For my project today, I've made a little box to hold some conversation hearts! I used the cartridge, Love Struck for my box. I have also used Emma's new background stamp, Love Collage! I stamped it using CTMH's ink in the color HollyHock. The box already had a heart shape that cut out so I just left it but the pretty heart on the outside is one of the newest die sets that is being released today! It's called, Stitched Scallop Heart Die Set (it's so purty!!!) I used some pop dots to pop it up! I filled the box with some yummy conversation hearts (thank goodness these are popping up now, I LOVE these!!) Matter of fact, as I'm sitting here typing this I think I have at least 4 stuffed in my mouth bahahaha!!

Here is the two sets I used on today's projects...

Hello everyone! Welcome to day two of My Creative Time's sneak peeks! Aren't you just loving what you have seen so far! Yup, Emma's done it again with another AWESOME release!

Today, we are showcasing a set called Chocolate Greetings with a chocolate die! This set has 35 stamps PLUS a chocolate die! This set covers so many occasions! Birthdays, Anniversary, Wedding, Baby, Valentine's Day and so much more! For my first card, I've used the sentiment "Kiss Me"! Before we go any further let me give you a FYI (trust me you will want this little bit of advice) If you are going to be searching the web or Pinterest DO NOT and I mean DO NOT search using these words!!! Folks, let me just say I seen things that my little ole eyes didn't need to be seeing (hee hee also learned a few things too bahahahha) Lesson learned, I will be so much more careful on my searches for now on hee hee!! Cough, cough since I couldn't find any inspiration on a card (found it on a few other things *wink*) I decided to use the Sweetheart Cartridge and this cute frog! I've added some googly eyes and did lots of shading using CTMH olive ink. I've also used a older set, 100% Sweetness for the lips and added some glossy accents (he's blushing can you tell?!) I've added some red glitter gems to his crown. The grass is made using a Fiskars punch. I've heat embossed the sentiment "Kiss Me" using Zing embossing powder. The banner that I stamped my sentiment on is included in this set also but I did trim it down to the size I wanted.

I've also made a second card using several of the sentiments from this set!

This time I used the banner again but I didn't trim them down. I also heat embossed all the sentiments using Zing white embossing powder. The first banner, I used two different sentiments "Hello" and Baby. I also added the three little dots with my white jelly roll pen (that's not part of the stamp) the second banner is all one sentiment "I Love You" and I again added on my own the exclamation with my jelly roll pen. The third banner is all one sentiment and the last banner I've used XOXO three times. I've used the Angel from Peachy Keens stamp club. This was released last January. I've colored her with my copic markers. I added just a tad bit too much blush (she saw what I saw on google and pinterest hee hee so that's why she's blushing so much) I've also used my StarDust jellyroll pen to go over her wings, halo, and I added some in her hair but it's hard to tell in this picture. I also added some glossy accents to her eyes. The three hearts are also new this release and are called "Stitched Heart Layering Dies"!

I hope you liked my sneak peeks today! I'll be back for the Blog Hop on Monday! Have a GREAT weekend! Hugs, Leanne

PK Challenge Anything Goes!

Good morning Peachy peeps! Today starts a new challenge over on the Peachy Challenge Blog and it's also my last challenge (as a design team member) sniff, sniff! Today's challenge is one of my favorites! It's a Anything Goes Challenge!

My project today was inspired by all the little Angels that entered Heaven's doors last Friday. My heart is truly broken and I've still haven't been able to understand how someone could possibly do this but I guess we will never understand. My heart also goes out to the families, I can't even begin to imagine their loss.

For my project today, I used MCT's Stitched Lollipop Die to hold a small little gift. To make my Angel, I used a few different cricut cartridges. For the head and her hair I used Paper Dolls Dress Up. The head was cut at 2.09 x 4.92 (Gyspy size) and her hair at 2.21 x 4.92 (Gyspy size). Her hair can be found under the head wear button (no shift). I used Create A Critter to make her wings (they are butterfly wings). I cut them at 3.25 X 2.41 (Gyspy size). You can find these under the Layer 2 button w/shift. For her arms, I hand cut them out myself just making a V shape. I used the Artiste cartridge for the poinsettia she's holding. I cut 2 of the shapes found on the last page of the handbook, under the Accent 1 button at 2.02 x1.86. I used green card stock for these two layers. I then cut the same shape again 2x's at 1.68 x 1.55 and one time at 1.30 x 1.20. I cut these all in red. I added some red glimmer gems to the center. For her face, I used one of my VERY favorite PK sets, PK-112 Cherub Face Assortment. I then added gold stickles for her halo, her little earrings, and around the edges of her wings and gown (well what I'm calling a gown hee hee)

This holds a small bottle of hand gel. I tied it using some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft. I also forgot to mention I did use pop dots to raise her head up.

Don't forget you can win this set! Just CLICK HERE and leave a comment!

If I don't post anything else before Tuesday I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Hugs, Leanne

If your thinking of getting the Artiste Cartridge or you have it on Santa's List I would love if you would purchase it from me! Click HERE to go to my CTMH website. Thank you!!

Fond Farewell Blog Hop...

Hello everyone! If you are arriving here from Lauren's Blog you are on the right path! To start at the beginning of the hop click HERE! Well, the day I've been dreading is finally here :( My term is over as a Peachy Keen Designer sniff, sniff! This has been such an AMAZING and FUN year! It's hard to believe that a year has gone by! It's been such a honor to be part of the Peachy family and I truly thank Kathy and her family for giving me the opportunity to work or should I say play with their AWESOME stamps! But one thing is for sure, even if I'm not on the Design team any longer I will ALWAYS love Peachy Keen and will always continue to use their stamps!

We were asked to pick three of our favorite projects over the past year and here is the three I chose! The card up at the top just makes me smile! Those cute little dolls from the PK-124 Thank You Dolls Set are so sweet! I also used several other sets for this card PK-128 School Bus and Lunch, PK-122 Funny Farm, and July's Stamp Club!

Next, I chose my Dracula card from Halloween using PK-692 Monster Mash Face Assortment! I love how he's holding the Happy Halloween! I used September's Stamp club for the shape and sentiment  for that!

Last, I picked a Christmas card I made using this cute little snowman from the PK-147 Skatin By set! This is another card that just makes me smile when I look at it!

It was hard just picking three! I love all my Peachy stamps hee hee! Well, before I go, I would like to say thanks again to Kathy and her family for taking me in this year! Thank you for ALL the awesome stamps, love, and encouragement you have given me over this past year! I will forever be grateful and love you dearly!! To all my design team sista's LOVE you too and it's been fun being on this team with such talented women! Also, I would like to thank all of the Peachy followers/fans for all the sweet comments and support you are the BEST!! Hugs, Leanne

Next on hop is.....Melissa Haas!

One last thing before I go!! Since we are showing some of our favorite projects that we have done over the year we get to pick one of our favorite stamp sets to giveaway!!! This one was hard because like I said before I LOVE them all hee hee! I decided to give away the PK-112 Cherub Faces! I love this set! Fly High It's Your Bird-Day!!

Good morning and Happy Monday!! I don't know about ya'll but this weekend was super busy for us! We literally stayed on the go all weekend long!! Friday night we had a Christmas party and Saturday we had two Birthday parties back to back and Sunday we done some Christmas shopping! It's been a great weekend but whew, I'm pooped!

It's my turn to share my project on the Peachy Blog today and I wanted to be sure to share it here also with all the details! In honor of it being Kathy's Birthday and since we are celebrating it all week I decided to make another Birthday card! I've used the new background stamp PK-152 Celebrations. I heat embossed it with Zing embossing powder. Isn't this little bird adorable! Him and the sentiment are both from the set PK-142 Lil' Tweets Birthday. I used my copics to color him. The clouds are by My Creative Time, Fly Away with me dies. I've also used My Creative Time's, Stitched Curly Label Die and the Curly Label die (layered the two) to stamp my sentiment on.

I hope you all have a AWESOME Monday and I'll be back tomorrow with another post! This one is a sad one sniff, sniff (nothing life threatening or tragic just sad!) Hugs, Leanne

More items added to the While Supplies Last!!

Eeekkk!! Just wanted to share that more items are added to the While Supplies Last on my CTMH website!! Lots of card stock CHEAP!!! Go check it out HERE!!!

Happy Birthday Peachy Queen!!! PK Challenge!!

Good morning everyone! Wooo Hooo it's Friday!! We have a super busy weekend planned and I'm so excited! Tonight we are going to a Christmas party and tomorrow 2 Birthday parties!!

Today our new challenge is up on the Peachy Keen Blog and this time it has a little twist to it!! This weekend is the Peachy Queen's Birthday!! We thought it would be fun to celebrate Kathy's birthday ALL week long  and also give you a chance to join in too!  Here's the details..

Peachy Keen Challenge 47 :: Sketch Challenge :: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KATHY!

Guidelines:
  • Design must be new, created specifically for this challenge
  • Must be a card or layout that follows the sketch provided
  • Link up by 12/19 - 11:59 pm EDT
  • Remember, you don't have to use our stamps to link up, but they are required to earn TOP PEACH!

We're turning this challenge into a Happy Birthday Kathy
LINKY PARTY!

Simply add a birthday message for Kathy, and link up as usual.

We're starting Kathy's party a few days early, and we'll continue the party a few days
past her actual birthday.  That way she has LOTS of time to enjoy each and every wonderful creation!!

For my card, I wanted to add a little bit of humor to it and show what could happen if you had just one to many martini's!! I got this idea in my head and I get it, I just hope you and Kathy get it hee hee!! I used February and December's Stamp Club. I thought the faces in the February set fit the stages perfectly! You know, happy, happy, what the heck have I done, and boom I'm out kinda look!  The sentiments are all from the December stamp club and so is the martini glass. I've added some crystal gems with my I-Rock and then covered the whole glass with glossy accent's! Here's a side view of my card...

Happy Birthday Kathy!! I hope you have a WONDERFUL day filled with lots of love and laughter! You are one special lady and I'm so thankful and honored to have been part of your Peachy family this year!! Have fun on your Birthday and don't wind up on the floor bahahaha! Hugs, Leanne

MCT 12 Day's of Christmas Day 9!

HUGE GIVEAWAY ALERT!
Okay, since it's Christmas, Emma decided to give away TWELVE of her FAVORITE things to ONE LUCKY person! She will announce one of the prizes for each day in her video! So by the 12th day, you will see ALL 12 items that ONE lucky person will be receiving! All you have to do is leave your comments each day! It's that simple! ALSO, **VERY IMPORTANT** Please leave your contact information so we can contact you "IF" YOU are the lucky winner!

Good morning! First let me start out by saying SORRY for the HUGE picture :( I had a devil of a time photographing this! It kept coming up sideways when I would try to load it and then to small so a big shout out to Ruthie for saving my day and my sanity!! Welcome to Day 9 of MCT's 12 Day's of Christmas! Another day closer and another day broker bahahahaha!

I love how easy it is to dress up kraft gift bags (the hardest part is taking the picture of them afterwards lol) I picked up a pack of these at Hobby Lobby (with a coupon of course *snicker*) and just now getting a chance to alter one! I also had to run to our dollar store earlier and I ran across this candy cane wreath that I just had to buy! It was only .50 (so totally in my budget!) I started to make a card but after thinking about it, I wasn't sure how it would hold up to the Postal Service. It probably would arrive in a gazillion pieces so I played it safe and used it on my gift bag! The window is from the Christmas Solutions cartridge and I embossed it with the wood grain cuttlebug embossing folder. I also used this cartridge for my Christmas Tree. I've added a clear star gem to the top but it's a little hard to see behind my bow. Speaking of the bow, I used the Artiste Cartridge for it! I just LOVE the bows on this cartridge (I know your probably getting tired of hearing that but I do!!) I've also added a Red Glitter Gem (from the WorkShop on the Go, Pear & Partridge) to the center. The little branches are from a Martha Stewart Punch. I've also added some Liquid Applique to the windows. I would have added more but sniff, sniff I'm out!! Here is a closer look of my little window scene....

Next, I created by tag using Emma's, Just Tags & Stamp set. I love how they layer!! I also used From Our Family to Yours for the tree and sentiment! When I was stamping the tree, I made a oopsie and got a spot of ink where it shouldn't be so it's nicely covered up with a snowflake now hee hee! I've used twine to tie it to my bag and another Red Glitter Gem. All I like now is my tissue paper and I guess it wouldn't hurt to put a gift in there too!

I hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

MCT Twelve Days of Christmas Day 8!

Good morning and welcome to Day 8 of MCT's 12 Days of Christmas! I can't believe we are already on Day 8!! The days are just flying by!

I've made a card today that is super simple, quick, and GREAT for using up some of your scrap stash! This would even be great for birthdays, wedding showers, baby showers, or anything you would take a gift to just change colors and sentiments! When things slow down a bit, I think that's what I'm going to do is make some of these to keep on hand and "maybe" even put a dent in my HUGE pile of scraps that is starting to take over! I used the Artiste cartridge for my bow (if you have been following me for awhile you know I LOVE this bow and use it every chance I get hee hee) I cut a strip of paper to add beneath it and then some faux stitching. I used Emma's, Scallop & Stitched circle dies to stamp my sentiment on. The sentiment is from the All Around Christmas stamp set.

Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you back here tomorrow for Day 9! Hugs, Leanne

If you would like to purchase the Artiste Cartridge click HERE to my CTMH website!!

MCT Twelve Days of Christmas Day 7!!

Good morning and hello!! I hope you have had a wonderful week! Today is Day 7 of MCT's 12 Day's of Christmas! I have a quick little tag I'd like to share with you today! I will be definitely be using Emma's, Tag Dies a lot over the next week trying to get some tags ready to go on my presents!! The tag I made here was super quick and easy! I started out by spritzing my tag with some chocolate glimmer mist. I then cut a circle using George and Basic Shapes (I spritzed it also with the glimmer mist) I used PK460-Happy Lashes for the snowman face. I had a scrap piece of my favorite plaid ribbon that I used on my card yesterday left over so I decided to use it today too! I added a button from my stash. The snowflakes are from a Marvy punch and the sentiment is from It's A Magical Season and I heat embossed it with Zing embossing powder. I'm so sorry my pictures have been all jacked up this week! For some reason, I've been having lighting problems and can't figure out what's going on! It usually happens when I blow a bulb or something but this time that's not the case :( Hopefully, I'll get it figured out soon, I hate when the coloring is off!! Have a GREAT weekend and I'll be back tomorrow for Day 8!! Hugs, Leanne

MCT 12 Day's of Christmas Day 6!!

Good morning! Welcome to Day 6 of MCT's 12 Days of Christmas! Eekkk we are getting closer to Christmas Day! I can just feel my blood pressure rising as I type! I have ZERO gifts bought! Excuse me as I wipe the sweat off the computer screen because I'm definitely sweating!!! It's this way EVER year, I should be use to it by now but NOPE still makes me a nervous wreck! We have to wait on my hubby's Christmas bonus to do our shopping so it's usually comes down to shopping till we drop a few days before Christmas! But that's ok...it always works out in the end!

Today, I'd like to share a super quick and easy card I made! I was so inspired by Liz's project on Day 3! I didn't use the chalkboard technique but I did emboss white on black! I used It's A Magical Season for the snowman and the sentiment! The little snowflakes are from a marvy punch that I found hiding in my stash hee hee!! I also used a border punch by Fiskars for the tree border underneath. I used some of my plaid ribbon from my stash (I just LOVE this ribbon and it's "just" about gone sniff, sniff) I embossed the black background paper with the snowflake cuttlebug folder. See told ya!! Super quick and easy!

See ya back here tomorrow with Day 7's project!! Thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

MCT 12 Days of Christmas Day 5!

Good morning and welcome to another day of My Creative Time's, 12 Days of Christmas!  We are on day 5 and I'm having a blast seeing all the great projects my teammates have been making and of course all the awesome projects Emma's made too!! It happens every year, I see so many neat things I want to make and I totally just run out of time! I wonder can we just keep making Christmas projects on into next year?! I would at least hopefully be on top of things when Christmas rolls around in 2013!

Today, I'm excited to share my little (what I'm calling) Rolo Snowman! Yup, you heard it right, this is a pack of rolo's that I've altered into a snowman! Again, I wished I could take credit for the idea but it's another one of those Pinterest finds that I had to try! I have changed mine up from the one I seen so I do feel some better! To make these, I unwrapped just the outer package (not the gold that holds them all together) and got the measurements to cut my white card stock. Before I wrapped it around, I stamped a face using PK-460 Happy Lashes. I then wrapped the card stock around and glued. I used some twine that my bestie had sent me for his scarf and a small button from my stash. I used the cartridge Snow Friends for his branches and I have him holding the little banner from the Vintage Stitched Label dies. The sentiment is from It's A Magical Season. I used my Zig black writer pen and drew some little buttons. For his little toboggan, I took a pair of cheap gloves and cut one of the fingers off and then rolled it up. I then glued a little white pom pom to the top!

Here is a picture from the side! I think I shall name him Roland what do you guys think?!! I know one thing for sure Roland might should be a little scared Rolo's are sounding pretty good about now bahahahaha!
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day! Hugs, Leanne

MCT Twelve Days of Christmas Day 4!

Good morning peeps! I'm a little behind on getting this up today, sorry!!  I guess better late than never huh?! I'm just loving all the projects the design team and Emma are doing for the 12 Days of Christmas!! These ladies are seriously some talented crafters! If you haven't been over to check out their projects you need to! There is so many neat ideas and great inspiration for the Holidays!

I have another ornament I'd like to share with you! I made this mainly using the Artiste cartridge. The only thing that didn't come from this cartridge was the Holly and it's from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I have to confess this is not my idea. I seen it on Pinterest and also on Cricut with Heart's Blog! I've had it pinned for a while and just had a chance to make it! As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to use the mustache from Emma's, What's Growing On stamp & die set! This was super simple to make! Here is a list of the cuts I used...

Under the 3D button, Page 53, cut at size 4.5" (This is the box)

Under the Accent 4 (shift) button, Page 62, cut at size .75 (this is the trim for his hat)
Under the Accent 2 (no shift), Page 62, cut at 1" (this is the for the top of his hat)
(I used white card stock for both of these cuts)

Next you will need to cut a piece of white card stock 3.50" X 1.50" (white card stock, this is for his beard)
This piece you will have to trim down to fit once you glue it on the box.

The next two pieces I used Ivory Card Stock..
Under the card button (no shift), Page 48, cut at .50" (this is his nose)
Cut a piece of card stock at 2" x 1.25" (this is his face) and will also have to be trimmed down to fit once it's glued on.

If you don't have the What's Growing On set you can use the mustache found on page 67, under the accent 2 button!

Holly is found on page 46 (shift) cut at 1"

I hope that helps but if you have any questions please just let me know!

For my berries, I used some red glitter gems that came from the Workshop On the Go, Pear & Partridge. I used two mocha gems for the eyes and they came from the Workshop On the Go, Avonlea. I embossed his beard & trim of his hat with a older cuttlebug embossing folder, divine swirls (I think that's the name of it). I've added gold stickles for sparkle and because my tree is red and gold hee hee!! To be able to hang it, I used hemp twine!

This was fun to make! If you decide to make one I'd LOVE to see it so be sure to send me a link!! If you don't have these two cartridges and would like to purchase them click HERE to my CTMH website! I would appreciate your business!!

Thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

Peachy Keen Sneak Peek!!

Good morning everyone! I hope your day is getting off to a great start! Sneak peeks are happening over on the Peachy Blog and today is my turn to share mine with you! This release is just so darn cute! Your going to love it!

For my card, I've used the new December Stamp Club and combined it with February's Stamp Club! I just LOVE these candles! I thought they would also look cute adding the feet from the February's Stamp Club to make them look like they were dancing!! The musical notes are also from that set too! I've paper pieced using ALL scraps from my stash even the pattern paper I used for the background! I'm so proud of myself hee hee I have tons of scraps that need to be used up! I've also added some glossy accents to the flames and some stickles to the musical notes. The sentiment is from the new December Stamp Club.

Wow! I can't believe a WHOLE year has went by and this is my last release as a Peachy Keen designer :( This year has been SO fun and I hate to see it come to a end sniff, sniff. It's been such a honor being on this team and getting to play with all these awesome stamps! I'd like to take this time to thank Kathy and her family for giving me this chance! It's been a dream come true! I will ALWAYS love my Peachy Keen Stamps! Thanks for looking and have a AWESOME day my friends! Hugs, Leanne

Oops! Forgot to mention...Don't forget the release party tomorrow!

Good morning! Welcome to day three of My Creative Time's, 12 Days of Christmas!! Even tho I'm not scheduled for all 12 days I really was planning on trying to do something each day :(  The crud is going around at our house right now and I'm doing my best to not catch it!! Oh yeah baby the Lysol is being used heavily right now!! Between that and a thousand other things I haven't got as much done as I wanted!

Today I want to share with you a little tree ornament I made using the Artiste Cartridge. I'm kicking myself really hard right now because once again I forgot to write down the size :(  In the picture it looks like it's big but in real life it's not that big at all! You can find the mailbox on page 51 in the handbook. There is a layer under the card feature that I did not use since I was leaving the door open on mine. I used the Embossed Envelope die and heat embossed the sentiment Dear Santa with white Zing embossing powder. The sentiment is from the Warm Holiday Fun stamp set. The Holly is from the stamp set, From Our Family To Yours and for the berries I used the red glitter gems from the Workshop On the Go, Pear and Partridge.

I used Liquid Applique for my snow (eekkkk I'm almost out!!!) and used my heat gun to dry it! I punched a hole up at the top, in the center and added hemp twine to make it an ornament!

Here is a view from the other side. I tied a little bow from the hemp twine and attached it to the flag. I also used a brad to attach the flag.

I wished I could have gotten better pictures! It's really cute in person hee hee! Thanks for looking and have a AWESOME day!! Hugs, Leanne
