Peachy Keen Photo Inspiration Challenge

Hi ya! I'm sorry I've been such a slacker lately on my blog! I have been getting to craft a little more (still not as much as I would like) but what I've been working on I won't get to post till next week :( The good news is Sunday starts the sneak peeks for Peachy Keen's July release!! All I'm going to say is one word AWESOME!! This might just be my favorite release so far!!

Today starts a new challenge on the Peachy Keen Blog! We were given this photo as inspiration...

Our challenge was to create any project using this photo as our inspiration! For my card, I used the colors as  my inspiration. I used some paper that I picked up from Hobby Lobby and the cartridges: Straight From the Nest (bird), Create a Critter (the flag), and Give a Hoot (branch).  I used Peachy Keen's PK-755 Critter Faces Large for my birdies face. The sentiment is from PK-06 June's Stamp club kit. I also added a little gem to his party hat.

Be sure to play along with us we will be awarding Top Peach to one lucky person who uses this photo as inspiration along with your Peachy Keen Stamps!! Thanks so much for hanging with me and stopping by today! Huge Hugs! Leanne

I know, I know I say this everytime hee hee but I LOVE this release and I have a sneaky feeling you will too hee hee!!!

Soooooo let's get started shall we?! I've used several sneaks on my card! The SUPER cute airplane, the AWESOME layered banner and the sentiments are all from this release! This release you are going to love the dies! I'm just forewarning you now!! I've used some pop dots under the plane to give it some dimension. For the white background, I used the Swiss Dot's cuttlebug embossing folder. The city scape is from the Potpourri cricut cartridge and I've embossed it with the Tim Holtz distress brick folder. I then ran my ink pad  over it and hopefully you can tell I was going for a stone look lol! The sun is from the Doodlecharm Cartridge and the grass is from the EveryDay Paper Dolls cartridge.

MCT Throwback Thursday Challenge!

Good morning! Today starts a new Throwback Thursday Challenge over at My Creative Time! For this challenge we are to use any older cricut cartridge of our choice and the below photo as Color Inspiration!
Please also incorporate any of My Creative Time Stamps! Easy peasy huh!!

I first saw this fella during our May sneak peek week! Miss Cindy at Cindy's Scraptastic Designs created the most ADORABLE card and I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with him! So much that I made it a mission to own the Elmo's Party cartridge!! I had not even paid attention to this cartridge till her card but trust me even if you don't have little one's that love Elmo this cartridge is so worth taking another look at!! It's even at a AWESOME price at Memory Miser right now $15.50!!! I thought he would look cute also with the hat from My Creative Time's, Here's Lookin At You stamp and die set! I also used one of the cute mustaches from the What's Growing On? set and then added a action wobble to him!

The sentiment is from the What's Growing on? stamp and die set! I've used the Stitched Oval die to stamp the sentiment on. The ribbon and the pattern paper is from my stash! The small spot card stock (green) and the larger spot paper (white) is from Core'dinatons! LOVE this card stock!!

Well, I guess that's all for me today! Be sure to play along with us this Throwback Thursday! Thanks for looking and as always I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day!! Many hugs, Leanne

Peachy Keen Stamps & Core'dinations Blog Hop!!

Good morning and welcome to the Peachy Keen and Core'dination blog hop! You should be arriving from April's Blog! If you just happen to be stopping by for a visit and would like to start at the beginning of this hop (which I know you do hee hee) click here to start at the Core! I'm so excited that Peachy Keen Stamps & Core'dinations have teamed up for this hop! Two AWESOME products that I totally LOVE!!

For my card, I've used a couple of Peachy Keen's newest release PK-121 Fairy Mini Set & PK-120 Home Tweet Home! These little fairies are adorable! I used the Just Because Cards cartridge to cut this tree with the swing. I did have to work on my swing a little bit to make it wide enough for her to sit on! I love this spotted paper by Core'dination that I used for the green of the tree!! I love that it's already embossed! This tree didn't have layers so I hand cut some and added Helmar ZapDots to add dimension! I then outlined with stickles! The little birds & birdhouse are from PK-120 Home Tweet Home and I colored them with my copics. They are also on ZapDots for dimension. My little fairy is from PK-121 Fairy Mini set. She is also colored with my copics and to add some sparkle I outlined her with my StarDust JellyRoll pen! I've got her also on ZapDots! I used my Fiskars grass punch and some more of the spotted Core'dinations paper for my grass. The sentiment is from PK-121 Fairy Mini Set and I stamped it directly on the Core'dinations paper! For the background card stock, I used the bigger spotted paper by Core'dinations.

I added another sentiment to the inside of the card from the PK-121 Fairy Mini Set to finish my card off! I'd like to say thank you to both Peachy Keen and Core'dination for giving me the opportunity to work with both of their fabulous stamps & paper!! Now for the prize info....
Look what you can win!!

You have till June 10th 11:59 pm EDT to enter for the above prizes. To enter for the PK gift certificate we will be using the rafflecopter widget. You can find out more details on how it works on the Peachy Keen blog. Also, there will be two mini peaches hidden in the hop!! One on Wednesday and one on Thursday. Entrants will be asked to find the blog address of one and paste it in the rafflecopter widget for extra entries!

Peachy Keen Release Challenge!!

Hello!! I hope everyone has had a awesome day! I've been at the hospital all day and completely POOPED!! I  have never understood how just sitting at the hospital can completely wipe a person out but for me it does! I know my head will be hitting the pillow very soon tonight!

Anyhoo, I wanted to hurry and get this card posted for the release challenge! Heather is hosting this challenge during our release party on the Peachy Connection! Heather's challenge to us is to include paper piecing, ribbon or twine, and some kind of sparkle or bling on your projects!

For my card, I've use this adorable turtle from the new release PKSC-06 June Stamp Club kit! Isn't he just to cute!!! I paper pieced him with two different colors of card stock. I added some glossy accents to his eyes and then I outlined everything with my JellyRoll StarDust pen. I also have him on a wobble! The paper is some left over scraps from my Imagine and I've used my fiskars punch for the grass. The hemp is from Liz at Liz's Paper Loft Boutique! I showed you the other day how to use the splat from PK-115 Let's Ketchup for a water splash and on this card I'm using the little drops as rain drops! I've added glossy accents to each rain drop and colored with my copic marker. I just LOVE this sentiment and it's also included in the June set!

I'm in LOVE with this month's release! It's just wayyy to cute! If you haven't gotten to see them yet be sure to check them out HERE!! Also, be sure to head over to the Peachy Connection for the release party and join in on the challenges! The design team has some fabulous cards to share with you and not to mention the prizes!!! Be sure to come back tomorrow Peachy Keen and Coredinations have teamed up for a blog hop! Have a great rest of the night! Hugs, Leanne

Monday Madness...Imagine That!!

Good morning! I hope your day is off to a good start! Today is Monday Madness...Imagine That! The challenge this time is to use your Imagine (if you don't own a Imagine just be sure to use some pattern paper) and create any project (card, layout, or altered item) using any of My Creative Time Stamps and also using the theme "Happiness". Create anything that comes to mind that makes YOU happy!

I decided to make a layout! When I think of happy, I think of my family! I love them all so much! It was hard to narrow down a picture but I decided to go with this one of my hubby on one of our many camping trips (another thing that makes me happy!!) We haven't been camping in awhile since we sold our camper but we have so many good memories that I won't forget! Hopefully one day we will own another camper! I sure miss it!

Anyhoo, for my layout I used my Imagine and two cartridges Enjoy The Seasons (Imagine cartridge) and Campin Critters. All paper was printed (even my critters) using the Imagine except the dark brown card stock I used for the background and to mat my photo.

I used two different sets of My Creative Time stamps in this picture. Camera Shy & Cherish This Moment! I just love the critters on this cartridge and being able to print them with my Imagine made them super easy and fast! I also added some googly eyes!!

For the sentiments in this photo, I used Cherish The Moment, Have Fun In the Sun, & Follow Your Dreams. The journaling lines are also from the Cherish This Moment set. I still have to do my journaling but I like to do that after I take pictures hee hee!

Hee hee this is a picture of the hubs! I love this picture of him! I bug him non stop wanting to take his picture and normally I get one with that look STOP TAKING MY PICTURE!!! But this one he did a little pose for me!! I used What's Growing On & Cherish This Moment for the sentiments!

Be sure to play along with us and link your projects up over on Emma's Blog! Thanks for looking and have a awesome day!! Hugs, Leanne

I used some stickles to the splash and then I highlighted the bird bath and the splash with my JellyRoll Stardust pen. The sentiment is also included in this set!
