Hello everyone! Well? How was your Thanksgiving Holiday?! Ours was wonderful and just like I predicted we ate WAY TO MUCH bahahaha!! The food was absolutely out of this world (our parents KNOW how to cook hee hee) It's a good thing we don't eat like that daily or I would weigh a gazillion pounds!!! We also survived Black Friday (no scratches or bruises or no bail bonds needed) I did get just a little run over by crazy people RUNNING to get in the line for the tv's at Wal-Mart but no battle wounds that I can show off! We got everything we went for so it was a successful night! The only thing that got me was staying up ALL night....I was a complete ZOMBIE by the time we got home and slept most the day on Friday! I hope everyone that braved the Black Friday sales, that you were able to get what you wanted to!
For my card today, I have used several of My Creative Time's products and the Artiste cartridge! I am absolutely in LOVE with the new dies that Emma has released! Here I've used, Lowercase Fun Dies, XL Label Die, and the Stitched XL Label die. I created my poinsettia using the CTHM Artiste cartridge (page 80 in the handbook, Accent one no shift) I cut this image in different card stock and different sizes (green card stock 2 x's at 2.25, red card stock 2 x's at 2, 1.50, & 1.25 offsetting each layer) I added red glitter gems from the Workshop On the Go, Pear & Partridge cardmaking kit for the center and also to the dot for the letter "j" in joy. I also used my Martha Stewart branch punch to add just a little bit more greenery. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's, From Our Family to Your's. I did the sentiment by using the masking technique. The paper is some I've had in my stash and I believe it came from Hobby Lobby.
Have you gotten your Artiste cartridge yet? Why not give yourself a little "early" Christmas present! If you would like to purchase the Artiste cartridge CLICK HERE! Thanks for looking and I wish you and your family a wonderful & safe Holiday weekend! Hugs, Leanne
