My Creative Time's Design Team Day!

Happy Thursday everyone! I had my eye appointment yesterday! Looks like everything is a go and I'll be able to have my lasik eye surgery next Thursday, July 7th! I'm excited and scared all at the same time!

Today is My Creative Time design team day and to be honest this was not the set I was going to work with this week. I actually was suppose to use the Honey Do List and had ever intention to but didn't realize (duh, I should have known lol) that they would dilate my eyes and I couldn't see anything for several hours! Also, I don't know if it was my nerves or from my eyes being dilated I was so sick with a nauseous feeling I was pretty much down all night last night! I'm so glad Emma understood (she's a good boss hee hee) and let me use this card I had already made but haven't had time to share with ya'll yet!

For my card, I used the cute robot from the Wrap It Up cartridge and added some googly eyes. The nuts or bolts (whichever they are called) are from the Indie Arts cartridge. I did add some Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to pop them up some. The mats (behind the robot) are from the Elegant Edges cartridge and embossed with my cuttlebug. I can't recall now which cartridge I used for the balloon (sorry) but I used some twine to make my string. The sentiment is from the set Wow, So Many Candles which I stamped and then matted with some red cardstock. Here is a picture of my card from the side...

Thanks for looking and I hope you liked my card! Now head over to Emma's and see what she and the other designers have created! I can't wait to see myself hee hee Have a great day! Hugs, Leanne

P.S. Looks like I've went and done it yet AGAIN!! We were to use red, white, & blue this week!! NOT red, white, blue, & GREEN AND YELLOW!!!  Pretend the yellow and green is not there okay?

Helmar USA & Nikki Sivils Week!

*If you would like to see my layout better click the photo to enlarge*

Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? I had a great one hee hee! I have a new toy to play with!! I won a Cricut Imagine on Ebay and it arrived on Saturday! I spent the rest of the day and well into the night getting it and my gyspy all updated! I want to give thanks to Katie, at Crafting With Katie, if not for her I would still be clueless as what to do lol! She was nice enough to speak to me over the phone, which for me is sooooo much easier than emailing! Thanks again Katie!! You were so much help and such a pleasure to talk to! I can't wait to be able to get more imagine cartridges! I only have the one that came with the machine (Imagine More) and the Blossom cartridge (which I also won on ebay really cheap!) I still have TONS to learn and not sure when I will actually make something but maybe soon!

This week Helmar and Nikki Sivils have partnered together for a fun filled week full of projects and great inspiration from both companies! There will be prizes given away so be sure to visit the Helmar Design Team blog and Nikki Sivils blog each day for this special week that we have planned!

Today is my turn to share with you a layout I made using the Nikki Sivils paper line, We Are Family. A couple of weeks ago, we took a day trip and my son, Kyle got to experience flying on a airplane for the 1st time! He was a little on the nervous side lol!  My husbands employer owns their own private plane so it was a smaller plane not one of the big commerical airplanes. I have to admit those kinda scare me to because it seems you can feel ever little bump hee hee. I love this picture I took of him when we finally got him to actually look out the window! I used my HP Photosmart printer to print the picture (the one that is portable and only prints 4 x 6 & 5 X 7 pictures) It came with some built in software that has a few cool things you can do with your pictures. I chose one of the frames from the software and printed it on 5 X 7 HP photo paper and then matted it. I used Helmar's quick fix adhesive runner to attach to the paper.  For my banner, I used a template from The Crafters Workshop (this was included in my design team box I received from Helmar) and I also took the Family Border strip sheet and did some fussy cutting for the top layer. I wanted to add some dimension to the top layer so I used Helmar's liquid glue dots (love this stuff!) I attached two tiny buttons from by button stash to each end with Helmars 450 Quick Dry. For the border at the bottom, I also cut that from the Family Border strip sheet and used Helmar's ZapDot's to raise it up. The tree was cut from the Family Cut Up sheet and I also used more ZapDots to raise it up also. The journaling shape was also made using the same Crafters Workshop template. I then cut a bow from the Family Cut Up sheet and attached it right above. Whew, I believe that's all the details! I hope it all made sense hee hee! I hope everyone has a great week! I've got a pretty busy week ahead of me and not sure how much crafting time I'm going to get squeezed in! Just wanted to let you know I'm not MIA! Also, this Wednesday I have a appointment with a lasik eye surgeon to see if I qualify for lasik eye surgery!! I'm sooo excited so please say a little prayer for me that he gives me the thumbs up!! If everything goes as planned I'll have my surgery July 7th! I have dreamed about doing this for years and finally going to make it happen! I'm sooo ready! Thanks for looking and have a awesome week! Hugs, Leanne

My Creative Time's June Stamp Release Blog Hop

Yay!!! It's Friday and the day we have all been waiting for!! We get to share with you Emma's newest stamp releases!! First off let me say sorry for the photo! I think if you click the picture it should let you view it bigger. I have also taken a few close up shots because I really want you to get a good lookie at Emma's stamps!!
For my layout, I have used 4 of Emma's stamp sets! 3 are being released today, Honey Do List, Inspiring Words, and Inspiring Words Accents. The fourth set is My Teacher Rocks that has been out for a little while. Here are pictures of the sets I used.

Wow! Don't you just LOVE the new releases?!?  Now here is a few close ups of my layout....

The clipboard and Things To Do is from the Honey Do List set. The other is from the My Teacher Rocks set.

I used Sugar and Spice for the frame and circle. The cute little worm is from the Create A Critter cartridge which I had to give him a cute little peachy face using the large critter faces from Peachy Keen. I also added some glossy accents for his glasses. The apple is from the Wrap It Up cartridge. I used the word Dream from the Inspiring Words set and the quote is always rewarded from the Inspiring Words accent set and stamped all the way around the frame. I then took the cute frame from the Inspiring Word set and stamped inside the word Dream and the accent quote If you follow your dreams, they will lead you to your destiny. I just LOVE these two sets together!! The paper is from a older DCWV stack called Grade School. My son came in when I was working on the layout and said NO!!!! you can't show that picture of me (he's 17 now) just look at MY EARS!!! I just love those ears hee hee (he won't understand till he has kids of his own) I think that covers all the details! I sure hope you like!!

Now I have MORE EXCITING NEWS!!! Just lookie....

Yup, snatched that banner right off the bosses blog!!! How exciting is this!!! I just luvvvvv that frame and super excited to get that baby in my hot little hands lol! I'm pretty sure these babies will be shipping out next week so when your ordering your stamps be sure to toss this in your cart to!!! Be sure to leave a comment on ALL blogs for a chance to win a stamp set or a die. There will be 11 winners!! Deadline to enter will be Sunday at midnight!!

Ok, I guess I better quit rambling and let you get on hopping to the next stop which is CATHRYN!

My Creative Time Sneeky Peek Day #3!!

Hello!! Just ONE more day till reveal day!! Are you excited yet? I know we are!! Hasn't Emma and the other design team members did a AWESOME job with their sneeky peeks this week?! I am so PROUD and HONORED to be part of this awesome team!!

Today we are doing a sneek peek of another awesome set called, Honey Do List. I have to admit things just didn't go like I wanted them to! This actually started out going to be a layout but I will spare you all the gory details hee hee. Sooooo instead of a layout I have a card to share with you! The cute clip board and sentiment, Things To Do (plus the check mark) are from the new set being released Friday. The other sayings are from the Have Fun In The Sun set. I hand cut (or should I say butchered hahaha) from the pattern paper I was using for my didn't happen layout! I really messed the paper up but still hated to throw it away!! So I did some fussy cutting to save the flowers!! I tore a little strip of tan cardstock and added some stickles to make it look like sand. I used the cartridge Lifes A Beach for the starfish and also added some stickles to them to! I used my Helmar's ZapDot's again to pop a few of the flowers and the top of the clipboard (which I colored with a copic marker). I always like showing a sideview picture so you can see the dimension.

Welp, that's my card for today! I hope you like it! Just a friendly reminder to be sure to leave a comment on Emma's blog and the design team members for your chance to win a stamp set of your choice! Also, Emma and the team will be on the look out on facebook for those of you that are spreading the word! Another winner will be picked so get to facebooking!!! If you would like to be my friend (which I hope you do hee hee) click HERE to go to my facebook page! I would love to add you and always looking to make new friends! Have a wonderful day and thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

My Creative Time Sneeky Peek Day #2!

Welcome to day two of My Creative Time sneeky peeks! Today's card is actually using TWO different stamps sets that will be released on Friday, Inspiring Words & Inspiring Words Accents. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this set lol!!!
My mom is going to a baby shower this weekend and wanted me to make a card for her so I kinda killed two birds with one stone with this card ha ha. The cute stork and baby are from the New Arrival cartridge. The little flower is from Baby Steps. I used the Peachy Keen, Just Baby Face assortment for the baby. I also used Peachy Keen's, Everyday Character Face parts for the storks eye. I used a Fiskars stamp set for the clouds. I stamped several clouds out and then hand cut them out. I shaded the clouds with a copic marker. To glue all my pieces and also to adhere my card to the card base I used Helmar's 450 Quick Dry. I wanted to add some dimension to the stork and the baby so I added some Helmar's Zap Dots. I just love the dimenstion these add! Here is a sideview picture....

And here is a even closer look to show you the dimension the Zap Dot's add.

Sorry the photo's are a tad bit dark. It's been raining all day today! Just a reminder, be sure to leave comment's on Emma's blog and the designer's blogs (links on side bar) this week for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice! Also, those of you that facebook/twitter if you help spread the word of Emma's new release she will be picking a winner from there also!  Now I've got to get busy and get on tomorrow's sneeky peek and my project for Friday's blog hop hee hee! Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy your day!! Hugs, Leanne

My Creative Time 7th Edition Stamps Sneeky Peek!!

Happy Tuesday everyone!! The next few days we will be having sneeky peeks of Emma's (My Creative Time) 7th Edition stamps! Her release is this Friday and we are so excited that we wanted to give you some sneek peeks to hold you over hee hee!! Also, if you leave a comment on Emma's blog and the designers this week (on the sneek peek posts) she will be randomly picking a winner to win a stamp set of their choice!! Also, if you help spread the word on facebook or even twitter about the new release she just may pick a random winner there also!! How cool is that!! The stamp set that I'm giving a sneek peek of today is called Encouraging Quotes.

For my card, I used the cricut cartridge, Elegant Edges and Sweethearts. I had a house full of teenagers and well, with all the distractions going on I had to make a quick simple card! I decided to pick this different shape frame because I liked the little heart in the corner and thought it went well with the couple from the Sweetheart cartridge. Instead of cutting all the layers for the couple (I guess I should fess up...I was on the lazy side) I decided to make them a silhouette. I added a flower with a heart gemstone for the center. I also used my I-Rock and added some crystal gems to the points of the frame. I used some Helmar Zap Dots to pop the frame up. I added some faux stitching using my white jelly roll pen and my black Martha Stewart pen. I just love this set and can't wait till Friday for release day! Don't forgot to visit everyone's blog and leave a comment for a chance to win!! Have a great day and I should be back tomorrow with another sneek peek!! Hugs, Leanne

Out of This World Mini Album!!

Hello everyone! Happy Friday to you! This week Helmar has teamed up yet again with another great company, Best Creations, Inc. It's been a fun week, full of great inspiration over at the Helmar Design Team Blog! If you haven't been for a visit you truly are missing out on some great projects by the other talented ladies! This is my first time getting to use this company's paper line and let me just say it's just so CUTE!! It just screams little boys with the robots and spaceships!!

For my album cover I used some 6 X 6 chipboard. Instead of covering with paper I used some acrylic paints, Helmar Crackle step 1 & 2 and sealed it with Helmar's Antique Acrylic Sealer. I used my cricut and the Cricut lite cartridge, B is for Boy for the rocket and the little boy in the space suit. For the little boys face I used a peachy keen stamp.  I found a box of foam pieces at Wal-mart that had robots, stars, rockets, and moons, and alphabet letters. I thought they would work well with this album! It also come with some different color sheets of foam. I used one of the pieces and ran it thru my Grand Calibur using the Grand Labels #1. It cut the foam like butter lol!!  I then used Helmar's 450 Quick Dry to glue everything down.

I just love the these papers! I love the bright, fun colors! The journaling stamp is by My Creative Time, from the stamp set, My Journaling. The nuts and bolts are a svg file from Lindsay's Stamp and Stuff, Steampunk Box and Accessories. I used my Grand Calibur along with several diffent Spellbinders dies for these two pages. To adhere everything down I used Helmar's Premium Craft Glue. I added some Helmar's Zap Dots under the nuts and bolts to add dimension. I don't know why I didn't use Helmar's Liquid Scrap Dots for this job!! I'm sooo use to grabbing the foam ones!

The little green alien is cut using my cricut and the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. The star is from the George and Basic Shape cartridge. I used Helmar's Zap Dots on both of these to add demension. Using Helmar Gemstone Glue, I added the little alien some cute googly eyes! I also used the Gemstone glue to attach the Dew Drops from the Robins Nest. I love Emma's, My Creative Time stamp set, Camera Shy and was able to use it on both pages!

Aren't these papers just to CUTE!!! I didn't want to do to much to these pages! I wanted to leave them really simple so you can see how cute the paper is! I just made two small mats and used some more of Helmar's Zap Dot's underneath them. I added some of the foam stars just to give the mats a little pop of color hee hee!

Here are the last two pages of my mini. I used my Grand Calibur and the Grand labels #1 die to make my photo mats. The cute little Robot, stars, and moon are from the goodie box I got at Wal-Mart! I also added some googly eyes to the Robot! I used Zap Dot's on all the pieces (oops! I also just noticed you can see some hee hee will fix that lol!) The yellow polka dot ribbon came from Wal-mart. I also forgot to mention I used The Cinch to bind my book! Absolutely have fell in love with it! I never used my Bind It All to much, because to me, it was hard and I would wound up getting really frustrated with it! The Cinch is SUPER, SUPER easy!! It does all the measuring for you!! If your on the fence about wanting one I would say go for it! I have had mine since they launched it on HSN and have had it tucked away worried that it would be hard to use like the Bind It All. Soooo glad I decided to give it a try!! Watch out Ebay here comes a Bind It All!!!

Well, that's all the details to my mini (I think lol)!! I was going to add ribbon to the o-wires but decided against it lol! I would like to say THANK YOU to Best Creations, Inc for sending me this adorable paper line (be sure to check out their website, they have some really cute paper!) and to Helmar USA for giving me this opportunity to design for them! Thanks everyone for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!! Hugs, Leanne

My Creative Time Design Team Day!!

Hello!! Today is My Creative Time's Design Team Day!! Emma has asked us all to use her Race For A Cure stamp set this week. This is a exclusive set she has created for breast cancer awareness. Every set sold $2 will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

For my card I decided to play around with a old daisy stamp that I've had in my stash for awhile. To be honest, I don't have a clue who this stamp is by! I know I purchased it at HL but back then I threw away all the packaging not knowing that I would EVER forget who they were by hee hee! I did soooo many of them that way! I randomly stamped it on one side of the card stock and then used my copic markers to color and to make stems. I then used Kates ABC to cut the butterfly. I used a Zap Dot to add the top wing and to give it some dimension. I used a spellbinders label #17 and stamped the sentiment Today Matters (I used a Zap Dot for this to)! For the adhesives to make this card ,I used Helmar's Quick Fix Adhesive Runner. Very quick and easy card but I love the way it turned out! I hope you do to!!

Be sure to head over to Emma's and see what the other design team members made using this stamp set! I can't wait they always amaze me with their talent! Also don't forget to play along with Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge! She will be giving away her 7th Edition stamps to one lucky winner!! Be sure to come back tomorrow I have a mini album I get to share with you! Hugs, Leanne

SSCC Challenge – Embossing!

AFriend
Hello! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and enjoying the nice weather! It’s hot, hot, HOT here and thank God for AC’s!! I dread getting my utility bill because ours has run non stop for the last few weeks! I also wished we would hurry and get some rain!! We need it sooo bad!!
It’s my turn to share my card over on SSCC for the embossing challenge and of course I wanted to share on my blog to!!  I used Kate’s ABC to cut the pot with flowers! Each flower is popped up using Helmar’s Zap Dots. I love the dimension that the zap dots give! I also used a stamp from the JustRite Set, Song in My Heart. I embossed using Zing, white embossing powder onto black card stock. I then used the scallop oval and classic oval along with the Grand Calibur to cut the image out.  I used Helmar’s 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to glue this down.  I used Helmar’s Quick Fix Adhesive Runner to adhere everything else. I used some ribbon from my stash and added some faux stitching.  Here is a picture from the side…
Afriendsideview
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a GREAT Wednesday!! Tomorrow is My Creative Time Design Team Day so be sure to stop back by! I’ll have a new card up using Emma’s awesome stamps!!

Inspirational Journal - Trying something new!

Hello! I am sooo sorry it seems like FOREVER since I've got to post anything! It's not that I haven't been crafting just the things I've been working on have taken me longer to complete lol! This week Helmar USA and Best Creation Inc. have teamed up and I have a mini album that I get to share with you this Friday using their paper line and Helmar glue! I can't wait to share it and hope you like it! Thursday is My Creative Time design team day and I have a card that I get to share with you then!

Today, I want to show you something new that I've started! I've been visiting (stalking lol) Tracy Weinzapfel, President of Helmar USA, Inc, blog and really loving her inspiration journal. She is totally amazing and I love everything she does! She has really inspired me into starting one of my own! The above picture is the cover for my journal. It is a 8 x 10 canvas that I purchased at Joann's. Now before I go into detail let me say a few things lol! This is all NEW to me! I was really scared at first (I know that sounds silly doesn't it) that I wouldn't be able to make mine as gorgeous as the one's I've been seeing all across the internet. I'm really bad about comparing myself to others and always feeling like my work never measures up to everyone elses. But I decided to put those doubts aside and just have FUN!! Not that I don't worry if your going to like it or not but sometimes I worry so much that I completely take away the fun!! So with this it's just me being me! Something that I can have and look at, that can inspire me when I'm feeling down or just to help me get over some fears that I struggle with. I feel like in ways it's a start to a new journey and I plan on making it a fun one! I also thought I would DRAG ya'll along with me and share with you as I go along!

Ok, now back to the cover! I've been buying up some acrylic paints the last few weeks and trying to build my little stash up since I didn't own any to start with. I've been buying one of the cheaper brands, Americana mostly. I have bought a few folk art, and another brand that I can't remember off the top of my head! If you see a color that you like and want to know the name of it just email me and I'll be more than glad to tell you the brand and name! When I sat down to do the cover I had no clue really what to do! So I just started painting! I also forgot to mention, I purchased some gesso (got mine at HL) and used it as my first layer. After that I just started seeing what would happen if I did this or what would happen if I did that! After I got the color I wanted I decided to do some sponging with different colors and that's how my cover came out!  I then used a template (since I can't draw worth a poot!) and painted the bird on the branch. I then used a black pen to outline it. I used my I-Rock and a crystal gem for the birds eye (you may have to click on the picture to see it and the bird better) The purple and pink flower are from a bundle of flowers that Joann's had damaged out 75% off because they were missing some leafs! The yellow flower is from a pack of Petaloo that I picked up from HL and totally love these flowers! They have glitter on them! The centers of the yellow and pink flower are by Prima. I used some dew drops from the Robin's Nest, I just love those things hee hee! The butterfly also came from Joann's and was marked 50% off! I have had two little books of vellum quotes in my stash for awhile so I finally broke those out and used one! I attached it to Spellbinders label #8. I got to use Helmar's V2 Vellum Adhesive and it worked great to adhere it to the label! I also failed to mention (sorry) I glued the flowers and centers with the 450 quick dry because I wanted to make sure that they were stuck and stuck GOOD lol! If you haven't tried the 450 quick dry you seriously need to get you a bottle, that stuff is amazing!  I also forgot to say, that I used the Cinch to punch the  holes for my binding! I have had this, seriously, since it came available to buy and just used it for the first time on this book cover and for the mini album I get to share with you later this week! I LOVE it!! It is wayyyy easier to use then the bind it all! I was scared to get rid of the bind it all till I made sure that I liked The Cinch but now I'm convinced I will probably never use it again lol! Ok, so that is all the details for the cover and whew, this is getting to be wayyy longer than I meant for it to be!! Are you still with me?!?! I hope I'm not boring the crap out of you but I do tend to get a little long winded sometimes!!

I've got two pages to share that I have completed to go in my journal. Here's the first one! I used watercolor paper for my pages. I found a whole new tablet at a yard sale for 50 cents and so glad now that I bought it!! For the base layer, I painted it with gesso. I then covered that with lavendar. I then applied some aqua blue at the top and sprayed it down with water to make it run. (I learned that from Tracy!) I patted it dry and added some purple glimmer mist but that's not showing up so good in the picture. (I used the glimmer mist on both pages) I used another stencil to do the flowers. I didn't do so well with the leaves as you can tell! I got way out of line but remember this is stress free so I didn't sweat it (well not to bad hee hee) I then used my prisma pencils to outline. I added buttons for the centers. I then took a quote from pinterest and printed it onto printer paper and used modge podge over it and the flowers. Helmar does make decoupage but sniff, sniff I didn't get any of that in my box (may have to beg for some hee hee). I love the way this page came out for some reason the buttons just make me smile (I know I'm goofy like that lol!!)

Here is another page (the back side of the first one) that I have completed. As far as the painting, I basically did the same thing I did to the other page to create this look. I used another template for the bird sitting on the branch. I used my prisma pencils to outline and then used some to shade the bird. The quote is another from Pinterest (love that place lol!). For the two flowers shaded in purple, I embossed using zing, white embossing power and then did some shading with my copics. Haven't decided I may go back and add buttons to the centers but haven't made my mind up just yet! The yellow flower is another flower by Petaloo. I added a lavendar gem for the center. I think this is my favorite out of the two that I have finished! I had such a fun time making this! It's (for me) sometimes easier to create something when you can just let yourself go and do whatever you want and not worry if it is right or wrong!!

Well, that's all for me tonight! I hope that you have enjoyed and maybe made you want to make one to! If you do decide to join in and make one for yourself please let me know because I would LOVE to see yours!! Have a great week ! Hugs, Leanne

Get Your Glue On With Helmar in June!!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I thought that warm weather would never get here and swore I would not complain when it got hot.....but I'm telling you it's HOT!! Miserable hot! The heat index here has been around 105! Makes you really want to stay in and not peek your nose out!

It's been a great week over on the Helmar Blog! Lots of great inspiration from both Helmar and Lawn Fawn stamps! If you didn't get a chance to see be sure to swing by the blog and take a look! Also, be sure to like Helmar on facebook that way you can keep up with all the fun things we have planned!! We have our very first challenge up and would love for everyone to play along! One of our talented team members, Lydell came up with this gorgeous sketch....

I haven't done any layouts in the last couple of weeks but I found this one pretty easy and really had fun creating it! I did happen to cheat just a tad bit (shhhh don't tell) I had these flowers made for some time and just as soon as I seen this sketch knew they would work out perfectly! I'm sooo bad about cutting things out, then deciding they don't work or look right on whatever I'm doing at the time! I never throw anything away and will eventually use them somewhere down the road lol! Like now with this layout! These flowers were made with my slice and the design card, noteworthy. The buttons are all from my stash. The dew drops are by The Robin's Nest (these were included in my design team box and I LOVE THEM! Thank you Robin's Nest!!) The flourish was cut with my cricut but this was another thing that I had already had cut and now can't remember which cartridge it's from (sorry). I used a Martha Stewart punch for the leaves. For my mat, I used my Grand Calibur along with the Grand standard circles and Grand scalloped circles. I then added some faux stitching. For some reason I feel like I HAVE to add faux stitching somewhere on anything I make now! It looks naked if I don't hee hee!! I used one of Emma's awesome stamp sets, Camera Shy (this set is awesome for layouts!) and stamped it on a Spellbinders Nestibility label #4. I also used a Spellbinders matching stamp set, Lacey Squares underneath Emma's stamp. Here is a picture of the Helmar products I used to make this layout..

I also used the 450 Quick Dry and totally forgot to put it in the picture arrrr. I used the acid free glue to glue down my paper and the 450 quick dry for my flowers and buttons. I used the Gemstone glue for the dew drops and the glue runner for my photo. I absolutely love my new Helmar products!!  I had to try to test as many out as I could hee hee! If you are not familiar with Helmar's adhesive, you HAVE got to try it out! It's amazing!! If you go to the Helmar Blog, there is a list on the left hand side, showing the preferred partners and where you can purchase from!

Here are a couple of close ups of my flowers....

Here is a close up of Emma's stamp which I used a white zap dot for dimension....

Well, I guess that about covers it! Now it's your turn to get your glue on and join in on the challenge!! Don't forgot to visit us at our blog and like us on facebook (you can tell them I sent you hee hee) Enjoy your weekend!! Hugs, Leanne

My Creative Time's Design Team Day!

Happy Thursday ya'll! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! I'm loving it so far! Finally, no more freezing to death hee hee! Do you know what today is? Yup, it's My Creative Time's design team day! Yay!! Emma assigned me her stamp set, Happy Homecoming and also provided us with a sketch to use! Here is a picture of the stamp set and sketch...

For my card, I used A Child's Year for the silhouettes of the children holding the flags. I'm sorry, I keep turning to this cartridge!  It took me forever to use it and now that I see that it has so many great cuts I can't stop using it hahaha!! I used my grand calibur and the spellbinders labels #9 along with the spellbinders matching stamp set, Dash It All (for the stiched border). The ribbon is some that I found at a yard sale! The whole roll was just 25 cents!  I thought I'd add it because it reminds me of a picnic tablecloth (you know Welcome Home party...picnic..get it?) I know my mind works weird hee hee! I also tied a bow out of the ribbon and attached a button. The button is from my stash and so is the navy blue polka dot paper. The red background paper is really shiney and not sure who it's by either but I received it when I was in Paper Wishes template club. The border punch is a EK Success punch. I used the sentiment Happy Homecoming and hand cut it out and then matted it onto navy blue cardstock and hand cut that out also! I then added faux stitching (got to where I just about do this on everything hee hee) around the edges and the silouette. That completes my card!  Here is a side view...

I really hope you like it! Be sure to head over to Emma's and see what she and the other's have made! I'm sure they will have something AMAZING to show using Emma's stamps and this sketch! Thanks for looking and have a awesome day! Hugs, Leanne

Pictures of Helmar Goodies!!!

Hey everyone! I tried again today to take some pictures of what was in my Helmar box!! These are still probably not the best pictures but these are wayyy better than the ones I was taking the other day!!

Look at all this glue!!! I am in GLUE  HEAVEN!!! There's the 450 Quick Dry (1 large bottle, 3 smaller bottles), Zap Dots in black, clear, and white, crackle step 1 and step 2 (can not wait to use this!!) gemstone glue, 3 glue runners, glue remover, vellum adhesive, acrylic sealer, and two glue spreaders!! Maya Road sent those neat canvas dress forms in the back along with 3 different shape chipboard albums, some cool flowers with buttons for the center and some tags! The Robins Nest sent 4 bottles of dew drops in different colors and lots of differnts packs of gemstones in different colors!!

Ooooo look at all these goodies!!  The templates in the back are by Crafters Workshop, Lawn Fawn stamps (which I've already used one set hee hee), some cool rub on's from The Robin's Nest that goes with some papers that are in the next picture, and a stamper from PSA Essentials. It came with four sets Halloween, Christmas, Snoopy, and a cute little friendship one with girls!!

I wished I could have gotten a better picture of the paper:(  There is several different paper stacks. The Robin's Nest, The Best Creation, Nikki Sivils, and lily bee design. Gorgeous paper!

Now can you see why I was stalking the mailman!!! Thank you Helmar and all the Preferred Partners!! I never in a million years would have dreamed of receiving this many goodies! It all seem's like such a dream so just in case I am dreaming don't NO ONE dare pinch me!!! I don't want to wake up lol!! Thanks everyone for letting me share my excitement with you! I really have my work cut out for me! The design team is filled with so much talent that I hope I just don't bore anyone lol! Hugs, Leanne
