Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weekend. The wind is still a bit nippy but it sure beats the weather we had in Northern Alabama on Friday. We had several tornado warnings in different counties surrounding me and one here in my little town. We are fine but others weren't as lucky and I pray for them and their families.

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for Tuesday Trigger over at the Moxie Fab World Blog. I haven't entered in any challenges in a while and this one sure looked fun! The newest Peachy release PK-564 Teamwork and PK-562 Gnomegrown went PERFECT with this challenge! Here's the photo that you are to take your inspiration from....

See!! Doesn't it remind you of a Gnome's home?!!! I used this picture but I also used my gnome box that I made in my last post for inspiration too!  Ok, let me get started with the details I'm down to the last day to enter so if I keep on rambling my luck the challenge will end hee hee!!

My card measures 4.25 X 5.50. I used My Mind's Eye, Complete Boy Stack for the pattern paper. The solid card stock is just out of my stash. I cut three strips of paper and used the Martha Stewart doily punch to represent my roof (each layer I added Helmar's ZapDots) I then used the window frame from the cricut cartridge Sweet Tooth Boxes (it came from the same house that I used for my gnome home in my previous post) I then paper pieced the cute little gnome pushing the wagon w/flowers PK-564 Teamwork. But before I added him I used a fiskars punch for the grass and the little white fence is a Martha Stewart punch. I used Helmar's ZapDots also on the gnome to give him and the wagon some dimension. The little red flowers are from PK-562 Gnomegrown. For the sentiment, I used My Creative Times stitched oval die and stamped it with the sentiment from PK-562 Gnomegrown. I used some twine and wrapped it underneath the sentiment. Here is a side view of the card....

For the inside, I used another piece of the pattern paper I used on the front as the background and matted it with white card stock. I used another flower from PK-562 Gnomegrown and also the sentiment which says...Gnomegrown is a grin, a giggle and a good ol belly laugh!

Gnome Grown!

Good morning and happy Hump Day!! Yup, we are on the downhill heading for the weekend! Woo Hoooo!! I'm SUPER EXCITED today is my very first post on the Peachy Blog!! So grab you a cup of coffee( or if your like me have to have a Dt. Mt. Dew first thing) and kick back! I've got TONS of pictures to show you of my project for today!! Since this is going to be a extra long post I'm just going to jump right in with all the details!!

I've used the Sweet Tooth cartridge to create this little gnome box and I'm calling it Gnome Grown (after one of the newest releases that just came out hee hee) Let me start with the picture above it's the front of the house and see she's welcoming you in! The sweet little gnome girl is from the March Stamp Kit of the month and I've paper pieced her using a older DCWV stack called The Green Stack. Matter of fact all the pattern paper I used for this project is from this stack! The little flower pot beside the door was part of the cut from the cartridge I just peachified it a little hee hee. The flower with the face is from PK_564 Teamwork and the flowers at the bottom of the pot are from PK-562 Gnomegrown. The flower that is kinda hidden behind the little gnome is also from PK-562 Gnomegrown. I made a little welcome sign using the sentiment from the March Stamp Kit of the Month and added the flower which is also from this set. Here's a closer look..

Now let's move on to another side of the box...

I used the flowers again from PK-564 Teamwork and added one to a pot which I made and the leaves are a Martha Stewart punch. The other flower I added to the window seal. I cut a strip of the pattern paper I used for the house and added some Helmar ZapDots to make my window seal then added the flowers from PK-563 Garden Wheelies. The little gnome is from PK-562 Gnomegrown (isn't he a cutie lol) I used the sentiment from PK-564 TeamWork and placed it at the bottom of the grass (which the grass was part of the box cut from the cartridge) Here's a closer look of this side also!

Ok...now to the other side! I sure hope your not getting bored hee hee I promise we don't like much!!

For this side, I did another window seal (the same as other side) but I've added the cute little shovel from PK-563 Garden Wheelies. The watering can at the bottom is also from this set but I stamped the can with a flower from PK-562 Gnomegrown to spruce it up a little! This gnome is from the PK-562 Gnomegrown set (it's the largest from the two in the set) I've got him standing on a mushroom from the March Stamp Kit of the Month. Here's a closer view of this side...

Now onto the back of the box!! 

I think this is one of my favorite sides! I love the little gnome pushing the wheelbarrow of flowers! It's from the PK-564 Teamwork set. For the little flowers on the ground and the one in the window they are from the March Stamp Kit of the Month. The little gnome looking out the window is from the PK-562 Gnomegrown set. Here's a closer look of the back for ya!

Ok, I know you don't believe me but I PROMISE I'm about finished hee hee!! 

Here's the little sign that is also part of the cut from the cartridge! I just wanted to show you what I used on it too!! The sentiment and the flowers are from the March Stamp Kit of the month. I did this on both sides of the sign!

Whew, I betcha never thought the end was coming did you!! This is my last picture PROMISE hee hee!!

I stamped this sentiment from PK-562 Gnomegrown onto both sides of the handle! Thank you soooo much for sticking with me! I know there were tons of pictures but I just wanted to show you up close how cute this newest release really is and what all you can do with it! Happy Birthday!

Good morning! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods! I have a simple card I'd like to share with you today using Peachy Keen's newest release! I know it's super simple (my husband called it plain!) but I still like how it came out! Every time I tried to pair it up with some pattern paper it just wasn't working! The pot and sentiment is from the new March Stamp club kit and I colored the pot with my copics. The little shovel and watering can is from PK-563 Garden Wheelies. I also colored them with my copics and did a little shadowing under the flower pot with the same colors. The  daisies are from this set also and I used my copics to color them too!! I did stamp them onto a separate piece of card stock and then hand cut out because I wanted to be able to pop them up with some Helmar ZapDots! Here's a picture from the side....

Monday Madness...Imagine That

Goood morning everyone! Happy Monday!! I hope you had a FANTASTIC weekend! Today is Monday Madness.... Imagine That and I have a simple card to share with you today using my Imagine, Imagine More cartridge and of course Emma's awesome stamps!!

For my card, I'm using My Creative Time's I Believe in Leprechauns stamp set! I wanted to show you how versatile Emma's stamps are and that you can use them for all occasions! I found this rooster on the Imagine More cartridge! It didn't give me the option on this particular cut for layers so I had to print him flat. He also had a little chicken that was attached to him but I performed another little surgery and snipped him off hee hee Don't worry I was as gentle as possible and the little chick is resting peacefully on my desk :) I loved the colors in the rooster so I kept them as they were and then printed out my background paper. I used my I-Rock and a gem for his eye. I used the Martha Stuart fence punch and the grass is also a fiskars punch. I heat embossed the sentiment using Zing white embossing powder. I used my white jelly roll pen to add some stitches. This was a super simple and quick card but I love how it turned out and hope you do too! Well, that's a wrap for me today! Peachy Keen Sneaky Peek!!

Hello everyone! Hope your having a fabulous Saturday! Today not only the new release is available to purchase but have you heard? We're having a release party over on The Peachy Connection ning site WOOT! WOOT! It's going to be lots of fun with challenges and whats a party without prizes! Yup, we will be giving away prizes too!! So come on over and chat with us live! Today I'd like to share a card I made using the Peachy Keen March Stamp kit! Oh my, this is such a cute release! These little gnomes are so cute and of course I love their faces!! I used BasicGrey paper line Picadilly to paper piece the gnome couple. For my gnome house, I used the Christmas solutions cartridge and did some whacking with my scissors to try to shape it into what I'd think a gnome home looks like lol! The grass is a fiskars punch. I also used another new release on this card! The sentiment and the flowers are from PK-562 Gonomegrown! I love how all the sets coordinate so well with each other!

Well, that's it for me today! But NOT the last project I have using this new release hahaha! I've had so much fun playing with these stamps! I feel like I'm living in Gnomeland! I'll have another card to share with you on Tuesday and on Wednesday is my VERY FIRST post on the Peachy Keen Blog sooooooo excited about that and CANNOT wait for you to see what I made hee hee! Peachy Keen Challenge - Weather!

Happy Friday to you!! Today starts a new challenge over at Peachy Keen Blog! The challenge is to make a 3D item using the theme weather. We will be awarding Top Peach to one lucky person that uses their PK stamps  and follows the theme provided (which is weather) and a nifty badge for the two runners up to display on their blogs!! So be sure to play along and have some FUN!!

Now on to my project!! At first, I'll be totally honest when I read the challenge I went directly into PANIC mode!! I took a quick look around and spotted this picture frame I purchased from Wal-Mart last year for a buck!! It hit me then! I had a perfect picture of hubs grilling pork chops and steak over at my parents house! The picture is just a little dark and there's also a story behind that too! I have a brand spankin new Dell printer that I absolutely HATE and wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy and for some reason can't get the thing right now to print a picture and also if it did I seriously don't know if the quality would be any good. I turned to my little HP portable printer (the one that only prints 4x6 & 5x7) and went to install on my new computer and guess what??? It won't work with Windows 7 eeekkkkk!!! Well, the software won't work that you install on the computer so I had to just use it by sticking my camera card in and printing directly from the printer. Long story short I wasn't able to do any editing to the picture like I wanted to :( But it's actually darker in this picture then in real life!  I used my cricut and the cartridges Block Party, Doodlecharms (sun) and Create A Critter (cloud) to spruce up my picture frame! This frame has a magnet on the back so I'm going to put this on my frig! For the sun and the chef's face I've used PKSC-03 March kit of the month set. I really LOVE the old man's face on the chef! He just cracks me up lol!! I love how versatile these stamps are!! I forgot to mention with the chef I did have two cut him out a couple times so I could use the face. That's the only bad thing with the people from Block Party it won't let you hid their faces :( I also used some gems for his buttons and did some stitching on him and some on the grill. I added some silver brads on the wheels of the grill. Everything is popped up using Helmar ZapDots except the cloud. I matted my photo and also cut the card stock behind to fit the frame.

Well, I guess that about sums it up with the details! I sure hope you like it as much as I had fun making it!! It now proudly displays on my refrigerator and I get a grin every time I go to get something out! And I'll let you in on a little secret.....he is the King of the Grill at our house I usually burn overcook everything I try to grill!! MCT Stamp of the Month and Linky Party!

Hello everyone! I hope your having a great day! Got some exciting news for ya! Emma will be picking three of her FAVORITE sets out of the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd edition stamps and placing them on sale!! For my card today, I made a cute little Easter card using My Creative Time's Color Me Happy set and also the layering dies from the Hello Spring set. I also decorated my egg using the zig zag, straight line, & the little flower stamp that's included in the Hello Spring set. I heat embossed with Zing white embossing powder then I used Tim Holtz mustard seed to color it with (love that color!) I then used my cricut and the cricut cartridge Sugar and Spice for my little bunnies. For their faces, I used Peachy Keen stamp sets PK-494 Everyday Character face parts for their eyes and PK-138 Tear Kitty Face Parts for their whiskers and nose. I used some glossy accents on their eyes. I used some chalk from Stampin Up for the pink on their ears and tails. I then used my I-Rock to add some gems to their bows! The grass is a fiskars punch and the background pattern paper was printed from my Imagine using the HopScotch cartridge. The little clouds are from a fiskars stamp set that I stamped and then hand cut out. I used my copic marker to shade them with. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Color Me Happy and I cut it out using My Creative Time's Fancy Frame stamp and die set. I then used Pink Memento ink to ink around the edges. The bigger bunny and the sentiment are both popped up using Helmar's ZapDots to add some dimension.

You Crack Me Up!!

Hello everyone! I'm just sooo darn proud of myself :) This makes THREE (yes THREE hee hee) post straight!!  I've got to be the slowest crafter out there so this is HUGE for me lol!! AND the week is not over with yet!!! I still have MORE!!! Woooo Hooo!

This pattern paper may look a little familiar to you and that's because I used the scraps on yesterday's card! It's from the Imagine cartridge Lori's Garden! I used three of the different patterns and I just decided I loved it so much I would use up all that I printed! I printed 3 6 x 6 squares and got two cards out of it so pretty good huh? Anyway, I also used several of My Creative Time's stamps and the stitched oval die. The cute little chickies is from Hello Spring and I paper pieced the egg with some of the pattern paper. I used my circle and scallp circle nestibility dies to cut the image out. This is the first time using this image with the sentiment. In my little basket I showed on Monday I had masked this part off. For the sentiment I used on the Stitched Oval die it's from last years set called Color Me Happy and I heat embossed it using Zing white embossing powder. I used my white jelly roll pen to add some doodling and also the stitching.

Hey everyone! I'm back with another project using My Creative Time's Hello Spring set! I just wanted to show how versatile this set can be! It doesn't have to be just for Easter!! 

I always forget how much I LOVE the imagine till I print some of the pattern papers and I wonder why I don't use it more lol! Now it may be just me but I have fell in love with Lori's Garden! I do believe this is the first time  printing some of the beautiful paper that is on this awesome cartridge! I love how you just don't have to spend so much time trying to find papers that match! This does it for you!! Ok, nuff about my Imagine let me get on to  the rest of the details hee hee! The embossed background is a cuttlebug folder and I truly wished I would have marked all mine with their names but I didn't and I didn't save the packaging either :( I do know it's a older one I haven't purchased any folders in FOREVER lol!! This awesome sentiment is from the Hello Spring set and I used the Fancy Frame stamp and die set to cut it out with. I then used Helmar ZapDot's to add some dimension! Here's a picture from the side...

I finished it off by adding some stitching with my gold Uni-Ball pen! Very simple card but I love how it came out! Well, that's it for me today! I just wanted to show you that this set can be versatile and not all about Easter! I really hope it helps you to look at all your stamp sets and utilize them in every way you can!! Hello Spring!

Good morning! I sure wished I was saying Hello Spring for real!! Brrrr it's cold! I guess old man Winter is not finished with us yet! Ahhhh but getting to play with Emma's newest release sure helps hee hee!

I wanted to share with you a little project I made using My Creative Time's Hello Spring set! I just love these little chickies aren't they cute! I also used the layering die that's included to make my two eggs. The set also includes two different pattern stamps that fit within the egg perfect! I added just a little stickles to them both to add some sparkle. I used a template by Paper Wishes to hand cut my little basket out. The pattern paper is from the Kate's Kitchen Imagine cartridge. The Hello Spring is one of the included sentiments and I used Emma's Fancy Frame stamp and die set to cut it out with. I used some pink tulle to tie a bow on top. I am soooo not good with bows so forgive me it's a little wonky!!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone has enjoyed sneaky peek week and is as excited as we are with the new release!  If you are arriving from the talented Kim's blog then you are heading on the right path! If not you will want to head to Emma's blog and start at the beginning!  Today is not only release day but it's the Grand opening of  My Creative Time's online store!  Yup, you heard it right hee hee Emma has her very on online store now yipee!!!  She is also having a Grand opening sale 10% off of your entire order valid 2/16 - 2/24!!     

For my card today, I used two of Emma's newest sets Happy Hunting and Spring Chicken Background.  For the floral background, I used VersaMark embossing ink and heat embossed with white Zing embossing powder.  The little paint bucket is actually a separate image from the bunny. I did some masking to make it look like it was sitting right in front of him! I colored the image with my copics and then used the plain circle nestibility die to cut him out. I then used some Helmar ZapDots to layer on top of the scallop circle nestibility. The layer behind is also another nestibility called label 3.  The sentiment is from the Happy Hunting set and I used Emma's Fancy Frame die to cut it out with. I used Memento Pear Tart for all the inking and also for the sentiment.. I finished by doing some stitching with my white Jelly Roll pen.

Hee hee this little card went through some minor surgery! It got a boo boo right as I was taking its picture (maybe it got camera shy lol)  It was touch and go for a little while and let me tell you I was sweating bullets!! Emma's voice kept going through my head  there's no mistakes in paper crafts, there's no mistakes in paper crafts but then that evil side spoke up and said oh yes it is missy just LOOK at what you did so I had to fix it!! Luckily all went well and I was able to save it! Well, enough rambling from me I'm sure your ready to get on with the hop! Thank you soooo much for looking and hope you have a awesome day! Good morning and welcome to day two of My Creative Time Sneak Peek Week! I have to say Emma has outdid herself AGAIN!! I'm just in LOVE with this release hee hee! Today we are giving you another peek of what's to be released this Thursday! See the cute background? It's the peek for today!! The name of the set is called Chicken Wire and includes this background plus one more that is super cute too!!

Shhhhh I'm not suppose to tell but I'll let you in on another little secret.....there MAY or MAY NOT be another peek somewhere else on this card but you didn't see it here k?!! So looking past the other may or may not be peek for my card let me give you the rest of the details lol! I used the Chicken Wire background stamp and stamped it onto plain white cardstock using Ranger's jet black ink. I then used Tim Holtz Mustard Seed to ink all over the image. I used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo to ink just around the edges. I used the ticket punch from Stampin Up for the corners and added some stitches with a Uni-ball gold pen. The flower is one that I had gotten from a challenge I won awhile back and I just added a black button to the center. I used My Creative Time's Stitched Oval Die to stamp the sentiment on and by the way the sentiment is from day one's sneak peek Happy Hunting!

Peachy Keen Challenge - Photo Inspiration!

Hi ya! I'm soooo excited today is my very first project/challenge for Peachy Keen Stamps!!  I'm still having to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming lol!! Our challenge this time on Peachy Keen Challenge Blog is a photo inspiration challenge. Here is the photo we were given to go by...

I guess you can tell by my card I got my inspiration from the strawberries and also the color combo red/black!! I couldn't help it everytime I looked at the picture all I could see were STRAWBERRIES!! It also gave me a chance to use the cricut cartridge Preserves! I remember wanting this cartridge just so I could add Peachy Keen stamps to the fruit! Shame on me for not using it till now!! I'll definitely have to use this cartridge more!! The fruit on this cartridge is just screaming Peachy Keen stamps hee hee!  I also used the Wild Card cartridge for the shape of my card. The cute little faces I stamped on the strawberries is from one of my FAVORITE sets PK-460 Happy Lashes Face Assortment. This set just puts a smile all over my face! The pattern paper is by Basic Grey called Picadilly. The stitched oval die is by My Creative Time and I used the sentiment (I Love You) from January's add on PK-295 Cupid's Sting. I also used my white jelly roll pen to add some stitching and also the doodling to the strawberries. Last I added some Helmar ZapDots to add dimension to the strawberries and to the sentiment. Monday Madness....Imagine That w/MCT!!

Good morning!! I hope everyone is off to a good start this Monday morning!! The weekends just fly by way to fast don't they?! Today is Monday Madness...Imagine That over at My Creative Time! I'm glad that Emma does these challenges they are fun and I need to use my Imagine more!!

I have a really simple card to share with you using the Imagine More cartridge. This card literally only took minutes to make and most of that was just adding the stitching lol! I used the circle shape that is already on the machine and filled it with one of the pattern papers from the Imagine More cartridge. I also printed out the butterfly and used Helmar ZapDots to add dimension. I'm not sure exactly what to call the shape I stamped my sentiment on (it's also on this cartridge). I did change the color on the top layer to a beige so I could stamp on it. The sentiment is from Emma's This and That stamp set and I was so excited that I sized it right and the sentiment fit perfectly lol! I also added more ZapDots to this layer to give it dimension too! I'm not sure if you can tell in the photo but I used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo to ink around the edges.  Here is a picture from the side to see the dimension...

I finished by adding some cream colored card stock to the inside. Like I said, this was a really simple card to make!
