Hello! Welcome back! Today is day four of sneak peeks and boy oh boy are you going to LOVE the sets we are showcasing today! We have two more sets today "Springtime in Paris" & "And Then Some"! I will be showing you a card made with the "Springtime in Paris" set :)

I have a funny to share with you or at least to me I got a chuckle out of it! If you have followed me for a while I'm sure you have noticed I don't use pattern paper very often. I mean it's like really rare! I find it to be so much easier to start out with just a piece of white cardstock and go from there! If I throw pattern paper in the mix for some reason I FREAK hee hee! Anyhoo, I was bound and determined to use patterned paper for this card. I even made a trip to HL thinking a few new pieces of paper "might" spark something! You see the little piece of pattern paper I used on my card? Well, that's about all that's left to that sheet! I whacked that baby up so much trying to come up with something!!!! I managed to save this piece! So see...that's why I don't use it that often it FREAKS me out bahahaha! Okay, now you know the history behind me and pattern paper I'll move along with the details hee hee! If you love Paris or anything Paris related you are going to LOVE this set!!! The Eiffel Tower die is included and let me tell you the cool part! It matches perfectly with the coordinating stamp! No lining up!!! Just stamp it, then position the die over it and cut it out...perfecto!! Can I get a whoop whoop!!! I used a sentiment from this set too!! This set also comes with some decorative flourishes (I guess that's what you call them) and I've stamped them in the corners!

Thanks for stopping by today and I will see you back here tomorrow for our Blog Hop! Hugs, Leanne

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE & let's start spreading the word!

Good morning! I can't believe we are halfway through sneak peek week! Aren't you just loving these sneaks from Emma and the design team! It's so fun waking up in the morning and rushing over to Emma's Blog to see the sneaks! Kinda like Christmas morning hee hee

Today we will be showcasing two more sets "Wishing You Were Here" & "Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves".  For my card, I've used one of the flower dies that's included in the "Stitched Pretty Flower & Leaves" die set. The background I made by sponging with my inks. I salvaged this butterfly I made awhile back from the All Around Holiday set. I had stamped it with one of the background stamps from the Build a Banner set, inked it, misted it with water and Lord knows what else I did to it!!  At the time, I didn't much care for it but just never tossed it! When I was making this card the little booger kept growing on me so I decided to use it hee hee! The sentiments are from the new Pretty Spring Wreaths set.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you back here tomorrow with our last day of sneaks! Hugs, Leanne

MCT 31st Edition Sneak Peek Day Two!

Howdy!  I'm back with day two of sneak peeks! Today we will be focusing on two more sets that I know your going to absolutely LOVE!! They are called "Way To Go" and "Main Street"!

For my card, I've used a sentiment from the "Way To Go" set. Along with the fabby sentiments, there's also a coordinating bicycle die that you will LOVE! The buildings and the little bicycle on my card are from the "Main Street" set. I heat embossed the buildings with black embossing powder. I also embossed the little bike in white but since I embossed over the black some of the black showed through :(  I sponged around the edges with black ink and then used a jelly roll to make some stars (bahahaha some of the stars look a little drunk didn't notice till I took my picture!). I added Liquid Glass to the windows of the buildings too.

Hope you have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne

MCT 31st Edition Sneak Peek Day One!

Good morning! I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! All over the world I'm sure there are lots and lots of tired Easter bunnies needing some rest hee hee! Anyhoo, let me welcome you to day one of MCT's Sneak Peek week!! I'm just going to warn you now this release is AWESOME!!!

Today we are showcasing two different sets Pretty Spring Wreaths & Build A Pretty Flower! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE both of these sets! Before I get started with the details I want to apologize for the crappy photos! I swear I've been having NO luck with getting decent pictures lately :( I've even got my new photo tent (which I thought was going to solve my problem) but so far it's not been any better than my other one! I will say the days I took these pictures it was gloomy so that had just a little to do with it (I think).

For my first card, I've used the Build A Pretty Flower set! This set is so fun I know your going to love it! This is just a quick and simple card I made. The set comes with lots of different ways you can make and layer your flowers! Again, your going to LOVE this set!! The sentiment is from the Floral Sentiments set.

My next card, I used the Pretty Spring Wreaths set! Again, another quick and simple card but I had so much fun making it! This set comes with different wreaths with lots of ways of decorating it! The little bunny is from the Hello Spring stamp set. The sentiment is from the Hello Chickie stamp set.

Here's a look at it from the side....

For my last card, I used the set Pretty Spring Wreaths again! I just love the different flowers in this set! The sentiments are also included in this set too! The basket is from Hello Chickie. I just cut the handle off to make a hanging basket! For my lines (wires) I used the Build A Postcard stamp set. The decorative corner piece is from the Silhouette store.

Here's another look at this card from the side...

That's it for me today!! I hope you enjoyed my peeks (and ignored my crappy photos haha) Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne

I've used the Layered Labels 3 cutting files for the base of my card. The cute girl zombie is from the Zombies cutting files. The coffee cup in her hands is from the Java Great Day cuttings files. The sentiment is by My Creative Time, You Are Perk-fect stamp set

MCT Made In Minutes Monday!

Happy Monday! If you're anything like me you hate seeing the weekend come to a end! The weather has been gorgeous and we spent the whole weekend outside! To bad it's not going to stay that way! From what the weatherman said this week is going to be raining and cold again arrrrr. This is the winter that just won't die!

Today is Made In Minutes Monday at My Creative Time! I have a super fun and quick card to share with you! I forgot to time how long it took but I know it wasn't long at all! I used four different CTMH ink colors Crystal Blue, Smoothie,Honey, and Black.  I used a sponge dauber and sponged Crystal Blue at the top of my card and then I flipped my card upside down and sponged the Honey. I then sponged Smoothie in the middle. Last I went around the edges using Black ink. Before I did my image (the palm tree) I used a water bottle and spritz it with water a few times! I love how it made the little dew marks on the paper! The palm tree is from the Silhouette store and I did it a little different this time but not sure if you can tell by my picture. I usually just cut the image out and then glue it down but this time I used the negative part and sponged it onto my card using black ink. The sentiment is from My Favorite Sayings. Here's a look at it from the side...

I have been having so much fun playing with my inks and I hope I have inspired you to take yours out and play too!  Have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne

PPPR Baby-Themed Blog Hop!

Good morning! Welcome to the PPPR Baby-Themed blog hop! You should be arriving here from Leah's Blog but if not and need to start at the beginning click HERE to head over to Lisa's Blog! Our theme for this hop is all about babies!

For my first card, I used several PPPR cutting files - Changing Time (for the baby), Hoppy Easter (for the eggs and grass) and Bunny Photo Props (for the carrot) The sentiment is by My Creative Time, Happy Hunting stamp set.

For my second card, I used one of the jars in My Creative Time's, Stitched Chunky Jar die set and filled it with the diaper pins from the Changing Time cutting file set. I cut the jar out twice once in acetate and again in card stock. I used my CTMH inks and sponged a little background and a place for my jar to sit. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's, Fun Variety on the Inside & Out stamp set.

Here's a little better picture of it....

I actually made a third card but I gave up on trying to get a decent picture! I had such a hard time photographing my projects this time just never could get the lighting to work in my favor. If you have followed me for a while you know this drives me CRAZY and I've tried just about everything!! I have ordered me ANOTHER light tent (different than the one I have now) and see if it helps any and if not I guess I'm just going to have to live with it hee hee!!

The Blog candy for this hop is a $15 gift card to the PPPR store! For a chance to win, you must be a follower of each blog and leave a comment on each blog! For extra chances, you can also "LIKE" Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon on Facebook (click HERE) and/or signing up for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Newsletter (click HERE) A random winner will be chosen for the prize on Tuesday, April 15th!

Cherish yesterday....

Hello peeps! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week! Today is my favorite day of the week FRIDAY!!!  I'm ready to get this weekend started!!

I have another scene card to share with you today! Bare with me, I'm about to get them out of my system or at least for a little while hee hee! For the water, I tore a piece of paper and used it as a mask. I moved it in several different directions and rotated between two colors CTMH Sky ink and CTMH Crystal Blue. The sailboat silhouette is from the Silhouette store. I used CTMH Buttercup and CTMH Honey for the sun. I then sponged around the edges and along the bottom using CTMH Black ink. I also used stickles in the water to give it a little sparkle. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's, Treasured Moments.

I've had fun making these cards and still have some more ideas floating around in my head just getting them to come to life on paper is the hard part hee hee!! Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a AWESOME weekend! Hugs, Leanne

Happy Birthday!

Good morning peeps! As you can tell from my last several posts I've been having fun playing with my inks and creating scene cards so I have another one to share with you today!

Let me start out by sharing the link to the card that I got my inspiration from....HERE. Her card is so GORGEOUS and really caught my eye when I was on Pinterest! By the way, I LOVE Pinterest hee hee!! There's lots of inspiration from very talented crafters and I could spend days just looking (and drooling) at all the awesome projects I find on there! One day I hope when I grow up that some of that talent will rub off on me lol!!

Anyhoo, here is my take on the her gorgeous card! I did lots of masking and sponging and several times I really thought it was headed to the garbage can! But I have to say I'm really pleased with the end results! I really started out by trying to use her tutorial she had posted but before I knew it everything had went south so I just went with the flow bahaha! The stamps I used where CTMH Always Grateful, CTMH A Journey (discontinued), and for the sentiment I used MCT's Floral sentiment stamp set. The silhouette of the wolf is from the Silhouette store. I think my favorite part of the card is the river I made! If you enlarge it, it looks like there are stones in the water and I thought that was pretty cool! Here's another peek from the side...

Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs, Leanne

MCT Inspiration Wednesday!

Good morning! Today is Inspiration Wednesday over at My Creative Time! If you are new to my blog or to My Creative Time this is the day that we create from something that inspires us!

I don't like posting pictures of other peoples work without their permission so I'm just going to share the link with you! This is the card that inspired me...click HERE :) I've used the Girl's Night Out dies for the dress and hanger. The purse is from the Classy Girl Accessories die set and I've used a sentiment from the Girl's Night Out stamp set. I'm wondering, since I used all the Girl's Night Out sets could this be just a little hint that THIS girl needs a night out bahahaha??!!! I sponged around the dress using Lagoon and Black ink. I wanted some sparkle so I added silver stickles to the dress, purse, and then I made little dots with it too! Here's a look at it from the side.....

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Enjoy your Wednesday! Hugs, Leanne

Everyone call you amazing...

Good morning! I hope everyone's day is getting off to a great start! I have another card I want to share with you! I'm having so much fun making these scene cards!

For this card, I thought I would tackle a night scene! I started out by punching a circle and using it as a mask for my moon. I then used my ink and sponged around it using Crystal Blue and Sky ink. Next, I used Sweet Leaf and sponged it for my grass. I used black ink at the very bottom. The trees are from the Always Grateful stamp set. I sponged around the base of them using Topiary. The couple silhouette is from the Silhouette store. The sentiment is by My Creative Time, Treasured Moments. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

I hope everyone has a AWESOME weekend! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Leanne

Playing with my ink!

Hey ya'll! Happy Thursday! I'm back today with another card to share with you! I had so much fun playing with my ink on my last card (and plus they are still strolled all over my desk hee hee) that I decided to use them to make another background for my card!

This is really easy to do and doesn't take long at all! I started out by swiping my ink across the top and bottom of my card. Next, I made a mask by tearing a piece of card stock to represent my mountains. I placed my mask down just a little to leave a sky and then using a sponge dauber and my ink I created my first mountain. I just kept moving my mask down and sponging with ink till I got the scene I wanted! At the bottom I went back and sponged using black ink. The cowboy silhouette is from the Silhouette store. The sentiment is from the Inspiring Words Accents stamp set

I just LOVE my CTMH ink pads! If you don't own any I highly suggest giving them I try! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a GREAT day! Hugs, Leanne

Here are the colors I  used for my card today..
Sky
Crystal Blue
Bamboo
Cashmere
Black

MCT Whatever Wednesday!

*This is my second post for today click HERE for my PPPR post*

Good morning! Today is Whatever Wednesday over at My Creative Time and I have a card I want to share with you :) I made this one for my brother. He had a bad week last week and I thought this card might would cheer him up!

I had fun playing with my CTMH ink pads! I started by swiping the color Honey across the top half of my card stock. I then did the same for the bottom half but using the color Crystal Blue. I then made a mask right above the Crystal Blue, using a sponge dauber I sponged (using the Crystal Blue again) to make a mountain and the ground underneath the tree. The tree is from CTMH's Always Grateful set. For the reflection in the water, I stamped the tree on a transparency sheet and then flipped it upside down then I gently rubbed it onto the card stock (hope that made sense lol). I then used my sponge dauber again and the color Sweet Leaf for the bottom to represent a grassy ground. The deer silhouettes are from the Silhouette Store. The sentiment is from the Many Greetings Stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne

Sending BIG HUGE Hugs!

For my card today, I've used the cake girl from the Make A Wish cutting file set and the digital paper pack, Sunny Skies Pattern Pack 2. Isn't this little girl adorable! The sentiment is from the It's All About You stamp set by My Creative Time. I just love this paper pack too! MCT Try Me Tuesday

Good morning! I hope your week is going great so far! This week is suppose to be really nice weather wise and I can't tell you how excited I am for warmer days! My hubby is already lining up yard projects for us to do in the evenings as soon as he gets in from work and this is bad to admit but I'm excited for that too!!

Anyhoo, today is Try Me Tuesday over at My Creative Time! The technique we are using today is "masking". I LOVE trying new things! I have to admit I really need to practice on this one! I just about used up a roll of masking tape for this little bitty piece you see on my card bahahahaha! I started out on white card stock but in the end I trimmed it wayyy down to fit the Stitched "Capture" frame die. I used the Hello Spring stamp set for the bunnies. The sentiment is from the Girl's Night Out stamp set. Last, I added the Stitched Daisy die. Here's a look from the side.....

I want to say this is such a FUN technique and I hope I've inspired you (even if it's a little hee hee) to give it a try! There is lots of inspiration on Pinterest and I'm sure that the design team will knock your socks off so don't forget to check Emma's Blog too! Hope you have a AWESOME day! Hugs, Leanne
