Put your sunglasses on...for some reason I've been in some funky color moods!! Our challenge this time was a "3-2-1" 3 different patterns papers, 2 embellishments, and one flower cut from any cricut cart of our choice. I decided to go with the hibiscus from SB. It's one of my favorite flowers! I downloaded the paper from ShabbyPrincess.com (thanks Cheryll for telling me about this site!) Also, wanted to add that I put Glossy accents all over the flower and used stickles for the inside of flower and the bee (cut from A Walk in My Garden). The sentiment is a stamp from Stampin Up. I added red pom poms and used my chalk from stampin up to shade! Hope you like it! Thanks for looking!
Still playing around with my new cartridge Wild Card. This time I used the oval card in blackout. I also used A Garden of Words (bird & flowerpot with worm). I punched the leafs out with a punch and the sentiment is a studio g stamp. I also used my oval nesties. Hope you like and thanks for looking!!

Oh wow, wow, wow!!! I have fallen in luv!!! I have been reading how much everyone looks this cart. and I'm so glad I am now a proud owner also. I watched a video on Robyn's blog The Pink Stamper (love her videos). I decided to use the same card that Robyn did in her video just to get the hang of it and I used some paper that I have had for quite a while (just in case I messed up). I also used my new sizzix die that I got last weekend on our road trip to Joann's in Nashville. I didn't go all out on this but I still think it turned out nice. Oh, I forgot to mention that I also love how it does the matching envelope...just how cool is that?? I'm sending it out tomorrow to Kyle's prayer partner at church. Thanks for looking!!
Wow! This has been ONE BUSY WEEK!!! This week has had its ups and downs. Monday and Tuesday was very stressful (so glad that these two days are OVER) Wednesday I had to take my mom to the doctor. She has a stress fracture on the top of her foot (all the stress we have been under led to all the stress she has been under and it wounded up in her foot ha ha) She will have to wear a boot for 4 weeks but should be fine just needs to stay off of it. Today, the best day so far I got my package in from Oh My Crafts woo hoo!!!!! I was able to order 10 (yes I said 10) new carts for my cricut!! Talk about happy dance I'm doing it now!! Just for the record I NEVER get to do this so I've been super excited!!! Here's a layout I done this evening. I like how it turned out. It may be because I like this picture of Kyle!! It shows his pretty blue eyes (which I can personally vouch that sometimes they turn a fire red and I think he's been possessed!!) Let me know what you think good or bad and as always thanks for stopping by!

Yay!! It's FRIDAY!!! This week has been soooo long! It's been crazy around here and I haven't got to play as much as I would have liked to. I did get to take me a little shopping trip yesterday to Hobby Lobby!! Got a few goodies (not near as much as I wanted) and may get to go back the Income Tax check came today WOO HOO!!!!! Anyway, (I had to snap myself back into reality because I was really dreaming big hee hee) I picked up some paper to do this layout of Kyle when he was a baby. I wasn't sure exactly what I would come up with but after I got home looking thru my carts it all started to come together! I used four different carts for this one (I think) I took the car from PDDU, the truck from NA, and another car from Locker Talk along with the keys and the title was cut with Mickey Font. I distressed alot of the edges (another little goodie I bought yesterday!) I wanted the title to look like it was hung so I used little strips and attached with brads. Did alot of stickles and doodling and this is the finished result!! Hope you like! Please comment I love to hear feedback!!!

I started a scrapbook a long time ago and got frustrated with it and finally just put it away! But today I decided I'd drag it back out and try finishing up some more pictures! These are some pictures of a camping trip we took at David Crockett State Park. It's a very simple layout and not a whole lot of frills but at least I'm a little closer to being done!! Hope you like it and thanks as always for taking the time to look!!

Good morning ladies! Hope everyone is having a great weekend! We have alot going on for today so it was no sleeping late this morning!! I wanted to jump on real quick and post my challenge card for the Whimsical Scraps & Bugs Design Team. I'm so excited to see the other womens creations (I know they are going to be wonderful!!)Our challenge was to make a Valentines Card using a cut from the cricut and to use a lot of ribbon. The challenge was to be very wild and to think outside of the box. Well, here's my take on it! Not sure if it's wild enough but it was a challenge! Let me explain...for my cut I used the Design Studio. I've had this program a couple of months and just lately have got the nerve up to try and learn it!! I am determined to learn this program!! I designed the cut by taking some swirls (had to flip one swirl!) then I welded together. I added the heart and I wanted it to look like it was hanging. I used a studio g stamp for the sentiment and my nesties for the circle and the scallop circle. On the scallop circle not sure if the picture shows but I rolled up the edges all around and then I added some bling. Tied a big bow up at the top and added a flower gem. The lace behind the design is a belt that I had from something I wore many moons ago and instead of throwing it a way I'm slowing reusing it! Since I've started making cards and scrapbooking everything takes on a new light!! Well enough rambling I hope you like my card and would love to hear feedback!! Thanks for taking the time to visit and be sure to check back!!

I decided to join the February Challenge on the cricut message board. I'm on team 1. Our challenge was to use two cuts and we could use DS. I took the heart off of PS and welded love to it for my cuts. I decided to go with some funky colors just to shake things up a bit. (May have went to bold!!) I was feeling pretty good about it till my DH walks in and turns up his nose!! So now he's really shaken my confidence up and made me nervous about it!! He thought the color was to loud. But I decided to go ahead and use it since this challenge was just for fun and that's what I had when I was making it! My secret sister Tammy gave me A Walk In the Garden and I have just been itching to cut some things with it (especially the ladybug!) So here it is be sure to let me know what you think! If you agree with DH let me know..This card is probably just going in my card stash so it's not liking going to the President or anyone special!! Thanks for looking!!!
