Monday Madness...Imagine That!!

Good morning and happy Monday to you! I'm sorry I wasn't around much last week! I spent most of the week working on updating my PC products ugh... First I started with my Gyspy and then from there my Imagine! I also have a new baby to add to my PC family. I caved and bought a E2!! After I updated my Gyspy and plugged it into my Expression it wanted me to update that also. I have the Sure Cuts Alot software so I didn't want to lose it and if I updated I figured PC fixed it so it wouldn't work anymore. Soooo my solution I bought a E2 and I'm keeping the Expression for SCAL. Needless to say, I didn't get a whole lot accomplished last week!!

Today is Monday and that means another Monday Madness...Imagine That challenge!! This week Emma gave us a sketch to go by....

I used the Blossoms Imagine cartridge for my pattern paper. I haven't used this one much but it's got some really pretty paper on it! I really have a hard time sizing with the Imagine (sure wished they would fix that lol) so I broke down and installed the Cricut Craft Room!  To me it has a little bit of a learning curve and still trying to figure it all out but I was able to use it enough to get this card made! I used the shapes from the Cricut Craft Room exclusives (I believe that's what it was lol!) Then just filled the shapes with the patterns from the Blossoms cartridge. I used the Flower Shoppe Cartridge for my flower (the paper is also from the Blossoms cartridge). I used Peachy Keen's PKSC-01 January for the cute little angel. I thought she went perfect with the sentiments I used! Speaking of sentiments hee hee I used two of My Creative Time sets!!  The sentiment that I used on the Stitched Oval Die is from the This And That set. The other sentiment is from Pain, Pain Go Away. I added some stitches with my brown pen (which right off hand I can't remember the name of eekk sorry!) The sheer ribbon is from my stash and the center of the flower are skittles (well at least that's what they were called way back when they were the "big" thing) I got them at Michael's on clearance and I will NEVER run out of these things lol!! The angel is popped up using Helmar's ZapDot's.

Now that I got my updates caught up (hopefully..saying that with fingers and toes crossed) maybe this week I can actually use them hee hee! I'm real excited to try out my E2 (haven't even had time to do that yet!) Hopefully, everything will run smooth (not like last week lol) and I wont have to make a bazillion calls to Provo Craft!  Wish me luck! Now head over to Emma's and see what the other's made using this sketch! I'm sure they will be AWESOME!! Also, don't forget to link up with us at Emma's using your Imagine and the above sketch!! Hugs, Leanne

Monday Madness...Imagine That!!

Good Monday morning to you all! It's time to dust off those Imagine's! My Creative Time is back with another challenge and guess what! You get to play along!! We thought it would be fun to have everyone join us for Monday Madness....Imagine That! The challenge this Monday is a color challenge. You can make anything you want using the colors Pink, Black, Gray, & White. If you don't have a Imagine just be sure to use those colors we hate leaving anyone out! You have one week to complete and it will need to be added to Mr. Linky on Emma's Blog (please link to the actual project not your blog).

For my card, I used the Teresa Collins Black & White imagine cartridge and the Berries and Cream Imagine cartridge for the pattern paper. I found this cute little bunny and basket on the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. The basket is cut with Coordinations paper and embossed with a cuttlebug folder (that's what brought out the black in the basket). I used PK-440 Cute & Cuddly and PK-138 Tear Kitty Face parts for the little bunny. I added a flower and button from my stash. I used My Creative Time's Stitched Oval die for the oval I stamped the sentiment on. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Happy Hunting stamp set.

Be sure to head over to Emma's blog and check out what the others made using their Imagines and be sure to play along! We can't wait to see what YOU make!! Have a great Monday! Hugs, Leanne

There's no bunny like you...

Hello everyone! The weather has been absolutely GORGEOUS here in Northern Alabama! I'm actually wearing shorts and my flip flops today! Ohhhhhh how I missed my flip flops!! Today I thought I'd share with you a card I had made last week (no crafting time this weekend lol) Is this not one wacky wabbit hee hee!!

For my card, I chose the bunny from the Four Legged Friends cartridge! I remember just HAVING to own this cartridge and you know what the sad part is this is the first time to use it! I know shame on me!! I didn't especially like the eyes so I decided to add googly eyes (which my hubby said looks wicked lol) I used two of my favorite punches the Martha Stuart fence punch and the fiskars grass punch. The basket is from Stretch Your Imagination cartridge and to be honest I can't remember what cartridge the carrot is from (I had it already cut for another project and decided not to use it) The little flowers are by Prima and I've added little pearls for the center. I used My Creative Time's stitched oval die and the sentiment is from My Creative Time's Color Me Happy stamp set.

Thanks for looking and I hope you have had the gorgeous weather we have had in your neck of the woods!! I'll be back with another project for tomorrows Monday Madness....Imagine That! Hugs, Leanne

My Creative Time's Sneak Peek Day Four!!!

Good morning! Welcome to day four of My Creative Time's sneak peek! Today we are showcasing  the set, Coffee Break! This set is just to stinkin cute! Here's a picture of what all is included....

I decided to make another home decor project for my kitchen! I found this frame on clearance for a buck and been holding on to it trying to figure out what to do with it! I took the glass out. I used my cricut and the cartridge Love You a Latte for the Coffee Break die cut. I then used the die with cup sleeve and my Grand Calibur to cut two of the dies out. I stamped the coordinating coffee cup onto the cut out and then used the poka dotted background to stamp on the cup sleeve. The flowers are from Prima and I've really been hoarding them for quite a while but I figured it's finally time to use them hee hee!! I then added lots of faux stitching. Easy peasy and I can't wait to hang it in my kitchen!!!

My Creative Time's Day Three Sneak Peek!!

Good morning!! Welcome to day three of My Creative Time Sneak Peeks!! Aren't you just LOVING this new release!!! The other designers are just blowing me away with all their awesome projects! I'm so blessed to be on this wonderful team with these AWESOME ladies! And let's not forget Miss Emma the BEST boss EVER!!

I'm pretty excited to share with you my project for today!! But let me first say I had a tad bit of trouble photographing it lol!! The sentiment looks a little blurry in the picture and not sure why and also in the top right hand corner that light spot I guess it's the way the light is hitting it because its not there in real life!!

I used a 8 x 10 canvas that I purchased from Hobby Lobby a while back and also some acrylic paint by Americana to paint my background. Before I added my paint I did add a layer of gesso to the canvas. I then used my new cartridge Love You a Latte and cut the coffee cup out. I glued it and the sentiment down using Zip Dry glue. I also added some stitches with my brown pen to spruce it up a little! The sentiment is from My Creative Time's set called You Are Perk-fect. After I adhered everything down I used Helmar's Crackle Medium Step One & Step Two. I have to say I'm pretty darn proud of this and now have it displayed in my kitchen!!

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Day Two!!

Good morning everyone! Welcome to day two of sneak peeks! I'll be showcasing one of the new releases, Do The Cocoa Motion. If your a hot chocolate lover (and come on who's not hee hee) this set is right up your alley!!

Confession time....I HAD to have the cricut lite cartridge, Love You a Latte!! Just as soon as I saw this release  I knew it would go perfect with these sentiments! Soooo after much begging and pleading (and a slight temper tantrum) I went and bought it Saturday!! I used my Gyspy to cut this cute couple out. I cut them at 4.01 x 4.06. The script background was made using my Imagine and the Imagine cartridge, Lori's Garden. I just printed it onto kraft card stock. The scallop heart, I'm not exactly sure which cartridge that came from (I just happened to find it in my stash of cuts that I didn't use for some reason or another). I stamped the sentiment on cardstock and then hand cut it out and matted with the dark brown card stock. I used Helmar's ZapDot's to pop the couple up. Here's a side view picture.....

I also stamped the sentiment Wishing You a Cup of Cheer on the inside! Here's a picture of the stamp set I used...

Peachy Keen Challenge - Anything Goes!

Good morning everyone! I hope no one has thought I fell off the face of the earth hee hee! This week has been SUPER SUPER busy! I've had doctor's appointments EVERY day! I think I've had my share this week of doctors and hoping if I eat my apples it will keep them away (remember that saying a apple a day will keep the doctors away?) Anyhoo, we have a new challenge starting today at the Peachy Keen Blog!! This is one of my favorite kind of challenges...Anything Goes!!

I'd like to share my card I made for the challenge! It's another one of those quick and easy cards so I hope you like it! I used PK-562 Gnomegrown for the flowers and the sentiment. I colored the flowers with my copics. I then cut out a vase with my cricut from the Potpourri Basket cartridge. I embossed the vase with a cuddlebug folder. I then used a small piece of patterned paper to use at the bottom. I wanted to make it look like the vase was sitting on a table with a poka dotted tablecloth hee hee! I then added some stitching using a Martha Stewart pen. The card measures 4.25 X 5.50.

I finished the inside by adding the same pattern paper that I used on the front and that's it! Now be sure to head over to the Peachy Keen blog and see what the other designers did for their projects and also we would LOVE for you to play along! Thanks for looking and I hope you have a awesome weekend! Hugs, Leanne

Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weekend. The wind is still a bit nippy but it sure beats the weather we had in Northern Alabama on Friday. We had several tornado warnings in different counties surrounding me and one here in my little town. We are fine but others weren't as lucky and I pray for them and their families.

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for Tuesday Trigger over at the Moxie Fab World Blog. I haven't entered in any challenges in a while and this one sure looked fun! The newest Peachy release PK-564 Teamwork and PK-562 Gnomegrown went PERFECT with this challenge! Here's the photo that you are to take your inspiration from....

See!! Doesn't it remind you of a Gnome's home?!!! I used this picture but I also used my gnome box that I made in my last post for inspiration too!  Ok, let me get started with the details I'm down to the last day to enter so if I keep on rambling my luck the challenge will end hee hee!!

My card measures 4.25 X 5.50. I used My Mind's Eye, Complete Boy Stack for the pattern paper. The solid card stock is just out of my stash. I cut three strips of paper and used the Martha Stewart doily punch to represent my roof (each layer I added Helmar's ZapDots) I then used the window frame from the cricut cartridge Sweet Tooth Boxes (it came from the same house that I used for my gnome home in my previous post) I then paper pieced the cute little gnome pushing the wagon w/flowers PK-564 Teamwork. But before I added him I used a fiskars punch for the grass and the little white fence is a Martha Stewart punch. I used Helmar's ZapDots also on the gnome to give him and the wagon some dimension. The little red flowers are from PK-562 Gnomegrown. For the sentiment, I used My Creative Times stitched oval die and stamped it with the sentiment from PK-562 Gnomegrown. I used some twine and wrapped it underneath the sentiment. Here is a side view of the card....

For the inside, I used another piece of the pattern paper I used on the front as the background and matted it with white card stock. I used another flower from PK-562 Gnomegrown and also the sentiment which says...Gnomegrown is a grin, a giggle and a good ol belly laugh!

That's it with the details! I hope you like it! I don't mean to rush off just want to make sure I get this entered in time!! Have a wonderful day! Hugs, Leanne
