the inside (picture below) are from the new release, "A Fun Variety on the Inside & Out" I LOVE this set!!

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Leanne

MCT Designer Challenge Winter Holiday Tags

Good morning! Today starts a new designer challenge over at My Creative Time! Katie is our host and the challenge is to make a winter tag using Emma's products! I've used Emma's, Tag Dies for my tag. The set comes with two and I've used the one with the scallop bottom. I cut a branch with my cameo and applied Liquid Applique to it for the snow. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the green branches and added more liquid applique to them too. I hand cut two white pieces of card stock to represent the mounds of snow and again added more liquid applique (told ya I love this stuff hee hee) I used Emma's, To My Best Peep stamp and die set for the bunny and for my sentiment. I haven't decided if I'm going to make a gift bag to go with this or just add the tag to the present for my best friends Christmas gift. I guess it will all depend on what I get her hee hee. Anyhoo, I thought that sentiment would be cute :) I've also used one of the buttons from Emma's, Stitched Button dies and tied a bow using hemp. The ribbon (or what ever that is called lol) is from my stash :) I forgot to add that I cut my bunny out with white card stock and then used a sponge dauber and CTMH ink in Chocolate to shade him with. I also added liquid applique to make him a bunny tail! I just love making these little winter scenes so this challenge was really fun! Be sure to play along and link up your tags over on Emma's Blog! Thanks for looking and have a awesome day! Hugs, Leanne

Ho!Ho!Ho! Merry Christmas

Hey ya'll! Happy Hump Day! Brrrrr it's turned cold here! I so dislike cold weather lol! I can tell this winter is going to be a long miserable one every bone in my body is aching! I'm not sure if it's the MS or just old age but I can definitely see me hibernating next several months!!

I have a fun little Christmas card I would like to share with you today! I actually used both the Cricut and Cameo to make this one! The Santa is from the Silhouette store and I've added some Liquid Applique to his hat (just love this stuff hee hee) Instead of using the mustache that came with the file I used a mustache from Emma's, What's Growing On set. The chimney is from the Simply Charmed cartridge (just trimmed it down). The speech bubble is from the Stitched Square Speech Bubble set. The Ho!Ho!Ho! sentiment is from the stamp set Warm Holiday Fun and the Merry Christmas is from Teeny Tag Holidays set.

That's it for me today I'm going to get all bundled up and try to stay warm! See you back here tomorrow with my project for the new Designer Challenge over at My Creative Time! Have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne

Inspire Me Tuesday!

Good morning! Today is Inspire Me Tuesday over at My Creative Time! This challenge is soooo easy and yet again soooo hard!! There are so many crafters that inspire me on a daily basis that it's hard to pick just one! One of my favorite places to get inspiration is Pinterest! I literally can spend hours looking at all the pretty cards, layouts, 3D projects and truth be told recipes!!! Pinterest has helped me gain a few extra pounds hee hee!

Since I don't like taking other's photo's without permission I'm just going to give you a link to what inspired me for this tag! You will have to scroll down, for some reason I couldn't get a direct link to the post with the picture (sorry). Her card really inspired me with the snowman and the frame she used! I knew Emma's snowman and frame would work just perfect! Anyhoo, click HERE to see her beautiful card! Now that I'm all finished, photo taken I wished I would have not made mine so plain! I'm sitting here looking at it thinking of all the things I could have added! Do you ever do that? FYI the card is under the Nov. 7th's post.

I used Emma's Tag Dies for my tag. I then cut Emma's Stitched Postage Frame and stamped the snowman from the It's A Magical Season stamp set. The sentiment is also from that stamp set. I colored the snowman's hat and nose with my copic markers. I then added some Liquid Applique for the snow. I used Emma's, Small Stitched Scallop Bow and added a crystal gem from my stash in the center. The gold ribbon is also from my stash. See this is very plain compared to the link I gave you of my inspiration! I still think it will look nice on a Christmas present!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs, Leanne

Life is Good!

Hey ya'll! Hope your having a great week! Just think ONE more day and it's the weekend :) I'm back with another card I would like to share with you today! I found this cute roller coaster in the Silhouette store. I also was playing around trying to learn how to print and cut! I finally "think" I figured it out! There is just so much the Cameo will do and I've got a lot I need to learn! I also still need to figure out my light box the color in the this photo still is not right but for me on anything it takes baby steps hee hee I still like the pictures better than how they were and if I can figure out how to get the gray gone I will be tickled pink! If anybody has any suggestions please leave them in the comments! Anyhoo, back to my card! I added some stickles to the little seats/cars or whatever you call them lol! The sentiments are from Emma's Life Is Good stamp set. Here is a side view...

MCT Favorite Stamp of the Month!

Hey everyone!! Guess what today is?! Not only is it Emma's Favorite Stamp of the Month it's my Birthday!!! Happy Birthday to me.....Happy Birthday to me....Happy Birthhhhdayyyyy dear meeee Happy Birthday to me!! Not only is today my Birthday it's my husband's Birthday too! Yup, we both have the same Birthday (he's one year older than me) isn't that cool?!!

Okay, back down to business lol...this month Emma has chose two of her stamp sets Piles of Smiles and Mixed Holiday Sentiments for her Favorite Stamp of the Month. Each month she likes to focus on past stamp sets and revisit them!  I got some more good news! If you order either of these sets (or both) you get free shipping until November 15th!

I found this cute silhouette in the Silhouette store. The sentiment is from the Piles of Smiles stamp set. The little tulip she has in her hand is from the Just A Little Note to Say. The little hearts are from the My One and Only stamp set. I also used a embossing folder by Paper Studio called Doodle Frame. I used my Scor Pal  to make the lines above and below the silhouette. I also used a copic marker to highlight around the silhouette.

Thanks for looking and have a Happy Hump Day! Hugs, Leanne
