Hey!!! It's been raining what seems like forever and boy is it COLD!!!!! I'm soooo ready for warm weather!!! Our challenge this time on Scrappy Frogs Challenge blog was to alter a mailbox for Valentine's Day. I was the lucky winner of three of these mailboxes that came from target! I received, a pink, red, & white one. This is the red one. I know these were really in last year also but this is my very first one to do! I was able to use a cutfile and that made covering it really easy! I used the Cricut Sweethearts Cartridge for all the cuts. I used some paper by K & Company that I found at Tuesday Mornings sometime last year marked down really cheap. I almost forgot I had it! I've still got to do my other two (hopefully I can get them done before the 14th!) Be sure to head on over to the blog and play along. It doesn't have to come from Target I know the Love Struck cartridge has a mailbox and so does Lindsay! Also, check out all the other DT members they are soooo cute!! Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!!!

LSS Thursday - Not one but two!!!
Hey!! I can't believe it's already Thursday!! This week has just flew by! (Technically it is late Wednesday night but just go with it hee hee) Can you believe it I've got two cards to share with you today! The first card is using Lindsay's Carousel Horse image. I used my prisma pencils to color and also some inking to give it a antique look. The paper is by My Minds Eye. I used my stampin up punches for the scallop and plain circle. The little flower I cut from the My Minds Eye paper. The ribbon was just a little scrap I had in my stash so I decided to add that behind it. The sentiment is a studio g stamp.
This next card was kinda a mistake (but a happy mistake or at least I think so hee hee) I know ya'll have to remember me saying at least a gazillion times how bad I've been wanting some copics (or at least I think I've mentioned that a time or two!) Anyhoo, I'm trying my darndest to convince DH that I NEED them really, really bad and to let me use some of our tax refund to buy some (everyone please add this into your nightly prayers..say it with me Please let Leanne get copics markers she really, really wants them ha ha) Ok let me get back on track I thought I would play around with my bic markers and see if I could at least learn to do some shading using them and thus this is how this card was born! You would not believe what all colors I used on this image!! I still haven't got the shading part right yet but I had a ball seeing what happens when putting colors together! After I got thru coloring and cutting this image I decided it needed to be put in a pot so I cut out a pot using my cricut and Walk In My Garden (the tools also came from this cartridge)I used my cuttlebug to emboss and then added a little strip of lace. I made the sentiment on my computer not sure if you can see it in the picture but it says A Mothers Love Never Stops Growing. I don't know who the paper is by it came in a kit that I receive every other month with the templates from Paper Wishes. The name of the image I used is Oriental Poppy by Lindsay. Just a reminder Lindsay has a on going sale for every $5 you spend you get a free digi stamp and be sure to check her shop out she's always adding new images and you don't want to miss them! Be sure to check out all my other DT buddies to see what they have designed for you this week (but remember their posts won't show up till in the morning) and leave them some love they are a bunch of great ladies and I love being on the DT with them! Hugs!!! P.S. I love comments to!!!

LSS Thursday -Purr-fect Pair
Hey ya'll! I don't know if you were on my blog today or not but boy I sure have had it in a mess! I think I have it all fixed now except my signature (keeping fingers crossed after this post it will be working) I guess me and a cute blog is just not going to happen! I'm also trying something else new. I'm posting my picture using Picasa so lets hope all goes well with that. This week Lindsay is sponsoring Tuesday Morning Sketches by Melissa. Click here for this weeks sketch and be sure to play along! Lindsay has this digital cat stamp as her freebie this week so be sure to head over to her blog and grab it! Somewhere down the road and I'm not sure how it happened but I didn't follow the sketch. I started out with every intention but things just didn't work out like I wanted. I'm still not so sure I'm happy with this card period! But I think it's just the mood I'm in! Today has just not been a good day! The paper I used is some I have had in my stash probably since I first got started in scrapbooking. It came from HL but I'm not sure who the maker is. The hearts are cut from my cricut (the red one is covered in stickles). I created the sentiment using my computer. Don't forget to check out the other DT members blogs to see what they have come up with this week and play along with Tuesday Morning Sketches for a chance to win some of Lindsay's wonderful stamps! Thanks for looking!!
Construction Zone Beware!!!
Oops! I've done went and done it now! I've got my blog all messed up and guess what?? It's going to have to stay like this for a little while! I'm having to run out and won't be able to get back on for a little while. So...please excuse the mess hopefully I can get it all straightened out soon!! If anyone would love to help me with a header I sure would appreciate it!! Sure wished I would have waited till I had more time to do this but that's what I get for being impatient!!

LSS Thursday - Love U
Hey! Since everyone has been changing their blog background I thought I would to! This always scares me to death! I'm so scared of losing everything! But luckily it went pretty smooth and this is the finished result. I'm still not sure if I'm 100% satisfied but for now it will do. I made this card using Lindsay's digi set Love Grows Here and the Flourished Chickadee image. I printed the Love Bingo card on pink cardstock and inked the edges with Tim Holtz vintage photo ink. I printed out the Chickadee and colored with my prisma pencils and then cut out just the bird and part of the branch he's perched on. I cut the U from the Winter Woodlands cartridge. I used a friskars punch for the heart border and last I used a prima flower with a blue rhinestone brad for the center. Don't forget Lindsay has a on going sale for every $5 you spend you get a free stamp so be sure to check out her shop! Also, check out what Lindsay and all the other talented DT members have come up with by clicking here! (Note I've posted by post early so theirs will not be available till in the morning) Thanks for looking! Hugs!!

Can't decide if I'm going to go back and try to come up with a title or just leave it the way it is. To be honest I just couldn't think of one so I guess unless I have a brain storm it will probably stay the way it is! This is a picture of Kyle when he was baby. It only seems like yesterday! Where does the time go?? He was always such a happy baby! I don't know how he went from such a happy giggly baby to a moody, don't talk to me kid! I guess it's called teenage years! But I love him no matter what!! Thanks for looking and have a great day!! Hugs!

The cute little pig/hog is another one of the test cuts for Cocoa Studio. Isn't he the cutest??

Lindsay's Stamp & Stuff - Sweet Thing
Hey ya'll! Today has been a busy day for me and I'm glad it's coming to a end! I've been doing some major house cleaning! Tomorrow I hope to start reorganizing my closets and cabinets fun, fun! I was able to take some time this evening to make a card for Lindsay's Stamp & Stuff. Lindsay is having a sale this Thursday & Friday 25% off of everything at her MyGrafico Shop. Hurry the sale only last till midnight Friday (GMT). On this card I used the cupcake from Lindsay's Love Grows Here set. I just love this set!! I also was blog hopping today and ran across a blog with free svg cutfiles! The name of the blog is Scale-files. He really has some nice cutfiles and he is very generous by offering them to everyone for free! Thank you Paulo! I used his cute nested pop frame and placed the cupcake on one of the layers. I colored the cupcake with my prisma pencils and added some stickles to the cherry heart. The paper is from K & Company and I found this stack some time back at Tuesday Mornings dirt cheap! The sentiment is a studio G stamp. I used the cuttlebug Paisley embossing folder and a ek success punch. I also found a challenge going on to add purple to your card and for me that was a real challenge! I hardly ever use purple. Now I'm going to have to go back and look for it and enter my card!!! As always thanks for looking and have a great Thursday!!

T-Shirt using Walk In My Garden & George + A Surprise!!!
Good morning everyone! Hope everyone's day is going good so far! I just got back from taking my son to school (just think next month he can drive hisself YIKES!!!) This t-shirt is for a upcoming challenge on one of the DT's I am on so I'm posting early with permission!!! I have always wanted to try cutting fabric with my cricut so I took the plunge over the weekend and got all the supplies needed. Which really is not alot of things to purchase just your fabric (I used cotton) and wonder under. The nice lady at HL had to show me the wonder under because this is the first time ever using it. I also bought the little tee (which is size 6 months) at HL. I just love this material! I don't know why I guess I just love the colors hee hee! Anyway, while I was there I had (well at least thought I had) everything planned out what I was going to cut. I was planning on actually cutting the elephant from the Paisley Cart. but once I got home I noticed I would have needed a seperate color for the ears! So, I started going thru my cartridges and ran across this turtle from WIMG. The little hearts are from George. Not only was this a fun project but it was super easy and my cricut cut thru it like a charm! Well, since I don't have any little ones at home or family or friends :( I decided to give this little T-shirt away as some blog candy! (If anybody wants it you may hate it!) Just leave a comment under this post and if your not a follower please sign up to follow me. That's it! I will let this run till after the challenge is posted which is due January 17th but won't be posted till the 18th. As always thanks for looking!! Hugs!

My 1st Easel Card!!!
Hey ya'll! Just wanted to share my 1st easel card with ya! I was on the cricut mb today and ran across this style of card. This is probably nothing new to everyone but me!! I also went thru some stamped images I got thru a swap and ran across this Tilda (I believe that's what you call her). I'm not real sure which swap I received it in but to whoever sent it to me THANKS!!! Ok so I had my image I wanted to color but I also wanted her to be able to sit on something and since I got Heritage in the mail this week that chair was screaming her name lol!!! I colored her with my prisma pencils (really wish I could get better at this) I then cut a oval with the George cart. and played around with it on my Gyspy to make this rug (sure hope you can tell that's what its meant to be hee hee) and I added some lace from my stash. The paper I used is from some scraps I had left over from another project. I had a hard time coming up with something neat for the botton so I just stamped a sentiment and added another piece of scrap pattern paper! Still thought it needed something so I added the prima flower and button and called it quits!! Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend!! Stay warm...Hugs!

Another prayer answered!!!
Just wanted to do a update on my dad's doctors appt. today! We got great news! He will not have to have surgery. The amurisum (again don't know correct spelling sorry) is not that big and he didn't think it would amount to anything. Just need to keep his blood pressure down and everything should be ok! Told him to have a follow up scan in a year to see if there's any changes. Thanks everyone for the prayers God is soooo GREAT!!!
