Happy Hauntings! CTMH Workshop On the Go!!

Hello! I hope your enjoying your weekend! My hubby has been watching football just about all day so I figured it was a great time to come in my craft room and play! I still had the stamp set from the Moonlight Work Shop on the Go sitting out so I decided to play a little bit more with it and show you some of the great paper that's included in the kit!

I started by stamping a frame with the spider web boarder stamp onto some of the pattern paper. I used my StarDust jelly roll pen to go back over it for some sparkle!  I then started building my scene from there. I stamped the cute owl sitting on the fence and I used my copics to color his eyes and body. I added some glossy accents to his eyes. I also used my copics for the grass. I stamped my sentiment and then I added my little spiders! I matted this onto some black card stock (included in the kit). This card measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. It's been a while since I've made this size of card but I knew my little scene wouldn't fit onto a regular A2 size! The background pattern paper is also from this workshop and I matted it with more of the black card stock. I then made what I'm calling a cheaters bow hee hee! I over lapped the Black Striped Grosgrain ribbon (which is also from CTMH) and then took a small piece of string and tied in the middle. I then placed the cute little spider embellishment from the Haunted Assortment in the center! I then cut another piece of the ribbon to go behind it. The kit also has a pack of grey and black rhinestones and I've used the grey ones along the side.

I still have plenty of pattern paper, card stock, and embellishments to make several more cards!  This is such a fun workshop to play with! It also comes with instructions on how to make several different layouts that have already been designed for you! If you would like to purchase this work shop CLICK HERE! The link will take you to my online website! Thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

If you have arrived here from the very talented Kim Score's Blog then you are heading in the right direction! If not and you would like to start at the beginning of our hop please head to Emma's Blog! For today's card, I used the new Teddy Bear Parade cartridge. This has got to be the cutest cartridge! I just love it! I have a friend that just had surgery so I wanted to use the little doctor bear! All my pattern paper and card stock (other than the chevron pattern paper I used for my bear) are from the Cricut Imagine cartridge, Blossom. For his eyes, I used PK-136 Large Bear Facial faces. The flower is from the Flower Shoppe cartridge and I used some jute from Liz's Boutique! The sentiment is from Emma's ADORABLE set, Beary Special Thoughts! The set also includes a little patch and a patch heart. I used them both to stamp on his scrubs. I also stamped the heart with versa mark onto both sides of the card. It's really hard to see in the photo but I tried getting a close up here...

You can really tell it in real life! I'm sorry it's not showing up so well in the pictures!! I also forgot to mention that this is a center step card! If I'm not mistaken I believe this is the first time I've made one of these but they are super fun!! Here it is again, another side view of the card...

Ok, I won't keep you any longer I know you still have several more stops to make (and you don't want to miss ANY of them heehee) Next up is the very talented Liz!!

Who's Afraid?

Hello everyone! I finally got a little time to play with one of my new CTMH stamp sets tonight!! This set is from the Moonlight Scrapbooking Workshop and can be found on page 59 of the Idea Book! This workshop on the go is jammed pack with goodies! The set includes...

1- My Reflections Moonlight Packet Pack (X7161B)
1 - My Acrylix Moonlight Workshop Stamp Set (C-Size)
2 - Colonial White Card Stock Sheets
1 - Sparkles Black & Grey Assortment (Z1754)
1 - Haunted Assortment (Z1741)
1 - Instructional Brochure

Now I guess your wondering why I didn't use the paper pack! It's not because I don't like the paper because I really do! It's because I got this idea for this card and could not get it out of my head till I made it! I love trying to create scenes with my stamps and this little scene popped in my head right before I went to sleep the other night! Scary huh?!?! That or I'm just gearing up for the new season of Walking Dead!!!

I love this little mummy! Isn't he cute! (hmmm can mummies be considered cute? I'm going to say YES because I think this one is hee hee) I started out by stamping him and the street light onto white card stock. I then colored with my copic markers and hand cut each one out. I used Tim Holtz brick embossing folder and swiped some Brilliance Silver Ink over it. I then glued my mummy and street light down. I stamped some spider webs up in the corners and some little spiders hanging down from the webs (plus the little one on the ground). I used my copic markers to make my sidewalk and then stamped my sentiment, Who's Afraid? Last, I added glossy accents to the streetlight, the mummy and spiders eyes.

Just a friendly reminder you only have a few days left for this month's Stamp of the Month and also for the double stamp set, It's Your Day! Memory Miser- Mini Book!

Hey everyone! It's my turn over on the Memory Miser Blog. This month we are creating with one of the newest cartridges Mini Books! I'd like to share one that I have started but unfortunately not finished :( For all you mini book lovers this is a cartridge you definitely need to add to your library! It helps take out so much of the guess work! From different shape pages, pockets and envelopes this cartridge has it all!!

Like I stated before, I've just started on my album and there are still lots I want to add! The cartridge helps get a album put together quickly but the slow part for me is the embellishing and of course all the pictures! I'm sorry I just fell short on time!

I chose the mini book on page 14 of the handbook. I love the style of this album! It has 13 pages to cut including the different shapes, pocket pages, and a envelope page! I cut all the pages out using kraft card stock and then went back using my pattern paper to cover them! I still have lots of inking to do but I thought I would do that once I started embellishing each page! All the paper (minus the card stock) is from the Momenta paper stack, Great Outdoors! My bestie sent me this stack (wub her) and I've been hoarding it hee hee! It's a really cool stack that includes, stickers, tags, and all kinds of different embellies that I'll be able to add in the book!

I decided I wanted to do a camping album. I have so many pictures of our camping adventures and thought it would be fun to put some of my all time favorite ones in! For my cover, I used the cartridge, Campin Critters and Fun In The Sun! If you are or were big into camping, Campin Critters is a MUST have hee hee! I just love all the critters in this cartridge so I know cutting them will be fun! I also used one of MCT stamp sets, Have Fun In The Sun on my sign! The little guy fishing is from the Fun In the Sun cartridge!  Ok, let me start showing you some of the inside pages!

Here is the first page... I love the scallop edges on this one!!

Here is the 2nd & 3rd page (the one on the right is a pocket page but you might can tell more from the picture after this one!!

Here is a front view of the pocket page! It was fun putting this one together and easy too! It will be great to add more photos or journaling!

Here you can start to see the different sizes of pages!

See they get even smaller...so COOL!!!

Here is the envelope style page on your right! For now, I've not covered this one with pattern paper but I do have some ideas on how I want to embellish just ran out of time!!

If you notice on the right hand side the shape changes to a top note looking edge!

Again, they start changing sizes!

I just love the shape of these pages!

The one on the right, I'm calling it another type of envelope page! It folds down and slides into a slot to keep it closed! Sooooo cool!!

Here is the last page!

I hope you enjoyed seeing my mini album in the making! I'll be sure to post pictures when I have it completely completed! If this is one that you have been on the fence wondering if you would like it or not let me just give you a shove now!!! It's a MUST HAVE!!! Click here to order yours today!! Thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

This technique is so super easy and to be honest can become addictive!  HERE is one I made last week for my Peachy Keen Challenge! I made the video below explaining how but PLEASE go easy on me! Here is a picture of my finished card...

Here are the layer and mat sizes:

Layer One (smallest) -  2 x 3.25
Mat - 2.25 x 3.50

Layer Two - 3 x 4.25
Mat - 3.25 x 4.50

Layer 3 - 4 x 5.25

MCT Scrapping the Little Things

Good morning! How was everyone's weekend? If you call getting to buy a new mop a great weekend then mine was MARVELOUS bahahaha! I guess you can tell I'm not as excited to play with this new toy as much as if it was scrappy related!! But I guess all purchases can't be fun huh?!?!

Today is Scrapping the Little Things on MCT! I've been hearing everyone rave about Smash Books so to keep up with the Jones I purchased one too hee hee!! I've had this little book several weeks and it's been neatly tucked in a drawer along with some of the accessories you can purchase for it. It's funny something so small can intimidate you so bad but that's what this little sucker done to me!! I have to admit when I saw Emma had me down for today and to do a layout using your Smash Book I almost swore I didn't have one!! But now I have to thank her! It wasn't as bad as I thought and I actually had fun doing it!! Thank you Emma for getting me to try new things!! So let me quit rambling and show you my FIRST Smash Book layout!!

I used some pictures from our recent vacation to Pigeon Forge, TN! Before I go any further, if your wondering why my dear sweet hubby is not in the photos he was busy working on our truck door that just had to have a malfunction on the trip! These pictures were taken at the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge. I highly recommend going to this museum if you get the chance! It was, in my opinion well worth the money!

I used several of My Creative Time's Stamps for these two pages. Here I used the sentiment, A Day to remember and it's from the Cherish This Moment Set. Next, I used the 3x3 Fancy Tri-Fold card die to do my journaling on. I used the Whimsical Calendar Days set to stamp on the flap. This is the day the Titanic sank. I used the numbers on the Just Simply Live set for the year. The flower is from Emma's Flower Petal dies.

I used the set, Cherish This Moment for the sentiment here and the photo below!

And this one too!! The flower is from the Flower Petal die.

The hand with the pointing finger is also from the Cherish This Moment. I used the one pointing left and also below (not in the picture) pointing right!

I used Emma's newest die from the Just Tag set for more journaling! I hope you have enjoyed my Smash Book layout! I'm kinda excited about starting another page now that I've got this one completed!!

Just a friendly reminder that Lew's Close To My Heart Party is still going on and she's still a tad bit away from reaching her goal! You don't want to miss the Stamp of the Month it is soooo cute and will be great for your fall projects! Also, the promotion for the double stamp set is almost over! Here is my link to my Online Website and be sure to click to join Lew's party she would greatly appreciate it!!

Have a awesome day! Hugs, Leanne

Peachy Keen Post - Happy Fall!

If you are looking for MCT September Mini Blog Hop Click HERE!

Hello peeps! I hope everyone has had a AWESOME week! It's my turn today over on the Peachy Blog and I have a Fall card I made using Peachy Keen's September Stamp Club! I also wanted to share it here with you too :) If you are interested in the Stamp Club but need more information be sure to click here for all the details!

I just LOVE fall and one of my favorite things is the leaves changing colors! They have not started changing here yet but it won't be long! I've found a new (well new to me) technique that I'm having so much fun doing! I am planning on doing a video soon and hopefully get you hooked on it too!! I used one of the leaves from Septembers Stamp Club and stamped it in several different fall ink colors. I also used the frame and sentiment from this set! I stamped the leaves in CTMH ink using the colors, Olive, Goldrush, Cranberry. The frame was stamped using Desert Sand and chocolate for the sentiment. These colors are so pretty and are great for Fall projects! The Cranberry is going to be a great color for Christmas also! The pearls are also from Close To My Heart.

Well, I hope you have enjoyed my Fall card! Thanks for looking and have a super duper great weekend!! Hugs, Leanne

If you would like to purchase the ink I've used in my card today head over to my CTMH website!! You will LOVE their ink! Thank you!!

GOOD morning peeps!! Welcome to MCT September's Mini Release Blog Hop!  If you are arriving from the talented Kim's Blog then you are on the right path! If not, be sure to head back to Emma's Blog to start at the beginning of the hop! I'm sooooo excited to get to share my project with you today using the new set, All Around Goodies!!

You know I LOVE Pinterest! I am always on the look out for new ideas or techniques to try! I found this VIDEO the other day and knew I had to try it!! I absolutely love the way this turned out and you don't hear me say that often (most of the time I find fault in everything I do!) This is called a card box and it is SUPER easy to make!!  I used the Paper Dolls Dress Up cartridge for my deer and for my Christmas tree. For my deer's eye, I used PK-757 Wide Eyed and Bushy Tail. I was able to just use of of the eyes by masking the other one off with tape. I used some twine (more that my bestie sent me!) and a little red gem around his neck. I also inked him around the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo. I also used my white jellyroll pen to color his ears and tail. Last, I added some glossy accent to his eye. I used CTMH Liquid Applique on the Christmas Tree to look like snow! My "reindeer poop" is just some little round circles cut with my Gypsy (can't even remember now which cartridge I used) For the background, I used the Snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder and then lightly sanded over it. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from a older MCT set called, Gift Card Sentiments. I heat embossed using White Zing embossing powder onto kraft card stock. I then cut it in half and added to each side of the card!  Last, I used some white ribbon to tie around the card to keep it closed! I've NEVER been able to tie a bow that I feel is pretty. I bet I watched at least 14 videos on how to tie the perfect bow and I'm super pleased how this one came out (now if I could do it again that's very questionable hee hee) Now onto the fun part!!
The inside...

This is what it looks like opened up!! I used MCT scallop and stitched circle dies to stamp the sentiment Reindeer Poop on. I then printed out the Reindeer Poop poem and printed onto regular copy paper. I glued both of these down. I then added a little bag of Raisinets to represent my poop! Here is a little closer of picture so you can see Emma's stamp and some of the poem.

Thanks for looking and next on the hop is Liz!

Peachy Keen Challenge 3D Project Candles

Hey ya'll! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week! Today starts a new challenge over on the Peachy Blog! This challenge is to create a project using candles! You can wrap them, stamp on them, or anything else your crafty hearts desires hee hee!!

I decided to decorate my candle! I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased a flameless candle (I would hate to burn down my house lol) I also found in the speciality paper some corrugated and burlap paper that I thought was really cool! I started by wrapping both of these around my candle. After I had my paper down I then added my ribbon all the way around. I used the past stamp club set (PKSC-09 September) for the leaves and the pumpkin. I stamped the leaves using CTMH ink in Olive, Cranberry, and Goldrush. I also added some gold stickles to the leaves. The pumpkin was stamped using CTMH ink in Autumn Terracotta! These colors are GORGEOUS and great for fall!! I stamped the Autumn Greetings sentiment (from the club set also) using CTMH ink in Chocolate. The flower shaped jewels were brads but I cut the prongs off the back and then hot glued them on. I also added some dew drops (one also to the center of my bow) The twine is from my bestie :)  Here is a little closer up view...

I made it so that when Fall is over and it's take to decorate for Christmas (or any Holiday) I can slip this off and use the candle again! Now I just need to purchase some batteries! I keep forgetting! Now it's your turn to show us what you make using a candle! Thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

*Lew Pennington is having a Online Party! If you would like to help her out by placing a order please click the JOIN button on my CTMH website!! If you would like to purchase the ink colors I used on my project today (GREAT for all your fall projects!!) Click HERE to go to my CTMH website! Thank you!!*

Good morning and welcome to day two of MCT sneak peeks! Didn't the design team do such a AWESOME job with their peeks yesterday!!  There were definitely some yummy projects and awesome gift ideas that I'm dying to try!! Today I will be showing you a peek from a soon to be released set called, Just For You!

For my card above, I used my sneak by making a background stamp! I used CTMH ink in the color GoldRush. I also used the cartridge Wild Cards. I used the card feature with the pumpkin but I trimmed the card part off. I added some stickles and also used a sentiment from the Piles Of Smiles set.  I wanted to keep this one pretty simple so you could see my backgound  I created using the stamp!!

For my next project, I made this cute little pumpkin using the Artiste cartridge!  I wished I could take credit for it but I got this from the CTMH Idea Book! Their version is on page 85. The image I used can be found on page 78 of the Artiste Handbook. I did the recommended size of 3 inches and I cut each image on Accent 1 2x's each. I then used the same stamp I created the background with in my card above to stamp on each layer. I hand cut the stem and the leaves are a die from the Piles of Smiles set! I used some jute to tie around the stem to look like part of the vine!

Well, that's it for my sneaks today! I really hope you enjoyed my projects!! Tomorrow is going to be a REALLY busy day on my blog! I've got FOUR new projects going up!! I'll have my project for the MCT Blog Hop and I'm soooooo SUPER DUPER excited to share that and then the other three posts are for Peachy Keen!! Be sure to come back tomorrow and check them all out!! Also, just wanted to post again about Lew's Online Party! If you get a chance head over to my Online Website and browse the catalog! I'm sure there's something in there you need hee hee!! Once again, THANK YOU so much for stopping by! Have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne
